First, my rom is Stock Lite v6(the best I used so far). I wanted to install the mod(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1581428)
but when i do, my top bar disappears. I was told that this is due to the existing of another 14 toogle mod that i have,so I followed the suggestion to:
1. remove quickpanelsettings.apk from system/app folder and delete lidroid-res.apk from system/framework folder.
2. flash new version of toggles mod
I have tried and it´s still not working. I tried to ask in my rom topic and in the mod topic and no answer was given to me. I know it should work and It must be something that I'm doing wrong, just didn't want to insist(spam) so I'm trying to get my answer here. Sorry if it's stupid. Thank you
ps:the same problem appears when i try to install the updated version of my 14toogles

to remove 14 toggle mod, u need original systemui.apk from ur stock rom. Not just remove quickpanelsetting.apk and lidroid.apk. Because in that systemui.apk, it contains modded smali files. That's the main thing of 14 toggles mod.

Ask the rom creator to give you the systemui file without the 14 toggles mod.

Didnt work. Top bar disappears...
Can anyone help me please?
You try these (i got the 14 toggles, but it crashed a little bit too often and removed it)
1)Look for systemui.apk and framework-res.apk inside the StockLitev6 zip file. Replace both apps in your system/framework and system/apps folders using Root Explorer (maybe backup first?), reboot. Then flash the 14-toggles and its fix again (in the stocklite thread).
2)You can try getting a flashable zip from UOT kitchen with StockLiteV6 original systemui.apk and framework-res.apk (without mods applied) so you can reflash the original status bar any time, and also its great to mess with the framework-res.apk graphics.
3) Last resource, reflash EVERYTHING

Did you set correct permissions? Maybe that's the reason.

About your question, I'd say you need to search a little more.

Yeah... It's a tricky issue. Since device is odexed, all customizations don't work.
Eg. : if you replace only the battery icon/any icon in notification bar by a flashable zip....notification will disappear and will cause lag and graphics disorder in the device.
Solution :
Flash the original system ui.apk. Mere replacing the apk and setting permission might not work.

Isn't it flashing systemui.apk and replacing it, setting permission works same?
During flashing you extract to /system/app and set the permissions.

100% same. But during live replacement it will end up in a tornado of fc on system ui.apk. So I prefer flashing system stuffs to avoid "this and that" fc.

You can try mine, 1% battery mod with the carrier removed from notification bar - stock Rogers JB odexed 4.1.2.
thanks heaps, but I think I need the .odex file too; I've tried yours and no go.
forgot to mention I have a xt925 telstra stock 4.1.2
I'm not too lazy to at least try and do it myself, just "married...with children" and a 10h/day job, that's why I'm willing to pay someone...
thank you

No problems,
Here's the SystemUI.odex from my Rogers 4.1.2 if you want to give it a try (zipped).
There's a few other systemUI's floating around that seemed to work well for others but nothing that worked with my stock Rogers Rom, not sure why so I made this one up more to rid of the irritating carrier name in the notification bar.
thank you, appreciate it, but doesn't seem to work(status bar & buttons dissapear + wallpaper reverts to the original one)
So I also tried it. Stock.. rooted.. unlocked boot loader.. Rogers ROM but I lose my shortcuts n my status bar. Any help ?

finally found one that works on my xt925 stock telstra 4.1.2, with no carrier in status bar and 1% battery.
i've replaced the pngs with some that I've been using previously with BuglessBeast Rom on my old gnex (I don't know the original author to give credit)
it is supposed to work with european carriers too

Thanks, I'm on Telstra too but quick question, how do I install, I've unzipped it but I don't see the apk file?
Cheers
Thanks!!
Im on CEE 4.1.2, and works great!
just delete the .zip extension. I've uploaded from an windows laptop and did not noticed in explorer the double extension
to install it: you need a file manager with root capabiliyies to copy it to /system/app, make sure has the same permissions as the other files.
tip: first rename the existing systemui.apk to something else, just in case you get problems with the new one and want to revert to the original

that crashed my GUI, anyone can confirm which one works on stock fido 4.1.2?

I'm also with Rogers firmware, and using this file I got rid of the carrier but still no 1% mod on the battery
Any idea what might be wrong, or could you maybe check with your phone if this file does indeed have the % mod please? Thank you...
