Dude, if you doesn't back up your mmcblk1p18 than there's no help.
I bet you got no backup, because you ask about this failure so > NO HELP FOR YOU AND FOR ME

Not backup your mmcblk1p18
thanks
I've asked our service in Germany, what is my solution. They answered' i've to change my board and it will cost 259€. I can buy an new Phone for that Money, so that's no solution for me
Gesendet von meinem XT910 mit Tapatalk 2
Wait for the official SBFs to release. If that won*t help you can still send your phone to repair. But I guess there will be another solution..
Edit> This seems to be an solution! Flash the ebr file from GB ---> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1709431
Edit: Sorry, just for LATAM with CID backup... but maybe it helps a bit
Come on Dtrail, we both know there won't be an solution. Also FastbootFiles won't change anything.
My failure was, to try your Root Method before it was confirmed on XDA. First time i read an word about the mmcblk1p18 was, after i confirmed that it's working. Before that we where just talking about booting over BP for an while. Nothing about forever...
Lesson i've learned > just trust XDA/DroidRzR

Is an mmcbkl18 backed up from a rooted ICS 4.04 as good as one from a GB rom ?.
I am asking because i only backed up after updating to the ICS EU retail leak and now i want to update to the new CN.en from China.
btw my original rom was Asia retail.
Sent from my XT910 using XDA Premium App
The mmcblk1p18 is unique and depends on your Motherboard. So it doesn't matter, what rom you're using. The blk1p18 should be the same. That's why my only way is to change the board.
Some users backed up their blk1p18 from T-Mobile Leak and restored it successfully on the EU Leak. So you should be safe. Just be sure it got 512kb if i remember right.
Edit: Maybe a nice guy can confirm that before you try anything. I'm just an User that play with his toy and try to learn. You know what i mean . There're some Android Profs here, that know more about this stuff than i do

Just have a look on our group threads, and also what frasertag said before you talk about there is no solution! We don't know it exactly, but it seems to be possible as soon as we get an fullflash SBF. And I've got also another idea, but therefor we need the fullflas SBF first..So just chill until we get these files, then we'll see.
Edit: and don't say I haven't warned you before..

You did a favour to mqny others with testing to restore p18 backup from another device. After that we knew exactly that it doesn't work.

You MUST restore your personal CID. Each device has its own special Customer ID. You really should take care of what you're doing with your device...
Let's look for a solution: How did you wipe your CID? If you used BMM for that, your CID should be located on your sdcard / sdcard-ext in a folder called "clockworkmod/Firmware". You can restore it manually by using dd command in Terminal or adb. The easy way would be to install/use BMM. Just reboot into recovery, select "Firmware Flashing" and "Restore CID, now navigate to your clockworkmod-folder, select the file called "CID_xxx_xx..." (xx stands for a date or similar) and confirm with "Yes". MAKE SURE you have a kernel installed which matches your region!!
If you lost you backed up CID, there is unfortunately no way back...

Well, IF he's got his backup..
Temporary (and forever) solution; Keep BMM installed and let it bypass the CID-Error

To boot into the System with an erased CID you have to choose BPTools in your Bootloader (Where you select AP Fastboot)
After that you can root (Always use BPToos during the reboots) and install BMM.

Wait!
I found that htc's cid can be edited by fastboot.
And the command above proved that cid has no sign-check.
So if we can getvar it from a p18 phone (allow-mbmloader-flash-mbm)
And we edit it directly from fastboot......
Now we just have to confirm that if fastboot disabled the cid writing.

Yes I did, I boot in to BP Tools and it started, but continuously reboots and it's impossible to root because there is no time to do it.

Has anyone tried to use this method to downgrade the LATAM Razr from the T-mo (not Chinese) 4.0.4 to GB?

Flash it via AP fastboot.
- Plugin your Razr, reboot into AP fastboot
- be sure that the kernel boot.img file is in the same foler like the fastboot.exe (or moto-fastboot.exe or eprj-mfastboot.exe, whatever you use)
- open up an command prompt, browse to thet directory which contains the files and type:
fastboot flash boot xx
Click to collapse
the xx means the name of the boot.img file name. If you want to flash the "boot44.img" then type that name instead of xx:
fastboot flash boot boot44.img
Click to collapse
fastboot means, when you use moto-fastboot, you should type moto-fastboot instead of fastboot
Example for using moto-fastboot.exe and boot44.img:
moto-fastboot flash boot boot44.img
Click to collapse
If there is displayed something like:
sending...OKAY
writing....OKAY
then everything went fine!
got it?
I'll try it later
Thanks!!!
- added new kernel and radio from 676.226.3.en.EU
- added init.d tweaks

Urgent help needed guys. :crying:
I installed an unofficial CM10 port on the second system of the BootMenu, and got a bootloop upon restarting.
Now, after I boot into stock recovery, select the AP Fastboot and try to flash from RSDLite, i get this error
"cdt.bin" (flash "cdt.bin" -> Phone returned FAIL
I was running the EU ICS leak on the first system before that.
Please tell me what to do, I'm badly stuck. Its really an emergency.
Is there an CM10 build for the Razr?
You tried to wipe Data in Stock Recovery first, before you use RSD? (I guess it won't help much)
You're not able to boot into BM Recovery, right?
The Boot Menu shows and warning, before you rebooted your device, why did you boot?
You now got an CDMA Rom on your RazR (not even sure, if it's an RazR Rom)
That's not easy to fix i think. When RSD won't work it's strange. Your RazR is an EU Device?

I installed the RAZR CM10(DHacker's unofficial, it was CDMA now i realize) in SECOND system, so the hijack was still intact. It didn't give me a warning before rebooting!
My razr is asia retail, but was working perfectly fine on EU leak.

" error in /tmp/sideload/package.zip
(Status 7)"
cdt.bin is an signature failure like you get, when you flash an wrong region rom or try to downgrade.
If you're in Bad trouble you got an higher secure level now. But I'm not sure, if it really can happen through an Custom Rom?
Never faced such an Problem by using an Custom Rom, so I guess it's an Region problem.
What can you lose by trying one of these Roms? I read the Thread and it seems that this are full flash Roms. So they will delete everything on your RazR (even the internal SD)

BTW: Which Rom you tried to flash with RSD?

YOU WERE RIGHT!
The fastboot of my region worked. Thanks a lot HSD-Pilot. Its flashing now! God bless!
Yeah, as I thought. And I'll bet, the ICS EU Rom will work, too.
I think you tried an GB Rom @ the first flash.
But now I'm glad it works for you. Set your RazR up and charge your battery, before you try anything else

Sure, will try. Really appreciate your help man.
No Problem, that's why we're here. To keep things going. Although I can learn a lot by helping other people out of trouble.
We can't help everybody, but when we got time, why not.

Be patient, please, and let me explain.
My new device never worked fine. Never was able to use wifi or bluetooth, so i made everything I could imagine or you, people, helped me. Nothing worked.
So i asked help the seller and told me a lot of foolish advices, just to avoid the issue. He did not response by the issue. So I was ... you know... f(censored).
Then i saw a thread. Some Motorola G had same issue, and fixed by copying a file at persist folder. You had to be root to find it. So i tried to root. Nothing happened. Nor by abd or anything else. Finally I installed Cuoco... but device did not root!
I am begging to suspect a fake. If this would be a fake, root and firmware (to wifi and BT) could not work fine, right?
Is it possible? Can they lock root? If not, why can not root? Conspiracy?
Thanks.
root thew phone, flash twrp, flash a aosp or los rom and see if it still doesnt work

Last option:
Use the qfil unbrick rom for debricking . I
Would be surprised if it worked with a clone.

I used qfil a lot of times. Yes, it makes the phone alive, but issues remain: no possible root, no wifi, no BT.

The issue is most likely the efs partition of your phone cause neither qfil nor a custom rom are going to touch it. I don't know how you will be able to manipulate this partition (modemst1 and modemst2) without root

I hope nothing serious. Best wishes of health.
If you use antutu benchmark it proposes to install officer app that checkes device is original. You can also use other hardware checking tools. Try install some Android 7 eg Resurrection Remix that comes with preinstalled magisk which is newest method of rooting.
