Nova Prime, Destop Visualizer, Simi Folder Not Playing Nice? - Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE

I'm using Nova Prime and Desktop visualizer along with Simi Folder to create this look:
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Problem is that every time I do anything -- unlock the phone, open a folder, etc., the screen refreshes everything, I see the little hourglasses, and I have to wait a split second for all of the icons to return. It's not the end of the world, but it does disrupt the experience some.
Anyone have an idea on what's happening, and whether there is a workaround?

I'm using Nova Prime and Simi widget with no issues. Maybe desktop Visualizer is the culprit.

it also happen to me im not using desktop but it does refresh when i unlock i do use golocker though

I've been continuing to mess around with this, and I'm disappointed to report that nova appears to be the culprit. Tried the exact same configuration using adx ex and it works fine without any refresh. Quite bummed because I had been loving nova so far. Oh well.

Had that same issue, moved to APEX and its been working much better.
I however was using desktop viz and mclock and minimalistic text ( which has also been giving me trouble saving profiles)

SMS/GMAIL/Missed Call Widget

Hi Everyone,
I've seen a really nice widget floating around that was designed using Tasker for notification on your lock screen, in tandem with widget locker. It's simple text based widget with 3 rows, one for each notification. I was wondering if anyone has come across a similar themed widget designed outside of Tasker? I don't have a lot of use for Tasker and am hesitant to spend 6.99 on it, for one use. It looks like what you can see on the homescreen in the following image.
Thanks!

you can use go launcher ex with go launcher ex notification to get sms/gmail/missed called count.
I am actually quite suprised there is no widget for this.
I know, right?! It seems like such a basic widget?

Does Gmail App provide an API so other apps know that you have new unread email?
If you only want to see your last call, missed call, unread text message, etc, give “Last Call Widget” (on Market) a try.
Get SMS Unread Count from market. Widgets for sms, email, and calls. Can use custom icons also.

The screenshot provided looks a little like "missed it" from the Android Market isn't it??

Need a 2x1 widget for my homescreen - Ideas?

Okay guys. I have this huge gap on my home screen that needs filled, preferably with a widget of some sort. Anything goes (I've used elixir etc). Just trying to fill it up. Here's what I've got

System Tuner Pro or one of those other Overclocking/monitoring apps?
maybe a music player? Or you could use the power control widget and resize it to fit right there.

I've had setcpu there before but when you touch the widget it opens the program and I somehow overclocked my phone high enough to cause it to reboot so it got stuck in a circle. Learned my lesson from that one. Any other ideas?
Blizzard Mobile Authenticator?
Mini info widget

Get a new home screen, LOL
Throw a music, or system tuner widget in there and good to go, or make more space,
Shot from my sharp shooter in 3d
check out an app called "screen off and lock"... should be one of those spaces
then throw a 1x1 system tuner pro shortcut right there for the CPU settings or something.

Digital desk clock on home screen.

I would like for the fullscreen desk clock with the digital clock and weather to be on my home screen vs the flip clock anyone know how I could get it?
Thanks in advance,

Check out "animated weather widget "
In the market.
Other options are diferent Rom, or maybe a launcher like the one I use sometimes called "go launcher ex".
Total custumization of your dt, also can change the locker.
Do some research , there's tons of clock widgets.

here's the screen I was trying to get, seems to be a custom HTC thing but can't really use it for some reason.

it does work in dock mode, however I would like to use it as a widget on my home screen of my phone, It's probably not something you can do I did go with an app from the market though that gives me what I was basically looking for without those 2 extra features near the bottom it was called AK digital clock widget.
however I still think it would be awesome to get that as a place-able widget on the home screen.

[HTC Home] Widgets for your PC desktop, this isn't for the phone

http://www.htchome.org/en/features/
I don't know if anyone came across this application before on their PC. It's basically that identical Sence Clock with the weather forecasts on it that many people like to have as a widget on their phones. Except this thing runs on the PC but isn't installed like the regular gadgets on windows 7 or in vista.

Each widget is a separate program and so each widget provides their own multiple set of styles
Plus there are add on that are provided to enable sounds, animations, change widget theme to weather condition, change desktop wallpaper to weather condition.
Being someone who constantly flashes his phone daily multiple times, sometimes more than a dozen times, its impossible to keep any configured settings for any layouts or styles for homescreen\app drawer. I just gave up on changing that stuff on my phone but it's surely a nice little thing to have on my desktop where I do a lot of work. It's a little slice of the playing with widgets on the phone and has a nice look to the widgets too. Plus it's nice to always know what the weather is going to be like and not look at the task bar to check the time.
Here is how I set it up on my desktop
Here is a demonstration on youtube of how it looks like when running
Just to state for the record that I am not taking any credit for anything relating to this software application that respectively reserves the rights of the it's developer. I just ran into this application somewhere online and thought it was interesting to throw on my desktop since I spend more time on it than on the phone. It's the best looking widget with the best most useful options available from all the gadgets available for Windows 7 that I think are useless. So I'm just sharing this find with anyone else that's wanted to have this type of gadget on the desktop in win 7 but can't find a nice one to keep on the desktop without being annoyed by it soon after.

Question What causes this bug where homescreen is blank? Anyone else get it?

Sometimes the homescreen fails to load. It just shows the wallpaper and status bar. Normally there are widgets and apps. Any idea why? I'm using Nova Launcher but on other phones it worked fine.

it's a weird bug with the pixel 6/Android 12 and third party launchers, I experience the same thing with Niagara launcher and have yet to find any solution to it
YES!! I thought I was the only one experiencing this. Also using Nova and 12L on Pixel 6.
Make sure that you are using Nova launcher version 7.0.57

Looking at your home screen and the notifications. It looks like you have a lot running tasks in the background.
Find out which app or mod is interfering with Nova.
I am using Nova with root and the basics, without issues.
I have the same issue in a ZTE Axon 40
Everytime I swipe up to go home, if I make a quick press after the swipe, the home screen goes blank nd I have to swipe up again to recover the icons and widgets
