Hi
i need an app to remotely control my camera in my phone.
I want to click on my pc in a tool which makes my phone take a photo in full resolution.
Like good old normal cameras with remote controls.

I'm looking for an easy way to record my Android's screen without rooting my phone. This will be on my work phone, so I'm not allowed to root it.
I recently found TeamViewer QuickSupport which lets you control an Android phone remotely (see its display and use your keyboard and mouse to interact with it). The way I'm currently recording the screen is by using TeamViewer on my computer to control the phone, and then using a screen capture program on my computer to record the screen.
Surely someone's made an app that uses the same API that TeamViewer uses to retrieve the screen? I mean, TeamViewer is recording it and sending it over wifi with no trouble, so why do actual screen recording apps require root?
Any advice? Does anyone know of any apps that do this?
Thanks!
It seems very complicated, but it must not be so hard to be done

Hi, Im missing universal remote on Note 4. There is Peel remote but it does not contain my VIDO TV and there is no function to just place buttons on layout and map them with original tv remote like on LG Gx phones... is there any 3rd party app that allows it? Cant find one...
Don't know the answer but try this one. It may program with original remote?

ok, I will try ir right now. On LG G2/G3 I had I could just make layout of buttons and point original TV remote to map each button.
Ok, I tried it but not good :/ It has function to record your own remote but its like phone does not receive beam from original remote :/ when select other TV from list e.g. Samsung, everything works :/ maybe note 4 does not has function to receive beam like lg g2/g3 ? :/

In my opinion Peel remote is the best. I am using a JVC 32" tv, only volume and power works at default configuration. But u can troubleshoot the button values. Mine is working at 3rd set of values for the channel change and numbers.
I'm trying to build a device that's going to be a large, unattended screen that will have an app that will be the main app running on this screen. I want the hardware to be small and inexpensive. What I think I need is a essentially a headless android tablet that I could use my own monitor with. I was thinking of developing this as an Android TV app and using an Android TV box or stick as the hardware. This won't have a touch screen, keyboard, or mouse. It will be all self running, or possible controlled by a mobile app or voice control. These are my requirements:
- Boots up right into the main app, but able to launch other TV apps from the main app.
- Able to interface with an add-on camera like the front facing camera on an Android device, which would be controlled by my app to record or just show video to the screen.
- Able to interface with different sensors such as ambient light sensor, motion sensor, IR, ect. (How would I do this? Over USB with an external microcontroller that connects to the sensors?)
I'm trying to find the best platform to develop this on. I know how to do it with a Windows machine, but don't have a ton of experience with Android. Would Android TV be a good platform or are there better options?
I have two of these phones lying around. Though slow and dated, the device still boots up and the battery life is not too bad either. I have been trying to see if there is some way I can put these devices to use. Some of the suggestions I saw online were using it as a remote controller (limited use since the phone does not have IR blaster), alarm clock, calendar, security camera (con - camera is not that great), Internet Radio (con - sound not that great), photo frame.
Any other uses that you have found for this phone

I haven't done this, yet, but i believe this is best way to utilize old devices until desktop mode becomes mature and supporting hardware comes to the market.
1) Buy wireless keyboard(probably with trackpad) which can support your device and a descent screen enlarger.
2) Install app like Sentio Desktop or anything else to give it desktop like feel.
3) Use it for watching videos or web browsing (landscape mode with "Request desktop site").

You can use it as Dash-Cam in your Car.
Though I am open for better inputs myself.
