You shouldn't loose root. Before I was unlocked I did a factory reset and kept root

Does anyone know whether its possible to sync Tapatalk on my TF201 with Tapatalk on my Galaxy S2 phone - so I can see my favourites on both etc?

If both are rooted you can use TitaniumBackup to back up the app one either device, then restore -> data only on the other device. If you buy the Pro key you can even store stuff directly in Dropbox I think, but could always use your choice of sync/archiving services to do the same manually.
It's a little disappointing that Tapatalk doesn't offer this, or at least some kind of Dropbox or Box integration to do it.

yea thanks for that. Does seem like an obvious failing for an otherwise super app.

Rma questions

I did a quick search and found little information on this, sorry if I missed something.
So I am all set up for my Rma. I was wondering what I had to do as far as unrooting, my bootloader is still locked. How should I unrooting? And is that all I should do along with factory reset.
Thanks!

You pretty much answered your own question. That's all you'd need to do.
Haha well thanks then

Factory reset wipe

Hey I played around on the Gnex forbade while but this seems different...if I use the factory reset wipe in TWRP custom recovery, will it wipe my rom files that I'm about to flash? I guess if I put it on a SD card and remove it, it'll be fine...

Also that won't affect my custom recovery?
Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk 2
Nope ull be okay.

I'd keep root too right?

Yep it wont touch root/recovery.

[Q] Is there any way to downgrade an S4?

I think I know the answer to this but I figured I'd ask. I don't care how hard it is to do, I want to do it!!

No. A qfuse is blown with each upgrade that prevents you from downgrading

As of now, once you take an update there is no way to go back.
