worried about my phone

Wow, well done, after you bumped 2 threads, not that last post was made more than a year ago, but that have absolutely no relations to your problem, you finally created your thread..
What is that kernel? I searched in dev sections and can't find any kernel with name fusion.
Also, stop and wait, you bumped your own thread after 15 minutes

i777 aberration

Hello everyone,
I hope someone can help me, I just bought an i777 kk6 at&t.
I check this thread about aberration for i777 and I was wondering if I could get any help installing it into mine i777.
Aberration i777
Should I root my i777 first?
I tried to do it, but I had an error with my wifi so I unroot the phone, after that I search all over the internet to find out on how to root an i777 kk6, but I did not find any good information on how to do it (I am new with this but I swear I search a lot specially in this forum the past 3 days)
So if you can please let me know about any threads where I can find any information on how to root the phone and then install aberration that will be great.
In advanced thank you very much for your help and sorry for my lousy english.

No. Those would be for the GT-I9100 I believe. The kernels for the I777 will all be available in this forum, in the development section. You must use a Gingerbread kernel with a Gingerbread system, so when you are rooting with UCKH7, the two main custom kernels are linked in the guide. That would be Siyah, and Entropy512's daily driver. Either one will work fine to get you ClockworkMod Recovery. You'll probably be flashing a different kernel when you put on a new firmware anyway.

Use the Siyah kernel from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1592228
It is the same kernel from the website you found, but adapted specifically for the I-777. There are two versions. For aberration i believe you need to install the version WITH micswap, but check the threads to make sure. If you are using it with another ROM, check the first post from the thread above, they list which versions you need for different roms.
One caution: some people have reported problems when installing v4 of the kernel immediately after flashing a new ROM. To avoid problems, Flash your rom, reboot the phone fully, then go back into CWM recovery and flash your kernel. Or, if you are not flashing a jellybean rom, you can just use version 3 of ktoonsez kernel instead of the version 4 beta, and avoid the problem altogether.
Edit: oops...seems creepy beat me to it. Just do whatever he said, he is one of the most knowledgeable people here

@bigote,
Maybe I misinterpreted your question, and wgoldfarb has it right, but just to be clear...
If you are rooting the phone with UCKH7 plus root from my guide, you will need to install a Gingerbread custom kernel to get ClockworkMod Recovery so that you can flash Aberration. In that case, DO NOT use this kernel since it is for ICS and will not boot when flashed with a UCKH7 system. Read and follow my previous post.
Once you have Aberration installed, then you can upgrade the kernel to the latest Siyah ICS kernel from this link.

Sorry, when i replied i had not yet seen creepy's post. As i said above, just follow what he said. To clarify my answer, i was assuming you were planning on rooting your phone following creepy's instructions, then install aberration, and THEN flash Siyah to use with aberration. now I have GB 2.3.4 (as always)

Now If I want to install aberration I should do it from here and then root the phone with Siyah?

Hello XDA Elites!!
I have been a silent admirer of XDA from past one year. This Forum has helped me a lot and taught me few things about Android devices. I have been using Galaxy S2 from past 10 months or so. But now i ve sold it and bought S3. I am quiet familiar with Kernels, Roms, Mods, Root-unroot, Odin, CWM etc..
I want to know which is the most stable and reliable Jelly Bean Rom? Be it Custom Rom or Official leaked Rom. ( i am not saying perfect coz i know these r not final releases and are just leaks). I am asking this question because i read almost 30-40 pages of Faryab's Jelly Bean Rom thread and 10-20 pages of Revolution HD, CheckRom and WanamLite Rom And i also tried searching threads with my question But i did not find clear cut answer to my Question.
JellyBean Roms i ve tried so Far : Revolution HD 9.5. i wiped everything data/cache/dalvik. and also run Rom cleaner. But this rom was too laagy for me. Keyboard was not working neither default nor smart keyboard pro. nd dialer was also v laggy. So i didnot try any Rom again. I have limited Bandwidth and Speed. I have a holiday tomorrow and have spare 2-3 hours.
Please suggest me a Jelly Bean Rom which i can Flash be it Custom or Leaked Official ( i cant flash again for a month or so). Right now i am on WanamLite XXBLG9 v2.2

Like the guy above me, they're not allowed, these types of thread (I think..)..
But I'll help you.
At best, you get a JB ROM with AROMA installer, which is based on SAMMY firmware code..
That way you'll get an ANDROID device, which will REVOLUTIONize your life! Not to mention, I love games in HD
Hope I could help!!
best ROM thread will be ignored ~

You don't, you have to ask a mod..
Closed, it states in the "READ FIRST" sticky that these threads are unwelcome, as there really is no such thing as a "best" rom of any kind.

Yeah everything ok but why to flash CWM recovery?
How do I check I have proper working CWM as mentioned?
Because you need cwm to install a zip file to your phone.
If you have siyah running on your device, you have cwm recovery. Use that.

No. Like the link says, its a rom for the i9100G. Yours is the international version. You need to use a ROM that's built for your variant else you brick your phone. Use the search button and read ROM descriptions and instructions before installing.

Upgrade GS2 I9100G To CM10

Hey guys, I'm looking to flash CM10 on my friend's Galaxy SII I9100G previously running GB (2.3.4)
I've read the tutorials, I need an ICS bootloader to flash CM10 over it.
My question is: Is there an ICS kernel with CWM that I can flash on the device then install CM10 or do I have to download the official ICS ROM which is 340 MB, flash it with Odin then flash CM10 via CWM?
All I'm looking for is a way around this 340 mb download
Thanks!
(I'll be glad if someone posts a helpful tutorial)
There are very clear and concise instructions in the very first post of the official CM 10.1 thread in the i9100G development section.
EDIT: I think I see your question. Kernel is NOT the same thing as bootloader, nor does a kernel contain the bootloader.

Yes, you can flash the bootloader only.
As for where you can find it - I don't suppose you tried googling it? I found it in 0.5 seconds this way.
EDIT to add: as an aside, it's been 12 hours since your initial post. You could have downloaded and installed the full stock ICS 10 times over by now
