did you download the motorola x64 or 32-bit drivers?
you need the sunfire drivers for your phone (in fast boot, etc) to work right with rsdlite

While tuning one the phone, press up and if your phone writes stareing rds protocol, then you are in rds mode.
Root? Okay..
But to install kernel you have to have an unlocked bootloader.
Have you?
Edit: btw aln kernels are in beta! Not too say in alpha.. Most of them install them to report bugs to dev creator..
For flashind sbf, make sure you have almost full battery.. So don't waist your bat..

Maybe a newer/older version of ODIN. Search to see if you can find one that is known to be compatible with Win7
Have you cheked your USB DEBUG setting?

So I really wanna get Ubuntu on my device... We have a preview out so I thought I could download the pre-install and the new release flash it via TWRP 2.6... It was a no go..no boot stays at the black screen for about 30 min... Then couldn't use my restore file had to RSD the stock... So how would one cook up a good pre-install zip or go about getting it up and running... I would be working with a xt907 Motorola RAZR M unlocked bootloader on a windows 7 64x or on Ubuntu 13.10... I thank you kindly for your time...
