No it is not.
Questions are supposed to be posted here, not in Development section.
To OP: There is a stock rooted ROM available, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1679658, other way would be via unlocked bootloader and custom kernel(either flashing root .zip file if kernel doesn't give autoroot automatically).
EDIT: Wait, I found this also: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1682224

Is it possible to root without flashing insecure kernel like the SGSII?

I know it's early days and the phone isn't even out yet, but on the SGSII you could root the phone without flashing the insecure kernel, thus avoiding the Triangle or a counter increase on the custom rom count.
The method for achieving this was posted on the thread below.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1501719&highlight=sgs+ii+root
Does anyone know if the same method will work? or be achieved?
Thanks,
Bruno
That sounds like a question...therefore should not be in development
Afaik not yet!
But if you got a S3 you could try this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=24882250&postcount=1
Looking into the .bat and files I couldn't find something that is xperia specific.
Edit: Or this one (might be the same trick)

[Q] Recovery for Xperia Go

Hi !
i'm new on this forum so i'm not allowed to ask devs in dev section. So i ask this question here :
Is there anyway to get CWM on a Xperia Go ?
Thanks for your help !
just a file trough flashtool would be the best
1) Never EVER ask anything in the dev section
2) RTFM

i know i'm not allowed to create a thread regarding this question in the dev section and that wasn't my goal. I wanted to ask krachlatte in his own thread if there is a way to extract his CWM from his kernel, and then apply it trough fastboot. I allready have stock ICS from Sony, i don't need krachlatte Kernel, i just need CWM. But i'm not allowed to post in a dev thread for the moment.

if 2) is linked to 1), don't worry i got it but if you mean there is a manual where i can find how to extract CWM and then apply it trough fastboot for Xperia Go, please tell me where it is

Use credit auto root(full instructions in thread)...then if you need custom recovery flash one of those as well.... again, full instructions will be found in the relevant threads....I use philz touch cwm personally
Both the above can be found in original android development

Try reading the basic stickied faqs and guides in General section first .
Then you may know bootloader is not locked , how to root , how to flash custom roms etc .
jje
problem solved.thanks to all xda.
you can lock the thread.

[how to] unlocked bootloader?

When will the bootloader unlock be made available for everyone? I'm ready
Sent from my Galaxy S4
LOKI doesnt require bootloader unlock and you can still flash recoveries, roms and kernels. Wrong section as well, by the way.
VERY WRONG SECTION

Easiest way to achieve a customer recovery would be to root and then just install goo mananger and install TWRP

Rooting New G900TUVU1BNG3 Firmware

Hey everyone,
This is an FYI if you download the latest tmo OTA update: G900TUVU1BNG3
A friend of mine has the SM-G900T (SGS5 from tmo). He was using TowelRoot to gain root on his phone. Well, after the latest OTA from tmo, TowelRoot doesn't work any longer.
We attempted to root via the GalaxyS5Root.com blog, and that didn't work. Evidently after flashing via Odin, the stock recovery would be restored and PhilzTouch CWM Recovery wouldn't be installed. So, we went another route.
We located a posting about CF's Autoroot posting here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2713950
From there we were able to root his phone via CF AutoRoot's ZIP being flashed by Odin.
Anyway, just thought we'd pass this along.
Thanks,
Johnathan
This may very well be important information, but the question before posting in Development should always be, "Is anything created?" - The answer here is "no" so I've moved this thread to General where it belongs. Any confusion as to the rules, please visit the XDA Rules.
Thanks.
Thanks.
