Sorry if this is in the wrong section.
I am in the uk,however my question is that the app won't run on a rooted device. As stated in there description on the play store.
If I use the voodoo temp unroot app will this work. If so what steps do I need to take.
Thanks for looking and helping.

not atm. you may be able to dl the necessary files right to your phone and use a teminal emulator to root, but i'm new at this stuff so i'm not really sure.

I'd just borrow someones computer for 15 minutes. Im sure you know someone who has one. Download all the files to your phone so all you have to do is install the drivers, run the program and uninstall it if they want.
or you can do the dock method at a sprint store if you are brave enough...
I found computer... Is there a linux root method

I rooted the photon only using the phone. Downloaded the file to sd. Then used terminal emulator to run 3 commands..done..so easy.

Did you get it figured out yet? Looks like you would be successful using the Photon Torpedo method using just your phone: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1216131

So I bought a bluray/dvd/digital download. First i've ever bought a movie like this. The digital download can be used through the application pocket blu. Only problem is that when I try, the app says device detected as rooted. For security reasons blah blah blah. Is there any way around this or trick the app into thinking I'm unrooted?

I never allowed it su access. In superuser, it has no log of gaining access and it is not listed in the apps section

Follow the posted directions in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1289635
Or, do it the easy way and install this app: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.zachspong.google.videos.root&feature=search_result
One click to shut root down, then click to activate root again once you are done.
Since I rooted the B&N Nook app has quit working and i cannot download anything from B&N. Could it be the replacement system ui causing this. Any heelp would be appreciated.

Try the download trick I suggested and make sure you run it while using the nook home launcher

Will give that a try.

If you froze device manager that can keep you from accessing the nook market and stuff. Just unfreeze it and the nook store will work. Then freeze it again when you are done. That's what works for me.

You can try MyMobiler
I'm unrooted, is there any way to get this without root?
Sent from my R800i using XDA
From Droid VNC server's Google Play page: "As of Honeycomb 3.2 there is no non-rooted display grab API, unless the package is signed by the manufacturer or operator."
In other words I doubt it is possible without root.
It is possible. In fact I am developing a tool which does that. Should be out in 2 weeks. I'll keep you posted.

I have seen an app, no idea what it was called. I think it was only for tablets, but I suppose that's what you have, sorry for being dumb if that was stated. If I find it I will tell you the app. It was free one day on the Amazon Appstore.

Yes there is, well kind of. Look at justin.tv app. I stream live from my phone all the time onto justin or twitch ( both same company ) onto my channel. Then just go to the channel on any comp or phone around the world. For example, download justin.tv app from app market. Create a free channel on their site, turn the app on and login then hit the record button. It'll say live recording, goto your site aka twitch.tv/name and watch.

not aware of any method for temp rooting. why not fully root it?
Certain cable providers like time Warner won't allow you watch live tv on their app. Some games too when rooted
Sent from my HTC_Amaze_4G using xda app-developers app
You can fully root and then you can use the SuperUser app to temp unroot.
Only Temp Root that the Amaze had was on 1.36. Since then, it was always a perm root.
Can someone link me to the guide that instructs how to pull bloat apks through adb?
In the hospital right now so it's hard. And thank you so much for everything you've done all of you
