Do you guys think that it's possible to watch movies in 3D on this Evo?
I mean, if I convert a BR 3D disk in an MKV format, would the Evo be able to play it in 3D?
If so that would be awesome, not to mention that I am really thinking to buy this beast!

i agree w/ rydah. btw the 3D effect is much more astounding than I thought it would be.. i was skeptical, but not anymore... the optimus 3d looks great w/ 3D (got one for a week =P) but w/ the higher resolution on the evo, i'm super excited
What are the chances of this phone getting Dev Support as much as the evo. I'm undecided between photon and EVO 3d. Photon seems like a better phone than EVO 3D

Have you even bothered to check the development Photon forum?
I know this seems like a noob question and i have looked over the forums and website but have had no luck in finding this out
Everyone keeps saying no because of the chinese dev, i guess they dont have 4g out there, but some guy said they shld be getting lte soon. One can only hope for 4g at this point.

LTE? No Wimax?
Yup lte, its all good cause sprints dumping wimax nd switching to lte , hopefully we get any progress to 4g that wld be the greatest, i had miui on my og evo and really missed having my 4g. Its just one sacrafice on having this badass rom.

I am honestly more concerned with the 3D aspect. I have some 3D games i purchased and would love to be able to use the feature that sets the phone apart. I guess its a sacrifice I will have to live with.
The EVO 4G been out for a year Wimax on cyanogen mod been out for 8-9 months, if they added it by now I doubt but who knows

i agree i love the hell outta this Rom but the 4g is kinda being a dealbreaker for me. I guess i will still flash this Rom sometimes but it wont be a daily driver for me. For daily drivers i guess il just have to stick to Synergy and CM7

I am quite concerned about that as well i read somewhere that they are working on the 3D. But not a word on 4G.

Have others seen the EVO ad on tv? If so what do you think. Also it says 7 million people love EVO do you think that is og EVO sales or they managed to push out the new ones.... Or that 7 mill is for the total brand name so to speak.

Meh... Its was ok but nothing special.
Very boring and generic, but it will get the word out the the new EVO is out. Of course no mention of LTE and its blazing speed.

During the NASCAR race today it was featured a couple times and once the Announcer called it the HTC EVO 4G Lite... uh yea...
Next time he got it right, but funny the stuff I see on tv...

So I'm at the USC game and this pops up on my phone...and my friend right next to me, who is also on Sprint but has the Galaxy, got the 4G signal too! But it was gone within 15 minutes.

Yeah you might want to visit the s4gru forums for lte updates or download the sensorly app to see where 4G LTE has been spotted.
