Hi,
I have a SGSII and I was wondering, which ICS-rom will give me the best battery life?
Only thing i do is whatsapp, twitter, facebook and browsing. I'm using CM9 right now but even when i'm charging the battery drains when using whatsapp heavy. This wasn't even the case with the official Samsung ICS rom. With CM9 i get only 15h of battery life. And that's when i'm not using my phone heavily. Otherwise I'll get 12h.
I never game, use GPS or BT and i always turn of WiFi when i know i don't have any.
I know that the screen is the main source of my short battery life but i asume it could be a lot better since 15h is just way to low.
Thank you erriezeekanmgn.
Either use the search button or find out for yourself.

Hello,
I got a samsung galaxy tab 2 with my Samsung smart TV (the first one with a camera, it was brand new at the time to give you an idea of the age as I cannot remember how old it is) and I have noticed that the battery life drains considerably fast, even when in standby. I have checked the battery usage page and task manager to see if there is anything eating up resources, but cannot see anything in particular. Is it normal for the battery to deteriorate at this age and/or is there anything I can do to improve it?
Thanks in advance for any replies
My desire 601 bit the dust so I'm back to the amaze until the blackberry z30 is on sale. I'm wondering which Rom will give me the best battery life and stability as a daily driver? I don't have the bandwidth to download a bunch of roms to test and don't suggest stock because that gave me terrible battery life and random crashes. I don't need any crazy performance, just enough to listen to music text and use social media. I tried Android revolution 5 and it just gave me more issues, battery drain, system ui has stopped, etc. I'm on the latest version of NRG now and battery is still draining so it may be the battery itself. What do you reccomend? Also which kernel gives ideal battery life?
