Factory Reset then Format USB Storage.
There is no need to start new threads for this. Search.

Yup, factory reset in the USB storage settings will do this.

So, I softbricked my galaxy s3 because I was messing with my efs files....anyway after I flashed back a new stock firmware I have lost all my photos, music and games data.
Can anyone tell me if I can restore them back?
Thanks

Sorry but it is not possible to restore files from a full-wiped S3 since the data partition is for multiple reasons no longer an additional fat32 partition but piggybacking in the system's ext4.
However I want to point out that a full-wipe is only done on the stock recovery, not when using Cwm.

That won't help you, I backed up right before I flashed.

Not all games store their save info in /data. Dead trigger is an example of another that doesn't.

It did help because I haven't lost my game data.I was able to restore with Titanium backup. I can't update but screw the update if it resets data.

FYI. There's a games and apps section in this forum. To discuss games and apps. May wanna move further discussions to a thread there.
They fixed it with the last update, now there's a login. Starting over now with less worries of losing everything.

Sounds like your partitions are messed up. You will have to downgrade to ics and do the camera fix first. Search for a thread in the q&a section.

Maybe you should check with a 3rd party root explorer what you have on your phone and compare the results?
