Hi all! I noticed i kind of bug in my xperia mini pro sk17i (fw .58) and a friend of mine who has the same phone in the same condition too. Basically i have synched the device with my google account where i hae several calendars on google calendar. Each calendar has its own color and when i access google calendar through my PC i can defenitly see all the correct colors. Now, when i look at the system - stock calendar everything is marked "red", which is the color of only one of these calendar. See:

1) Now, i was wondering if this problem is common to the .62 firmware of the xperia mini pro. Anydoby can cofirm this?
2) Is the xperia mini also affected by this?
3) Any way to solve it other than waiting for SE ICS update?
Photo doesn't work. EDIT: Seems like something else is wrong, as link actually is correct.
Is that colors option even possible on Androids?

I have edited a bit the post so that the link to the image is more readly available.
Actually the calendar should display the proper color of one calendar's event. The image i have posted is just the month view, but also if i go into "week view" or "day view" i only see that red label. I aked here because i wanted to see how does the stock calendar behave on other xperia owners'. How does the xperia mini, ray and active behave?
Mini acts the same way. I think it's not a bug, it's simply how Sony Ericsson wanted their stock calendar to be.

That would really be strange. I mean ... the whole thing of having different calendars (with different colors) is really that of getting at a glance what kind of event are you looking at. If sony thought that , it is really a dumb thought.

I see ... i really wanted to write an e-mail to sony about this but before that i wanted to ask a mini pro owner (with fw updated to .62 release) if the stock calendar behaves always like this. Since i am on .58 i am not sure

I just had this very idea, wanted to share with you:
1a) Put together SE legacy stuff, that some of us might miss:
- Backup & restore
- Timescape
1b) Bring stuff from new devices, like ARC, for instance:
- Arc launcher
- Any fancy apps you recommend
2) Publish it via xRecovery as an add-on.
We could centralize all efforts here, on this thread. What do you think? Please post the threads, if you have already efforts or results on part of these (I'm just looking into how to crack licensing for the backup ), I will also try to enlist those.

Known issues: Tray bar is not visible, blocks are too large, drawer window is vertically somewhat small.

- Sony Ericsson Sync (by me)
Sony Ericsson account can be used from sync accounts. Also sync is provided as an extra app. Theoretically other SyncML accounts could be also used.
Known issues: Font is black with a black background by account settings. By adding a new SE SyncML only first/last name is editable, no phone numbers (maybe a number from the call could be saved, don't know).
Anyway we can restore our old contacts from sbf backups or from Sony, this is cool anyway (saved my butt aswell). With the new contacts app also vcf export is there, so after an export it could be directly fed to Google contacts, cool aswell.
- Voice search
Works flawlessly.
- Track ID
Known issues: Locked, do not work currently.
Biggest thanks goes to Lef.teris for providing the ARC rom.
Works good otherwise, got one FC from timespace during the whole day. I've seen no degradation of original CM rom.
Testers are welcome.

(I've seen 2 of them: one has the drawer misaligned, and the other's drawer window is vertically somewhat undersized.)

Maybe I'm totally misaligned: too much SE stuff needs to be taken over for some these, don't know. The arc launcher is at least quite standalone.

Sorry, what I meant is that the point is to centralize these efforts in one thread if possible, here in DEV and also package them together. That way we don't have to manage N threads and check what is the latest, is there an effort to do this or that.

i have managed to crack ''SE backup and restore license'' and it loads now on CM6 mini pro...
but ofcrs its nt fully functional so need to work on it and also sm help
i also got ''timescape'' from xperia arc fully running on any froyo device even non SE devices
however for ldpi devices the text is too small to read so need help there too

why dont you attach the files to the post(click on "edit" button then scroll down until you see a brown bar sayng "additional options"... and them select "manage attachments").... it is easyer to download
archflex when i bring an update i will include the right build.prop for this alpha so you wont need that build.prop anymore and that way it will work on cm6 and cm7 this way only on cm6

there is one funny thing here...
some htc desire users reported timescape + ts widget working fine
apart from that even backup and restore was working for them
if some one here could test sms and contacts backup/restore on a non SE phone then it cld be a boon I guess

The resolution the Desire is quite close the Arc (54 pixels difference only ), so at least they could read the Timespace UI

but it doesnt work on CM6, it doesnt seem to be able to connect to the microphone to record audio.

are they really? so it's not a mic problem after all, just there is no notification that 'hey, what the hell are you doing?'
could you send where the locking code is? The good thing is that if one app lock is removed, similarly all other apps could be broken.

No trackid in the non-retail version Also no time, no cable today, grrr...
Did anyone notice some apps missing in the ICS upgrade? Like the music unlimited app, media remote and perhaps most importantly, the powersaver app? I thought that was strange - the powersave app was quite popular from what I seen and I don't know why it was removed - the extended battery mode says it only turns off wifi and data traffic, nothing else and is not configurable. Some of these apps are not available in the Sony section of the Google Play store. What does everyone think?
I didn't see many changes to the music app, just a few visual changes and of course the nice visualiser. It's a little easier to scroll though the artists etc. and I like that.
The video app makes it easier to navigate videos no? Don't have to use file explorers etc.
The last thing I wanted to talk about was SI codes. Did anyone see one for the UK or world? I have not seen one in any of the compilations or comments and I'd like to use it to update via PCC.

As per apps,I never had those apps in GB except Power Saver,and I didn't use it,so I am not missing any of those.

I agree with you about music app.
Album and Movies apps are way better than GB ones,it has become very easier to navigate and more effective.

Not that I know of. In fact, the media apps that are included are slightly different to the ones mentioned and displayed on the official Sony mobile site. They look mostly like the normal Sony 2012 apps - not the hot ones from here:

Hi Guys,
my problem is, that on my Sony Xperia P LT22i, idipendently of the way of syncing, contact pictures won't show up during run / accepted calls, only by the contact itself.
I already tried to assign pictures in Contacts, or by synchronising with Google, Picasa, or through PC Companion. I tried pictures with low and high res, with 72dpi and 180dpi, with/without EXIF data, edited by Gimp, Paint or Microsoft Picture Manager, or loading up originals taken by Canon Powershot or EOS, or even by Xperia itself. I tried again and again, deleting all contacts and synchronising again, without result.
OS is an Android 4.0.4, build 6.1.B.0.544.
I actually won't like to use 3rd party Android apps, i'd do it with the built in way.
I would appreciate any help. Thanks in advance,

The best way would be actually the common way, by assigning pictures to contacts in Contacts, either choosen from Gallery (of pictures shot by Xperia itself), or from any folder/image copied to Xperia from my notebook. Right now none of the above and earlier mentioned methods is working.

meanwhile, last week, I upgraded to Jelly Bean (unbranded, 6.2.A.0.400), but the problem remained the same. I have to use a 3rd party app (without advertising) to get this option.
Has anybody an idea, what could be wrong?

Hi guys a found a very annoying problem when i upgraded my devices (Xperia P) firmware to Android 4.1.2 Build number: 6.2.A.1.00
The problem is that when i play embbeded videos and go full screen there was no control bar anymore. The pause/play and the seek
bar was also removed. Before the update everything worked perfectly then. I have tried using different browsers like chrome dolphin and even

2. hit the fullscreen button
