[Q] Is NovaThor SoC developer friendly? - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

So some of the new Sony phones U and P have this ST-Ericsson SoC. Does anyone know if this is a dev-friendly SoC similar to Snapdragon? I am especially interested in seeing something like Cyanogenmod for the Xperia U.
Are there any other phones that have this SoC and have custom roms like CM?

It's not too different from what we've seen before, the A9 CPU and the Mali GPU are used in many devices already. So it shouldn't be too hard to make it work when ICS comes by.

Will Froyo run on Qualcomm MSM 7227 ARMv6 processor?

There are a lot of interesting devices showed up recently, which based on Qualcomm MSM 7227 processor ARMv6.
Its a cheep and very nice processor for its price, and i was going to buy cheep divice, based on it, but there is a question appeared:
Will Android 2.2 Froyo work on this MSM 7227 processor?
Or it will be working only on ARMv7 Snapdragon, Cortex A8 and later processors?
A saw info that froyo works exclusively on ARMv7 processors and better,
аnd will not support ARMv6. Is that true? Or normal/official support of ARMv6 will be added later?
it should run on most proscesors it just will need to be tweaked a litle bit
I don't see why it wouldn't - you might need to compile it yourself though, unless someone already has a rom out for the phone you want.

[Xperia P] Mali-400MP or Adreno 205

I wanted to ask one unresolved question to person who develop ( or maybe looked inside?? ) on Xperia P.
SXP have NovaThor U8500 like everyone know, but...
it have Adreno 205 ( like mentioned in whitepaper ) or Mali-400MP ( like in NovaThor U8500 SoC's ) ??
And if Mali, then how many cores??
I wanted to buy this phone, but need to know this first

Its Mail 400 and it is a single core.
@up: Thanks for an answer, but one more question, it's that single-core Mali-400 enough for every 2012 android games, and maybe for upcoming ones?

It seems to do okay on most releases. It wont be the top of the line graphics but it will play them. The only issue it has had so far is compatiblity which has gotten much better.
Thanks for reply to my questions

bad mouth about mediatek, well i don't think so. mediatek processors should be at par with any other processors but the problem is afaik they dont release their kernel sources and they are still stuck with their sgx 531t gpu which is almost at par with our adreno 205 but not any better. however i might be wrong. i read about this a long time back and i dont remember the exact source.

I'd suggest to move the whole discussion to "Android General". There you will certainly find more people to discuss your particular issues and do not spam this board. Thank you....even if I sound like forum police now

[Q] Someone can port sailfish os to our Xperia Z2

May be we starting porting from nexus 5 port
and ubuntu phone while he's at it.... isn't that much work, ist it? common...
Ubuntu OS may or may not be on its way, depends if the dev wants to finish it or has time
Salfish OS may not happen just because of the lack of information.

No kernel ?? No work on sony Camera chipset?

I wondered why there were still no Kernel (overclocked or not) for this new device while knowing that you can also take advantage of the work done on other devices that are equipped with the same CPU also wondering why you are unable to leverage the work done by Soni on his camera to make the best even with the max of 2 camera that uses the same chipset.
