You don't need to flash the old GB bootloader to your phone.
If you thin kyou need it for the USB Jig to work properly, in ICS you only need TriangleAway app from Chainfire (=> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1494114&highlight=triangleaway) to remove the yellow triangle and reset the flash counter.
So, just flash the CF-Root kernel and use TriangleAway app ... and be happy !

You can refer to this just instead of the given firmware link you have to download a firmware of your country..

Hm. First of all, booting simply means restarting your phone. Reduction of RAM is normal when you update to ICS 4.0 as more memory is required for the system functions which you are not allowed to access.
You can overclock your processor if speed is what you are looking for (but this would require rooting and stuff)
Or if you are adamant on switching back to an older version (which will give you more ram) you can switch back to Gingerbread 2.3.6 which is the version that was in use before ICS 4.0.
Google for Gingerbread 2.3.6 for your phone, or you can check out this link if you like.
Simple process really. The site will ask you to download a file which will contain the gingerbread .tar extension file and odin. Odin is a software through which you can install firmware updates.
So first completely turn off your phone (wait for the vibrate at the end as a confirmation that its completely off)
Next boot your phone into Download Mode. (Press Volume down + the home button/center buttom + power button and hold all 3 for 3 seconds)
Once you are in download mode, open up odin on your computer and connect your phone to you computer via the USB cable. A box on the middle left of odin should turn yellow (if not, the drivers for your mobile are not properly installed on your computer)
Next, click on the PDA button and search for the .tar extension file you downloaded and select it.
Then just hit start.
P.S - Dont tick or untick any boxes in Odin. Leave the default ticked boxes as they are and just hit start.
Once its done, congratulations, your back to 2.3.6 Gingerbread.
A friend send me a Samsung Galaxy SII GT-9100 from Luxembourg. The mobile is rooted. It has Gingerbread.XXK13, version 2.3.5 , os archit : Armv71, Os kernel : Linux , and Pc code Gt-I9100LKAKOR. So I put a number on the screen and find out the original version was Phone MS2 CSC LS2LUX, PDA LSW. I had a change hide my root from Superuser so I can download throught Odin 3-1.85 the official firmware for Luxembourg Jelly bean 4.1.2 (I live in Greece and Kies supportes Jelly bean 4.1.2 but when I plug in the mobile Kies was recognizing it was rooted and says no update ) Anyway I tried to flash and Odin says Added with yellow but then I place PDA from Lux and its not working, odin is freezing and I have to close it. And from the first time and then my phone starts to have a signal that is overheated even if it cold. and It dosent rebboot only if it is at socket and charges.
Any help how I will escape overheating problem and do the update correct ??
thank you !

dont try flashing a rom using odin but flash a custom kernel instead
siyah v6.0b5 would be the best option to start and then try flashing the rom using the recovery

use the following link mate for flashing the kernel i suggested
http://www.google.co.in/url?q=http:...iA4ZzA&usg=AFQjCNEyxoN6ZrQnShBzL3rSb4aKGkJGyw
And then this to flash a rom of your choice
Get into CWM
Power off the phone.
Hold down the Volume Up button at the same time as your hold the power button and home button until the phone vibrates once. As soon as the phone vibrates once release the power button while continuing to hold Volume Down
Step 1: Understanding CWM, usage.
Before doing anything, navigate to "Backup and Restore" and select backup and confirm. This is known as a nandroid backup. If you ever are caught in a bind you will navigate here and select Restore instead of Backup in this menu.
Now is play time without many worries. Restart back into the normal Android system and gain access to your internal SD card via USB on your computer. Copy your ROM to "the root" of your SD card.
Restart back into CWM.
You're ready to flash, but right before flashing any ROM perform the following steps:
Select wipe data/factory reset and confirm
Select wipe cache partition and confirm
Select advanced - wipe dalvik cache and confirm
Select install zip from SD card
Select from internal SD card or wherever you placed it.
Select the ROM file and confirm.
Once the bottom line says complete you'll have access to the menu to select Go Back and then Reboot system now.
All done!
Gud luck mate
Read well before you start
Hello,
My friend has given me his S3 to try and fix. The phone will turn on, however it doesn't boot into the Home Screen. All this happened after he received a message about the phone being corrupted. I have tried a few things to fix it:
Attempted to recover the phone using Samsung Kies (in Kies > Tools > Firmware Upgrade and Initialization) - however it does not "connect" to the phone.
The PC does see the phone - Odin recognizes it.
Tried to use Odin to flash a Stock Rom / Firmware - Odin tells me I'm missing a PIT file.
Can't access the phones recovery - only the download mode when turned on.
So I'm pretty much stuck with only using Odin or something similar to try and flash the phone. My issue with Odin is that it doesn't flash zip files, so I'm trying to workout a way to get this phone back up and running but I'm out of ideas.

But wanna root it..
So should i again try changing cables or any other problem..
Pls help here
hey guys )
so, a week ago i received the update for android Oreo 8.0.0 for my S7 (Model = SM-G930FD) and after updating i found that the phone was slower than before and was lagging slightly. I decided to downgrade it back to Nougat. I downloaded Odin and the 7.0 firmware from Sam Mobile.
i put the phone in download mode (Vol down+home+power) and plugged it in. There were multiple files in the folder (AP,CP,CSC etc). i tried with just the AP and all files (BL in BL, AP in AP, CP in CP and Home_CSC in CSC) but everytime i get an error "Complete(Write) Operation Failed"
after the first fail (by loading every file in its respective field) i restarted the phone, it didn't boot up and instead went into "an error has occured while updating the device software. Use the emergency recovery function in the smart switch PC software"
smart switch is also not recognizing my phone. Since then i have tried multiple times but its the same in every try
i can still go into download mode.
any help would be HIGHLY appreciated
Thanks in Advance,
Umaid

okay i'll download the firmware you've suggested and try with the same procedure. Btw i've been trying with this "G930FXXU1DQLF_G930FOJV1DQLF_PAK" firmware. can you tell what might have gone wrong with this one?
If you use this G930FXXU1DQLF_G930FOJV1DQLF_PAK you may brick it for good.
Go to sammobile and use germany DBT firmware. That is what i use in many phones when i want to flash them.
