I have Xda premium but every threads pictures do not show at all. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Works some of the time on mine. Think it has something to do with the xda app/tapatalk. Was fine before updated a while back. I found that if you rrotate the phone from portrait to landscape(or vice versa) with the blank picture frame on screen, the picture will appear. (last 2 photos). There is discussion thread on this from a couple of months ago.

I'm seeing intermittent results with images as well. I loaded this thread and could see the image in the first reply but none in the subsequent reply. Clicking on the unviewable images only brought up the menu.
However, rotating from portrait to landscape and back at least allowed me to then click on an image (although it still didn't render) and see the image as a pop-up. Weird.

or whenever somebody posts youtube links, i can never see those (when they embed them)

Nice, rotating got them to load or at least be clickable and they loaded when I clicked.
I usually just open in overskreen browser if it's a pic heavy thread.

Same problem with me. Bugged me enough that I bought the paid tapatalk app (not xda premium) and have had absolutely zero problems since.

I owned Tapatalk then purchased xda premium to show my support but back to Tapatalk it is. However, its disappointing that in trying to support xda, I end up with an inferior product.

There is no problem in viewing the images. The images are loading properly on page and on click also. Potrait and landscape mode both are working fine.
Exit the app and restart it. It might help or if just restart your phone. May be it would help...

Actually there is. I own both Tapatalk and xda premium. Image threads always have problems in xda premium. Tapatalk has far fewer. It doesn't matter if you restart the app, reboot the phone or whisper sweet nothings to one or the other. The problem persists.

If you made any optimizations to the settings, tell them I think many people are eager to know what you did to get such a nice pictures.
Or some people can help you with those settings if your pictures are coming out bad.
Could you please upload it to a website like www.imageshack.us , www.photobucket.com or the alike?
Keeps the picture big if you use direct link + we wont use too much space of XDA and we dont need to manually shrink/cut them.
End result is that we have a nice gallery to look at when we scroll through it.

What do you mean? I have slightly adjusted the settings but I took it with stock app at the pool ..the upload doesn't do it justice..the picture is.pretty amazing for a cellphone..in the right settings the.e3d can take really nice photos..look in the photon general forum..they have a picture thread and I.think they look bad although I've heard It's better

Yeah I notice that picture looks great, I was wondering how you got so close and the bee didn't move, I haven't seen the photon 4g forum yet but i don't really care I'm happy with my phone and yeah moving settings helps to makes it look even bettwr

Me and the queen are cool that's why he didnt move.. jk I got lucky I took like 3 or.4 pics and they all.came out good..one major improvement is the macro shots..I think that with some software fixes that our camera can be great .

The lens will adjust is not completely macro but it works amazing with some close ups like roses and bugs, I'm happy wit it

That's weird because I'm not experiencing the horrid green hue anymore because of this new update. Try doing what the guy above me said.
That's not the green shift. That's just image noise due to the poor (low) lighting. If you had the green shift, the whole couch would be green instead of a noisy mix of green and purple.

The green is gone on my phone also after the update.
Took a lot of test shots last night.
The only time I could get the green was in very low light trying to photo a distant object. The flash on the phone is only good for a few feet away.
Tried using different setting then used default with jpo instead of mpo file type.

Fixed mine too. Is anyone aware of a list that tells us everything that HTC fixed in this update? I originally thought that the icon issue was resolved too, but it's resurfaced.
Reflashed three times and its still there. I do , however, get an error when flashing. Something about format and blk dev/block/something something......
Any ideas?

That happens to me too for moving apps to SD card which is weird cause my nexus s doesn't have it maybe is the sense launcher

the problem with threads like these is that it is mixed with people who know about photography/cameras and people who don't.
if you are shooting indoors -- this is always considered low light. you can turn on all the lights in your house, but it will be nowhere as bright as the sun outside. shots indoors are generally going to be poor unless you know what you are doing.
if you are getting green hues (without the flash), then set your white balance to the appropriate light (ie fluorescent if you are in the bathroom with fluorescent bulbs).
These are good examples of the green hue I was having before. One is taken outdoor with adequate lighting at about 6pm. There was plenty of sun out still. Sun didnt set till 8:30pm. Garage door is supposed to be cream and driveway your regular gray unpainted. The next image is indoor with a 60w flourecent lighting. That blanket is supposed to be brown, closet doors and my sock lol are white. The walls are green though.
This first one below at night with flash. After that is the same floor as my first post under my office desk with the power strip.
So you dont have to go back to the first page here is the shot after the update that I posted in the beginning. Same floor as above just different corner.
I understand the difference between indoor and outdoor lighting, but first of all: the auto white balance should already change it for, hence the name "auto". And second : my og EVO, my old mytouch, and my blackberry never had this problem. I've only seen it on the 3vo.
And I really would like to know if the update DIDN'T fix the issue for anyone else. Thanks.

Now if I tap on the exact spot on the other side even almost to the far corner opera opens. Is anyone else having this issue with their phones?

UPDATE: I just went to best buy to see about exchanging my note for a new one. I tried the touch test on 6 of their phones 4 demo and 2 brand new out of the box and they all have this problem. I'm hoping Samsung fixes this soon so I can get a new one.

Go to *#0*# on your phone , do the touch and s pen tests and see how far your screen recognizes to the edges. It will tell you right where it doesn't pick up

Yup that is exactly what mine looks like i tried with my finger and s pen and could not get any response from that bottom right corner or very bottom. DAMMIT! i wonder if they made a bad batch or if all of them are like this

Test the outermost edges.
The bottom i understand...the skyrocket had constant issues with registering screen touches as capacitive button touches...that space may fix that

I have the same issue. Just tested it. I hit the applications button like seven times in a row this morning and it wouldn't launch. Now I know why. WTF can't we ever get a phone that doesn't have some sort of issue. UGH!

Funny you say that as I hadn't at the time. Although having said that, I did notice about an hour later.... I'll just blame the recent snow and apologize now.
I'm on Task & Ktoon's AOKP, I downloaded "4.2Camera_t04.zip" from this xda thread. Photosphere now works but can't seem to record video. Also attempting to take a time lapse video makes the app FC.
You guys experiencing this as well?

I don't know about timelapse - will have to look fior it.

Just tested front camera and that works.
So video not working on rear camera and time lapse causes fc. Everything else works great.
Bonus: here's a new version of the 4.2 keyboard. Much faster and smoother then leaked one and it looks just like the one in the videos.

Ok so now that we have photosphere we should start posting up some pics. To see if you can get some good looking pics.
Currently the only way I know how to share photosphere pictures are via google+ so let the links begin!!!

It would be sweet if somehow they can wrap these pictures in a 360 degree and be able to roll around them in an app like you can in google maps street view to look like your actually in the picture looking around. These pics look wacky by themselves.

Yea it needs a universal app so u can look around. But on google+ it let's u like on streetview just click the photosphere icon and it switches to streetview mode.

I think that's on the horizon. They're making it to where you can make submissions to Google Maps Street View so that user content can be there.

I have noticed that when you hold down the camera button now it opens the new camera not the stock camera. I never use that way of opening the camera so it doesn't matter to me.

My camera button opens the sense 4.5 camera but it has a delay to it

So far the only photospheres I can view as actual photospheres are from Juan Suarez....
I'm guessing that the hacked versions are missing something to be viewed that way.

In order to view the pictures in photosphere u must open the 4.2 gallery and tap on the little icon on the bottom. In order to share them online so far you must upload them to google+ which supports photosphere

It needs to be uploaded to Google+ in order to view it in sphere mode I believe. Open in the 4.2 gallery and share to G+ from there. Go to your G+ timeline and share the link (presuming you uploaded it as public).

you got it man! photosphere seems to be abit rough so far though
I hadn't even known until this thread that photospheres were viewable on G+.
Thanks for alerting me to the fact that what I thought was being seen as a flat, cool and kinda trippy looking picture was actually a tour of my living room looking a mess!
