Well... A single 5mp camera is 2560x1440 why cant it support 1080p atleast in 2d... I KNOW 3D is more proccess intensive than 2d but we should be able to record 1080p 2d with this hardware

The camera mod is for higher bitrate which is good but not what we need and also. They have a 8mp and no 3d wouldn't work for us....

Hi, I connected my lg mytouch to my hd TV and turned USB on. The TV recognized it so I started to play some short movies from it. To my surprise the video quality sucked, I thought I must have recorded it in standard definition by mistake but I checked the details and it said 1280 x 720. Why is it crappy? Is it the phone?

But I changed to 720p from 1080p, makes minimal blurry!!
So i was looking through the settings on my video recorder, and the highest resolution i can select is 720 x 480? Any suggestions?

its maybe broken.. you should have no issue running it at 1080p with the stock cam.. let alone selecting that setting from the cam or video option.

are you using a corporate email accout? My job limits the resolution of video recording capabilities on my phone as on of their requirements. ( doesnt make sense to me since we cant bring our phones inside our grounds anyway)
Do you have your phone encrypted? Encryption limits the recording to 720p.

Is there an app that can slow down certain parts of a recorded video from your phone. TIA
