I am from India.I have serious network problem on my sony erricson xperia mini pro Sk17i. The 3G signal on my phone is very weak. I have tested my phone with 3 different SIMs of 3 different operators.Same SIMs gives me good 3G reception on my Nokia X5-01 phone, but on xperia mini pro Sk17i network strength is very poor and sometime bars goes down to nil.

Try flashing a different baseband. Or. Go to a service centre nearby
Hmmmm...you can use One-Click Signal Booster (Google Play Store) to boost network signal on you devices....
i have use this apps & it boost my network signal 2 bar than before....

I use TIM carrier (at Brazil) and doesnt work (weak or without signal) - other carriers are ok!
This happened after update to Froyo (as Gingerbread has same problem)
I tried revert a backup but the problem continue (since 2 weeks ago)!
Anyone can help me?

did you find the solution i have had the same problem since one weak can you help
I just flashed my X10 to the generic 2.1.A.0.435
I went from an ATT branded phone that was running android 2.1
Now I have no data connection. I get service for calls and texts but no internet. WiFi seems to work fine but the phone asks me to select an operator when i use the internet - I choose ATT then it tells me that it could not download the seetings
I dont know if any of this will help:
data traffic IS enabled
baseband: 2.1.54
Kernel: 2.6.29
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Make sure you have the correct baseband with the firmware

I DO have the wrong baseband! I found a link to the correct .ftf baseband file on here but there seems to be something wrong with multiuploader's website.
Any ideas where else to download the correct baseband file?

it usually has 2 or 3 bars but I couldn't listen radio over internet???
before xperia mini I have a samsung innov and it had full network coverage without problem, but with this phone when I try to listen radio from the net, it couldn't achieve ? also I think this phone has really network troubles, because when I put nearby the guitar amp, it makes huge noisy???

I got the SIII i9300 and I upgraded it recently to 4.1.2. I don't know if it's from the upgrade or from my new carrier but I got some horrible signal (including indoors). It will show H and full bars, but when I try to call out the bars drop, it goes from H ro G and even a lost signal. So I don't know if its a ROM issue (it was a rooted stock BTW) or the radio needs a update.
Any thoughts? The provider is Play in PL.

Theres an app called getril where you can auto-match modem & RIL or just check if they are compatible if you dont have root.
I don't know where you live but I can recommend you to try out the XXELLA baseband / modem - simply the most battery and signal reception friendly baseband for the Samsung Galaxy S3. Do not forget downloading and installing correct RIL thru getril-app from Google Play for stable signal reception..

what's the baseband of your phone
try upgrading the baseband to latest baseband(77)
