This morning I woke up and as I entered the XDA routine to look for a new ROM for my WT19a based firmware .58. I found this HYBROM v17
changed the kernel that is using the kernel itself kamarush very good I recommend to everyone and it is not stable and already spent battery is an ICS alpha. I decided to switch to GB because I was thinking of games as the OS is lighter so I can have more Hz observed for the Games. Ai gave me a Kernel not know where I'm just in Boot img. Do not know which kernel is said that he worked in the cell that is based on .62 firmware. I did everything right as in Tutorial #http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1373435But I was stuck in the screen just did several times and always restarts the machine. Thank God and Backup ClockworkMod restaruar achieve my original kernel. Soon after the Advanced Backup to start the phone again. At first did not recognize most USB cable into fastboot mode or mode mass is nothing in debug mode only after a disconnected and connected the USB device works again. I wonder if applying a Kernel difirente ROM for your application. Aver can brick. Because I could not install: Confuso:
in boof rom the firmware using is .62 not 58.. the kernel using this to work is xkernel, rage and boofkernel ..

According to the RAGE was vendor Kernel v2.8. Because this Rage Kernel v2.8 would not have to run? Rage Kernel v2.8 ROM does not run on 58? Because before when I was using kernel kamarush MiniSanduwich and everything worked perfect. Someone tell me a kernel itself wrong in a ROM which defects that generates them.
Now I'm too afraid to apply a different kernel and not return it to flow. Because right after that my Kernel celularar stopped recognizing the USB device for a time that is normal.
Rage Kernel, X Kernel and kernels created by bbooff should work on all stock(including .42, .58, .62, .69 and many others) and stock-based ROMs.
GB kernels work only on GB, ICS kernels work only on ICS.

Kernel only works on GB and GB Kernel ICS ICS only works on this I know. That's why I had to Madar Kernel to use this ROM Hybrom which is based on GB. It was then that the problem had a second boy from the Facebook group I started | Kernel Rage is that it currently uses in cell http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1398910 it all works perfect ROM and Kernel. In my not work as I did everything right in the tutorial and the Kernel flasher I used the flash code script to write the kernel. After I did the tutorial teaches you how. Get stuck in boot screen did all limpesas as taught and nothing. When I went to reflasher the kernel you were using ICS Kernel Before the computer stopped recognizing the phone Fastboot mode. By great luck my backup of the original ROM ClockworkMod was recovered successfully. Now I'm afraid to apply in Kernel flasher and it does not return to work.
I need to know what damage they can imreparaveis to come when a kernel applied to a ROM in a dispositovo that is not supported as in my case.

Hello all,
Okk,actually story starts from the day custom kernels are released. Here we go:
I was on wb v4 when actually doom released his custom kernels,he had two versions X/S AND FS Series.First i tried x/s series kernel and was stuck on XPERIA logo. Then,i tried FS Series it worked but cant overclock.. then i came to know that coz of some files in the ROM,u cant install x/s series untill u delete those files.
Then,WB released v5,again first i tried custom version but then also i was stuck on xperia logo. Then,i tried stock version it worked but u cant overclock.I decided to retain on stock version for some time.
Then WB released v6,now i tried gaming ROM first but guess what? I was again stuck on xperia logo.I flashed Doom's fs kernel then the ROM worked but u cant overclock.
WHENEVER I FLASHED ANY CUSTOM KERNEL OR CUSTOM ROM WITH THE CUSTOM KERNEL I WAS STUCK ON XPERIA LOGO....
I am not able to boot wb's gaming rom, always stuck on xperia logo.
Need help...
P.S. BOOTLOADER UNLOCKED.
EDIT 1:
Noticed one thing when i flashed doom's kernel v4b, it doesn't vibrate when u power it ON.
But with FS kernel it does...argh!! what the hell!!

The fact that you can install ROMs means that you have xrecovery installed and rooted 2.3.3. So my only advice would be to make sure your on the right baseband .71 and the original stock kernel. Then install wolf gaming rom. If you still can't boot up...then start from a completely clean 2.3.3 GB STOCK ROM and try over again. OR your phone is serious and cannot handle any OC or UC or UV or OV and that is possible since other users have similar issues.
nice username. By the way ZEUS raped his sister.

P.S i tried repairing it with SEUS it does repaired, i rooted it, then intalled xrecovery, then cleanly installed WB's Gaming ROM and again stuck on Xperia logo...
anyone who can help me here..??
bump!
How does it behave after flashing SE kernel (repair with SEUS or FT)? Did you boot and test before rooting again?

Hi all, i'm a newbie to this whole rooting, bootloader unlock, and flashing custom kernel + rom process.
i'm currently on the FXP 030 ROM, not the FXP 030B as i see other users saying it is still quite buggy. after i got rid of the stock SE rom and installed the FXP rom, i went ahead and flashed doomlord's custom kernel.
first try i used the v05-FS (NOT OVERCLOCKED) for CM7-FXP ROM (and ROMS based on CM7-FXP ROM) with the FXP 030 rom. but no luck. i was stuck in boot animation screen, wiped davlik cache and still couldn't boot up.
so i did a little search in the thread and found some users suggesting the v05a with BootManager v1.0.1 for CM7-FXP ROM is the correct and latest kernel, and that it should be combined with FXP 030 B.
i stuck with the FXP 030 rom, went ahead and flashed it with the V05a kernel. it took 2 tries for my phone to boot up but its been working fine since. wifi works and seems stable.
now can someone please tell me if this is the correct combo? FXP030 plus doomlord's V05A kernel. I'm just a little worried because doomlord said that the v05A kernel is the overclock version and shuold only be used by experienced user which i'm obviously not lol.
appreciate any response.
that shouldn't be a problem... if u overclock it beyond 1113mhz u might *burn* or b'come unstable that all
Sorry for my bad henglish but i need help
I have a serious problem with the touch screen and custom rom. With the CM9, CM7 and MIUI, and its kernel, touchscreen does not work! But if I use the stock rom and kernel the touch screen works, or if I use the official ICS kernel beta with ICS Rom: KA15 Team Ice Cream or Sony Xperia Hybryd rom or ICS official Sony touch screen works ...
So I think that the touch screen works only with the official kernel!
Here's how I do:
1 - flash with fastboot kernel
2-cwm go to recovery and wipe data / factory reset, and Dalvik cache partition
3-zip file with the flash custom roms
4-reboot
But with CM9, CM7, Miui and their kernels touch screen does not respond
Please Help!
Try to use KA1x kernel with miui/CM roms; Maybe it works.
Could you give me the link of this kernel?
I have used PwnKernel 1.6 with miui and SETweaked android 2.3.x and PwnKernel ICS for KA15 and it worked very well.
PwnKernel 1.6: click
PwnKernel ICS(no bluetooth): click
Inside the zips you will find the boot.img(kernel) and Pwnkernel-modules. For wifi and bluetooth(BT only for pwnk 1.6) you have to install them under recovery after flashing the kernel.
If they don't work, take a look here; it's a list with kernels and roms for neo.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1316394
I have used 1.6 Pwnkernel with CM7.1 but the touch screen does not work the same!
In my opinion the problem is another, looks like this user has solved the same problem but with a ZTE phone: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jKO9flwApD0. I tried doing the same thing but my Neo does not work without batteries, then the user updating the video wrote that he found a better way to solve with a fixed kernel. I also tried the kernel FXP but the problem returns! is very strange but I can not find solutions!
maybe it's depends on hardware, maybe your phone has other touchscreen (like there was with SE X8)
Trust me the stock Rom is much faster than many others. I've give up on trying any android 2.x based roms and the ICS ones are, at least for now, laggy and/or buggy. Don't feel bad if you can't solve this problem
Use the fxp kernel provided in the rom and download the latest cm7.2
Pwn kernel will give problems for cm7 and miui.
And since miui is based on cm7 and cm9 ...they share the same bugs...if you are facing dead portion of screen at the bottom in landscape mode...then only latest fxp kernel can help.
And if the whole screen is non functional ...then there is something wrong with your flashing...and it is obviously kernel related.
Sent from my MT11i using XDA
U should 1st flash the .64 baseband coz cm7/9 n miui need .64 baseband to work properly
Sent from my MT11i using XDA
I have flashed .64 firmware official, then i have flashed kernel included in the zip file of CM7.1.0.1, then i have format and wipe everything and flashed rom, but Touch doesn't work!!
Same thing with CM9!
I do not know what to invent to make it work!
I have flashed the official SE beta Ics kernel and everything works! means that the flash is correct. Right?

MiniCM7Pro will only run on the stock kernel, there was no need to unlock your bootloader, and most certainly not to install a custom kernel. Get back to stock kernel (I think there's a link provided for a kernel you can flash with flashtool) and then run MiniCM7Pro.

No, the order doesn't really matter, but your phone will only work if you pair the right kernel and the right rom together. The ROM post will state which kernel it will run on.
so for:
MiniCM7Pro - Stock Kernel
MiniCM7 - nAa-13 Gingerbread kernel
ArcMiniNxt - Just about every kernel
MiniCM9 - nAa-04 ICS kernel

Just about all roms that state they're based on CyanogenMod (CM) include App2SD by default, all you have to do it activate it in settings.
ArcMiniNxt is a Gingerbread ROM with a sony ericsson framework, so it will look and work a bit like the original firmware, but based on Gingerbread, and it will run on the stock kernel. It seems smooth and easy on battery-life.
MiniCM7 is sort of the 'default' ROM to go for if you want Android look-and-feel, it is further developed than MiniCM7Pro, but you will need the nAa-gingerbread kernel for it. It is also very smooth and fast.
Mind you, nothing is perfect, you can expect some problems with your keyboard layout and keyboard lights on all Gingerbread ROMS, but there are fixes for that if you care to search through the x10minipro development forum

i just installed MiniCM7Pro, rebooted the phone and its now stuck on that android motion logo :S is this normal?
edit: NVM it is normal ahha.. xD i now have it perfectly installed im in love with its interface. i now have to get use to it.
Hi, I am kind of a noob so sorry if breaking any rules in advance.
I had trouble with the touch of my Sony lww, so I followed http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2104484 & tried to install CM9. In the process, I did the following:
#Root my phone using the help from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2118343
#Unlocked bootloader & installed cm9 with the help of the cyanogenMod wiki http://oldwiki.cyanogenmod.org/wiki/Sony_Ericsson_Live_with_Walkman:_Full_Update_Guide
& it worked. For the time being with the trouble of Wifi/2G not working
But when I later tried to use the Cyanogenmod Timescape from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1748576 & the real ICS-r6 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1707876 the phone stays frozen after the bootscreen. I followed every instruction as accurately as I can. Can anyone tell me what's wrong. The touch is horrible when I use the stock rom.
Hello,
Please flash a different kernel as stated on rom thread i.e
Supported Kernels: (for Unlocked Bootloaders): Rage Kernel v3.2, MESA v1.2, KrsH Kernel v3.0(for CM Timescape) &
For Real ics try these : KRsH Kernel ICS (recommended) ,EXtended Stock Kernel, MESA Kernel
If you have already flashed one of the above kernel for the aforesaid roms try to wipe data in cwm and then try installing the rom.
Any more problems, post here :good: All the best.
Press thanks if helped!!

Thanks man,I already did resolve the problem after flashing a few other Kernel. Currently running on Rage Kernel 3.2, everything seems to working fine. Thanks
Btw, when I tried to look for the Kamarush Kernel, it showed the post is removed. Bummer :-|
