Hi all i am creating this thread in the hope all people with locked bootloaders will post roms here they find to be working with stock kernal on their neo mt15i/v.
i have been using this rom since i got phone root'd and cwm installed YD.
it all work ok nice and fast. but not much customability.

Hello XDA since I'm not able to post in dev section ill post it here..I was frustrated that after flashing Perception v1-RC1 the dreaded home button lag came back and Yoderk's Fix in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1295754 will make your phone crash nonstop so I modified my android.policy.jar and made a CWM zip to get rid of it.
Tested with Perception v1. Might work with odexed stock roms. Use at your own risk.
Credits to Oliwe for his guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1227479 and to Yoderk for pushing me into figuring out myself.
Let me know how it goes!.
Tested for a full day and no issues so far.

Don't know what it means, but its a good thing. I think its usually "de-odexed", though. I'm sure its explained somewhere, I know its in one of the stickies in the Captivate forums.

To be honest I highly doubt this will work on stock roms as they are a KH7 i777 base where as perception is based on KI3 which is for the i9100 (International GS2).
Odexed Roms
Did anyone find out if this is working on stock rooted ODEXED (not de-odexed) roms? Im waiting for CM7 to finish cooking and am staying ODEXED w/root for a while, but that lag is killlling me. Anyone? Anybody?
There's no way it'll work on odexed UCKH7 ROMs, and it will likely not work on deodexed UCKH7 ROMs either.
HOWEVER: Those who have Hellraised XXKI3 ROMs may have success with this mod.
Or try installing one of the JKay Deluxe V12 themes on Perception if it's XXKI3-based.

Yeah we never got it working on stock odexed but if you want to deodex you can run the mod in my signature.

Can someone tell me if that rom [ROM][ICS 4.0.4][27-Jun] Spacious, smooth and light ICS http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1603919 will work fine with locked bootloader ? I checked almost all topic (more than 70 pages!) and didn't find right answer. In topic there is that will work but people complaining that wifi is not working than and that's big problem for me than. Please let me know if that rom is good choice for phone with locked bootloader ? I have phone after 14w20 why that don't want ulock for now...

Ok the big benefits of spacious come from the init tweaks, look at the thread for enabling init.d on stock Rom, copy the files from the init zip to the spacious zip.
Make sure you are on 431 back up and have the ftf to hand, reboot to cwm, factory reset, wipe dalvik, install your modified Rom, reboot and cross your fingers.

unnfortunately,no.. one of my friends tried..he got bootloops..so its not advisable on locked BLs..

thanks for letting me know about that. In rom info we can find info that rom is working on locked bootloaders... I heard that only wifi is not working and not sure if is the same with new versio of that rom as well...

One more question, when I have locked bl than when installing wrong rom with flashtool or cwm way can I break phone ? I don't think so but prefer to ask anyway...

U can get bootloop so fix that via seus...

i have a sony ericson wt19i phone
recently i upgraded it to ICS
but it was slower than GB
so i want to downgrade it to 2.3.7(GB) by using flashtool
for that i need to find the 2.3.7 firmware

You're phone dont have official 2.3.7 firmware. You can download 2.3.4 and flash it with flashtool.
There is no Android 2.3.7 for you, but you can try a custom rom based on it.
There is a sticky thread contain list of roms in the development section.
Look there.

I suggest to you some custom firmwares, like the CyanogenMod, high stability and better performance. Or in the development you can find some nice custom firmwares from the community. Some days doing a research, and you'll be ready to go, carefully reading the FAQs and the instructions, it's not as complicated as it seems =)

Disadvantage is that once you root and unlock bootloader you lose your warranty. But hey the advantages far outweigh it. You have better performance battery speed and smoothness.

If you have not rooted or unlocked bootloader you can't use cyanogen. So quick guide
Bootloader unlocking-

Rooting - well my advice is don't do it. The custom roms like cm already come with root so why bother
Flash the fxp kernel in fast boot using either flash tool or sdk. (Google it) then you'll have cwm. Use it to flash the zip file from your sd card. Before you do anything just search and read around a little. The more you read the less chance there is for anything to go wrong

That kernel is CM10 Based, which is even in thread title, and you flashed it on Sony stock.

oki.. so cm10 based not support sony stocks..
one freind of mine in this forum helped me in rooting procedure and he using this kernel and rom and suggest to use same. he also using neo v.

You can use that only on Jb Rom
And by Jb I mean 4.1 not 4.2 Jb Roms

As Fusion is for JB rom?
im having trouble with revolution rom v10 but since v8 if im not mistaken.
Everything seems to work except camera. It shows camera failure.
I did full wipe but nothing seems to work.
Can somebody help me?

Hi!
You need to install ROM with the stock kernel first time and flash other kernel if you want. I solved this problem doing this procedure.

:good: also you can flash the Note 3 camera .zip from CWM search well on that threat...
