Calling AT&T customers. - HTC EVO 3D

I'm currently running Virus's sense 4.0 rom, whenever I try to call At&t customers the calls always go to "the number or code you have dialed is incorrect". Has anyone else had this problem? Is it something I can fix or something on the sprint side?

Man, I can't even send them regular texts. The only thing they can get from me is picture mail. So I always gotta send something stupid in order to communicate with them.

Well your first mistake is being an att subscriber
As for the rom id wipe and reflash and see if that solves your issue

He's not an att subscriber he's referring to the people whom he sends texts and mms to. @op I really don't think there's anything you can do from your end.

Major problems?

I dont have an eris.....yet but i'll be moving over to my dads verizon plan in a few weeks and i'll take his old eris and he'll probably get a incredible.
So i must ask, he says it does what it wants, makes calls, doesnt send or recive texts, stuff like that. And hes on his second eris.
And they supposidly started happening after the 2.1 update.
So, would a new rom fix these issues if present?

Root it and try a different ROM.
You said it don't send/receive texts? Check the plan to make sure it's not blocked? Otherwise I would say that you need to *228.
Well, i know he has a full unlimited plan.
As for a new rom i have not used the phone yet.
And *228? Sorry never seen/heard that before.

*228 and option 2 updates the phones "roaming capability* which should be done probably every month or so to ensure good signal quality.

People can't hear me incoming/outgoing calls occasional glitch

Anyone else have this issue.
I have a problem when people call or when I call them. It only happens sometimes, but I can hear them and they can't hear me. I thought maybe it had something to do with using google maps/gps or a problem with google voice. It happens on my normal # and my google voice #.
Anyone else have this problem. I am rooted, had stock, stock debloated, and now Virus ROM, and it has happened on all 3. Should I go back to stock and go request a new phone from verizon?
I would, just for the fact that you will get a NEW phone, not a like-new phone. You know you can root it and get everything back, might as well get a brand new phone while you can.
Check their carrier. I have always had this when people with ATT call me on Verizon. I'm not sure which carrier as at fault .. but I haven't had this issue with anyone that didn't have ATT. And my friends sub ATT have had this issue only with Verizon. Seems weird, but I've noticed this happening to a large group of my friends ... And it just started to happen recently. Happened on my dinc and its still happening on my thunderbolt

Carrier Flashers

I flashed this device to verizon and it worked fine until i ran a program called wifi kill. Idk what the program did but it reverted all of my flash information back to sprint. So i had the flash redone again and now Im having issues.
I can make calls and send texts but i cannot receive the calls. The calling phone gets the ringing tone but the HTC does not ring at all. also I cannot receive texts. I text myself and the texts only come in when I make an outgoing call on the device or when i first torn on the device, the texts come in but after 10 seconds, no more texts enter the phone.
Can anyone help or have any clue to why this has happened?
And my data is working fine. 3G
Do you have the Verizon prl installed? Other than that it might be screwy bc you're not supposed to be on that network. Verizon doesnt recognize your number?
I'm sure you have heard it all before, but sprint can terminate your account for doing what you're doing.
i got it all sorted out. No i dont have an account with sprint. I specifically bought this phone to flash it. I bought it with a bad esn.

What did it end up being?

Late Texts: Sending & Receiving

Predicament: Texting people and they won't receive my text or I won't receive their texts until about an hour later. I have not upgraded my SIM to the newest one yet. I am S-Off NRGZ Stock Look. Just wondering if upgrading the SIM will fix that issue or do you guys think it could be a network issue?
If it's any merit the person I'm texting is an AT&T iPhone 4 user. I'm T-Mobile.
Thanks

Seems network issue.
It's frustrating because it's a chick I'm trying to, you know, and sometimes I think she's ignoring me..lol but she says she replied and she even sent me a screen shot of her reply. It's happening more and more and its sucking! Just for ****s and giggles I'm going to upgrade my SIM today to the one that came in the box.
use to happen to me on my old phone network, its a network issue, either u or hers.. id say contact your carrier and have them run tests to figure out the problem.. they can send diff types of msg's to see how long it takes you to receive them, or maybe you need to do some troubleshooting steps from them... idk.. but hopefully its a network issue

[Q] + (plus) problem when receiving calls

I'm using AT&T Prepaid line on a Galaxy Note 2 Verizon (I605). At the beginning, I used it without any problem around a month. Later on, I started to receive all the calls that beginning with +. It's just adding +, not +1. Let's say I'm receiving call from 9721234567. I see that number +9721234567 on the screen. When I try to call back, It's trying to make international call and it says "you don't have enough money on your prepaid account."
I did factory setting and custom rom many times but still same problem going on. I putted my SIM card to my friend's Note 2 AT&T, the problem is solved.
I wish I can switch to Verizon Prepaid since the phone is for Verizon but I couldn't find out how to do that. If any one knows, let me know please, I'll switch right away. Otherwise I have to solve the problem. Does anyone has an idea why it's happen? I did many research about this but I couldn't find anything. Thank you.
So, no body knows anything about it?

Most people here are using Verizon which uses a totally different network than AT&T which is why you're not getting much response.
If the phone is adding "+" to the number, it thinks you are in a different country. So some things to check:
Settings->Date and time
make sure you are showing the correct date and timezone, and getting them from the network if possible
Settings->More Settings->Mobile Networks
(1) make sure Network Mode is GSM/UMTS for AT&T
(2) check Access Point Name and associated APN data is correct for AT&T - this shouldn't affect voice, but you never know
Just some friendly advice. I know you want an answer, but when people see you bumpin your own thread everyday, they tend not to respond.

Pardon me, I don't know how this things works. My friend advised me this website for my problem with my phone. He was telling me "write something and your post will go up otherwise it will go next pages and no one will see it." So, that's what i was doing, I'm sorry about that (
