You had unlocked bootloader.

Also, flashmode is turn off phone, hold down volume down button and connect USB cable.

oh, good.
it's disappointing to know the service center didn't fix your phone. i guess warranty is just good for factory defects.
exactly ...if its a software fault we are better off solving it on our own from xda than service center...... they r only good for hardware faults..... and most of them are not covered in warranty i think
but they took my warranty papers and cancel guarantee...what a bastards
i am using now this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1444858
it's hard to find rom which requires no unlocked bootloader and custom kernel

if guys still on issues one and only best idea to overcome the problem is to relock the bootloader. it can be flashed using flashtool like we do for .tft files or sin files. try it out it really worked for those regreting OTA updates.
Sorry u are stuck

Hi guys. I have/had SE X10mini with miniCM7 installed and i decided to update this great ROM to the latest version.
I downloaded flashtool-0.9.10.1-windows.exe and E10_2.6.32.60-nAa-05.ftf. Installed the flashtool and drivers, connected my phone in flash mode, flashed it successfully, but when disconnected the phone and turn it on, i was able to see just the boot animation and the screen says CWM based recovery v6.... Just like the user here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2217007
Ive tried to reflash the kernel again but unfortunately i chose X10_V1_BLRelock.ftf instead E10_2.6.32.60-nAa-05.ftf at the flashtool and after that the phone wont turn on, wont charge, wont reset (via PWR button and HOME button), wont nothing :crying:
Is there something to do about it or the phone is irreversible fcuked up?

A JTAG-machine is a box that can completely restore a bricked phone using connections in the phone itself, sort of the way Sony Ericsson does it in the factory.
Repair shops usually have one, but they're too expensive for individuals.
40 euros is not a bad deal for an x10mini I suppose, depending on how old it is, but you could still ask a repair shop what they charge for repairing yours
Aha, got it. I doubt the dealers here, in Bulgaria own this JTAG-machine, so they probably should send the phone to the nearest service center and I think this will cost me much than 40 EUR, so maybe ill just buy new one.
The guy from the advert sell full, non-used package - most ppl here dont know how to put custom ROM, and after the stock sucks they think the phone sucks, i dont complain about it

Hello guys, it's been a long time since my phone got bricked. Not sure if it's soft or hard bricked. I was on the plane and using the phone just fine and I turned it off for landing and the phone is stuck at the Sony Logo ever since. I was able to get into the CWM recovery and reinstall the rom I was on, which I had for months and even use the AROMA installer (touching didn't work though so I used the volume buttons). I unlocked the bootloader. I installed other kernels. I relocked it. I flashed many official roms. Seus would not let me update the phone because I have the latest version even though I install old versions using Flashtool. Could it be a hardware problem? Should I just throw the phone in the trash?. I don't want to buy a new phone right now because I am studying abroad in 3 months and I will be getting a branded phone (can't decide between HTC ONE and S4 )
Do you know anything about testpoints and such? Also is this considered a soft or hard bricked phone? thanks

The touch in aroma won't work I guess, as far as I know you have to use the volume buttons/home button in aroma, that's normal
So did you try to flash the stock gingerbread/ics rom and it even didn't boot up? Have you tried charging the battery?

have you checked if fastboot and flashmode work ??? if they do try flashing because I think the part you changed have some kind of a serial code that the software installed doesn't recognize, and so fails to boot, so you have to flash a new ROM and reset the saved serials

Hi today the physical bottons of my Sony Xperia XZ1 stopped working, following the advices given in a post https://forum.xda-developers.com/z3-compact/help/power-button-volume-buttons-broken-t2990614 on xda developers for an xz3 I restarted my phone by putting it in ultra stamina and then back in normal mode but I had no benefit from it. Do you have some advice?
Is your device rooted?
No my device is not rooted
I bought my Sony Xperia XZ1 in march 2019 so it is still covered by warranty and I don't want to root it for the moment I'm asking here so maybe I can avoid to stay with out phone for one month by activating the Sony support.
new update now my device is switched of and it doesent wont to restart I tought that the problem of the bottons no more working was software related so I decided to turn my device off and wala It doesent turn on.

Librat I already tried tu use that option, but anyway it asks you to long press the volume down button before and after connecting the phone to the computer and I have done that but it's not working.
Edit: I activated the warranty, thanks to all the ones that tried to help.
I will write what was the problem if they say that to me when it comes back.
So yeah, so let's me say that first: my phone was a little bricked, the screen didn't work but the small led lights on the Xperia x10 mini worked, the lights were always red, I could not flash stuff then. But after charging it for hours the light turned green, and guess what? I could now flash. I downloaded the original firmware for it. Then using flash tool I flashed the firmware. But I didn't look and the firmware was for India and I bought the phone in sweden. And I saw that while the firmware was flashing. And guess what happened after it said flash successful on the flash tool? My phone now won't boot at all, The screen doesn't work, and the led lights don't work on the phone anymore. Please, someone help me.

I can't anymore because it doesn't show any signs of life and PC doesn't detect it anymore
Then take it to authorized service center and let them try to fix it.
