There is no error. Simply stops the boot. Neither the recovery nor the system will not boot.
X1o could be with flash rom, Recovery, you can solve it?

I don't believe that you are hard-bricked, however you really need to answer the question about getting into "fastboot" for anyone to able to help.
If you can enter fastboot mode, there is hope.
Hold Power and volume- until you see the white text at the top of the screen. Then just do nothing until the screen changes.
The screen should change to 3 icons choose the USB icon and confirm with the instructions on the screen. If this works, you are in "fastboot".
If you can get into "fastboot" then try the guide that people have linked further up the thread.

I do hope that you can get your Prime working again, and I'll try to help as much as I can.

Unfortunately not, it should only take 5 seconds to change screen.
This is a real shame, and I have heard of 1 other Prime in a similar situation to yours that also seems unrecoverable.
I think you will have to wait and see if ASUS get a version of NVFlash released to us. By all accounts it is a very real possibility so just keep the faith and hopefully your Prime will rise once again.

Hey dude, looks like Jermaine151, SwiftKS and BoyNamedStacey might have come up with a solution to your problem.
You should PM SwiftKS and see if he can help, he's a lovely chap, so I would assume that he will offer full support.
Read up on ADB and FASTBOOT so that you know what is happening beforehand.
I really hope that these guys can help you.

I feel all of your pain. I'd fall down & cry in the middle street if my phone would come back alive. I just gave $599.99 on June 26th of this year. Mine is graveyard dead too. I have a jig too and it does nothing on my phone after this.
The phone beeps? Can you better describe whats happening and on what machine?
No offense, but I don't understand your logic. The price you paid is irrelevant. You ostensibly bought a working product, which you immediately attempted to modify, and you made a mistake and broke it.
It seems to me that you're trying to assign blame to someone other than yourself.
To the OP, you could try a JTAG. I suggest coming clean to your father outright - accept responsibility and move forward with a solution.
If the JTAG doesn't work, Samsung may or may not be willing to repair it for a price.
Good luck.

No, not at all. The computer tries to connect to it over & over and it wants me to to reformat one drive over & over as long as it connected. It's bricked.
It is completely hard bricked. I had the same exact thing. From flashing the same exact rom. About 2 weeks ago.
The phone shows no sign of power whatsover. When you plug it in to the PC however, it asks if you want to format E... then again.. and again... keeps repeating until you unplug the phone regardless of if you click yes or no, it will keep asking until there are hundreds of windows that all say "Do you want to format E"
Mobiletechvideos did infact fix it with their jtag repair, but this is THE ONLY way to fix. Jig does not work.
Sorry bud but I know your exact feel. Because I seriously did this exact same damn thing 2 weeks ago

JTag will still fix it dude. It will cost you $50 but.. that's 1/12th what you paid for the phone so... Head to mobiletechvideos and have em fix it up for you.

Brad, that makes as much sense as anything. I plan on only using links from here from now on. Seems to be safer.
JTAG is the way to go.... I installed an international ROM to my rogers note. Total hard brick. It wouldn't do a thing. Sent it to mobile tech videos and they sent it back 100%. Well worth the $50...... good luck.
my phone also got hard bricked.. can u say how to recover my galaxy note i717

If your phone is hard bricked and shows no signs of life you will need a JTAG service. The one that I know of is mobiletechvideos.com and its going to cost you about 50 bucks

I was replying to the person that came in the thread saying they had bricked their phone.

Phone doesn't charge when off..

I remember reading that TWRP doesnt allow the phone to charge when it's off..? is this true?
To test, we turned the one x+ off and plugged it in.. the orange LED came on, but then got dim.. so I unplugged it.. and it never went out.
If I let my one x+ die, will i be able to recover?
Look for, download, then flash the stock recovery. It will now charge when off. Before u flash a new Rom just flash back the twrp recovery. After u flash new Rom, flash back the stock recovery.

Your phone will not charge when off if your using TWRP.

ONLY on AT&T not the Inter one just dont let it die die
Omg this is nothing short of a deal breaker. If wifey let's her one x+ die while she's at work, it will become a brick?
Is anyone reading this?
Well this is good info to know. Maybe it should be a sticky for anyone who may be on the fence with flashing. I probably would of done it anyway but it definitely is good to know.
Any chance this will be fixed in the future?

Then sit down and build your own recovery. Otherwise flash the stock recovery on her one x+ and never worry about it. You only need TWRP when flashing a new rom.
I mean **** this is a problem.
Where to find stock recovery? We don't flash enough zips in recovery to justify the "gotta rush home phone is about to become a brick"

well this info is in the TWRP thread, this topic has been touched upon about 30times. if the pair of you are incapable of using the search button then not my problem! How about the pair of YOU contribute towards this, i DO NOT have the AT&T HOX+ only the international one. if it's a deal breaker oh well it happens.

Please note your question at the top is wrong. The device does charge while off. It has an issue coming on from a dead battery
I will upload stock at&t recovery and edit this post with a link shortly.

About the question being wrong: that is why it was a question, because I don't know what it will (or won't) do.
So you say.. If she's talking on the phone and it dies, it's a brick? It is still not clear.. And lloir came thru and flamed and didn't even set me straight about what it does and doesn't do.

99.9999% chance. I heard someone else say they got it to charge but it took 30 minutes and luck. There is a large chance they are wrong given the knowledge level of most XDA memebers he probably had an international version.

I mean understand why you say that, but read all of the info in the first two posts here and see if you would know going into flashing that recovery that if you are talking on the phone and it dies, you now have a brick..
Seems like that would be something to plaster at the top of the thread.
I mean i'm not being a hater, I appreciate Lloir wrote a recovery for the phone, but this is need to know info.
Is there a way to fix the recovery so that it does charge when off?
I am going to flash the stock recovery here shortly.. where did you get that?

[Q] Clearing Notifications

Hi All, hopefully someone can help. I've just updated my S3 to 4.1.2 and I've now noticed that the 'clear' button in the notification pane is gone. Also can't swipe away notifications now. I've searched google and XDA but can't find any answer, good or bad to tell me if there is a cure for this. The fact that there is a lack of complaints about it makes me think that everybody else is okay with it and I'm just whinging or everybody else has a clear button still, and mine has gone AWOL. Oh, I'm UnRooted by the way, but as soon as my warranty runs out, I'll be rooting it faster than a Rat up a drainpipe!
Okay, I have just discovered that I do have some notifications that I can clear. But others (notably Words with friends)
says in the bar above it 'ongoing' and you cant clear it without playing the games. Any Idea's?
Thanks for any help.

[Q] My S4 won't turn off!!

Guys I need help here. I just rooted my phone (Samsung Galaxy S4 I9500), and it was fine for a few hours...but now it just wont turn off.
Even when the screen times out.
Even when I press the power button.
It will just stay on no matter what. (Interestingly, long pressing the power button does bring up the power dialogue!)
I did not flash any Custom ROM. I did not even install any recovery! The only tinkering I did was Setting cpu speed using Tasker...
Guys please help...I'm in trouble...
If the kernel you used is uncompatible or if its a stock kernel, you will get issues, also if you set the frequency to high for your phone,it will give issues,Look @ this.... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1727171

Problem still persisting.
Umm by battery pull, do you mean removing the battery while the phone is on?
(Update: Trying removing the battery while the phone was on...didn't help)
Thankfully, I've got the S View cover...So most of the screen is black, just the time, etc are on...

So you posted a link to an app that does not support OP's phone in the free method with only the POSSIBILITY of being able to root with the pro version. Sounds kind of scam like to me.
To the OP: I was trying to find some info on rooting your phone, and though I found stuff for the d160, didn't have any luck with the version you have yet and not sure if the method is compatible because it involves install a custom recovery and sometimes they support more than one device, but often not.

I'm aware of the difference between a Windows app and an app for the phone, but the end result is the same: the phone is clearly not supported in the free version nor any phone that is even similiar, meaning they'd have to try the Pro version to even have a shot. Recommending paid software without letting people know just seems...inappropriate, at best. Glad it worked for your phone, but your phone and the one in question are vastly different.

Is that so? Trying to use a root program not designed for your phone is going to do 1 of 3 things:
Nothing (hopefully)
Bricked
Or leave behind bits of coding that could prevent a proper root access app to work
Let's say it MIGHT work, well, that means the OP has a 50/50 chance of messing up his phone, to some degree, that would involve needing to reinstall the stock operating system. Not likely that the firmware is easy to find, and OP might not be comfortable with trying to fix his phone in that manner. Not odds most people care to bet on.
I think it's great that you want to help, but you should be more careful with advice you are not sure of.
