Benchmark Results .28 - Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime

All benchmarks I run show no improvement under .28. Quadrant is much worse as I got 4900 on .21 and the highest I can get now is a 3700...and that's while overclocked to 1.6ghz. Not sure what has changed to cause this but WOW that's a big shift!
Sent from my Transformer Prime TF201 using XDA Premium HD app

Yeah, this is another failed update to TF201. At first I thought it was performing better, but I think that was the 'update placebo'. I'm noticing more lag and benchmarks are doing worse as well.

No improvement?
I've got Over 5100 in Quadrant. Rooted, overclocked to 1600Mhz.

I have got around 4200 in quadrant, that sits just above where the average tf201 sits. But what has to be done to achieve what the One X gets. I know the I/o and storage may change but the CPU and graphics should be about the same right, its basically the same Tegra 3 isn't it?

With .21 and previous firmware versions I got 11.600 as max score for Antutu. Overclocked to 1.6 ghz and CFG as governor (ATP tweak).
With .28 I score 12500 points. Surely a significant improvement!
p.s.: I have better scores with cfg over noop.

I've just benchmarked my Prime on .28 and got 13201 on Antutu and 5182 with quadrant.
I have an issue with the camera at the moment so ASUS asked me to do a hard reset.
These numbers are on a clean install, newly rooted and overclocked to 1.6
Click the screenies for full size versions

Mine is running smother than before and everything seems more snappy.... But man I hate when it ruins a day of playing quadrant....

You guys really really on quadrant scores? These things are well known to not be accurate or represent real world results.

Quadrant pull 5185 for me.
My settings are:
Stock/rooted/.28
In developer option : force gpu rendering
Atp tweak : cfq scheduler. Overclocked at turbo 2 (1.6 ghz)
System tuner: governor set to userspace with min n max frequency set to 1.6 ghz to get all 4 cores online.

So, after seeing other results, I examined my Prime to find out why my Quadrant score was so low. I found that I recently upgraded to Quadrant Advanced and got a score of 3700. I reinstalled Quadrant Standard and achieved a 5100 also, which is better than the previous score of 4900 with .21. :>)

I trust the truth that my Prime is so smooth and stable. I dont believe in benchmark.

1.6 cfq performance.. so far benching better than older firmwares on my Prime

Guess what... I cant even run quadrant because all I get is ANR.............
Sent from my Transformer Prime TF201 using xda premium

I'm running AndroWook Prime 1.35 (based off of .28) & got these scores in performance mode with an interactive gov. & cfq:
Antutu 13905
Quadrant 5449
Previous highs on .21 were:
Antutu: 13785
Quandrant: 5507
Marginal differences, but there you go.

WTF!
I don't trust benchmark but this buried me alive..!
Antutu at 13008 with overclock at 1.6 on stock rom..

here's mine. pure stock, neither overclocked nor rooted.
I know I should be taking a pinch of salt, but I'm disappointed with the performance even without the benchmark results.

SG2 consistent Quadrant Benchmark Scores Below 2999, What gives?

i am consistently getting low Quadrant Benchmark scores on my SG2. is there a hardware fault with my device? my average score is 2800 and there is virtually nothing running in the background when performing the benchmark tests.
Does it fell slow? If not you shouldn't care, Quadrant is a pos.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
well, interestingly, gameplay isn't so great in asphalt 6 adrenaline samsung apps free version, and there is minimal lag when swiping between screens in apps folder (could be due to crappy screen protector)
but i've gone through more than one sg2 in the past, and this is the first one showing scores less than 3000. =(
I do occasionally get 3000-3200, but in most cases <3000 (even when doing 3-4 tests in a row)
There is a new option in settings called system power saving that limits the cpu to only 800mhz, try that.

This fast enough, you can upgrade your beautiful. Wouldn't it be more.

i have reached 7459 with 1.6ghz,but to be honest wasting battery life for that performance, there arent any games or apps which will use all those 1.6ghz, i have set using only one core 500-1000mhz and it is enough for watching hd films, surfing the net, even playing hd games like pes2012 or nova2
6344 is perfectly normal for a CM7 based ROM @ 1.2 GHz
OK thank you for your information.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA App
I only get 6025 @ 1.6ghz on NDT MIUI.
= What are you even doing asking whether or not you should root your phone on XDA?! =
@Skellyyy: If you didn't already, run the tests using the Performance govenor, but make sure you switch to something else again afterwards (the performance govenor runs at full speed all the time and thus doesn't waste any time changing clock speed, but uses alot of power).

Antutu scores questions?

So I've been unable to get higher benchmarks than what I've attached. I know its not really a way to judge my phone, but rather me being curious. How are people getting such high scores on their rezounds? I'm currently running CleanROM 4.1 and loving every bit of it. Let me know what your scores are and what you've done to get those scores.

the highest score i ever got was 7200 on BAMF ICS v1.1 with SebastianFM's kernel.

I got a very similar score the first time I ran Antutu with CleanRom 4.1 (in the mid 3000's). I tried it again a few days later, not having changed anything in particular and got a 6276. So I'm not sure why there was a 3000+ point discrepency.
I've tried it a couple times and its consistantly in the 3000 range. I've never seen even remotely close to 7000 on my Rezound no matter what Rom I was running, lol.

those benchmarking apps are inaccurate and useless. tried running twice back to back. first over 7000 then just barely 3500. total waste of time

Yeah I know they're not accurate, but until I have a better way to test it, I use em for the hell of it.

im also getting crap benchmarks on any gb kernel i try, doesn't make sense for a dual core device.
I've been hitting around 6k with Antutu.
I mostly use it as a comparison to my old Inctedible though...this phone is super smooth, so I don't really care what the benchmark says!

what are you guys getting with cf-bench and the updated quadrant?

I've been getting decent scores with quadrant, but they haven't updated the list of devices so its hard to have anything to compare it to. I haven't tried the other one.
Also, I know there's a difference, but I get scores in the high 8000s with my Xoom overclocked to 1.5 ghz, but only 3000s with my Rezound clocked at 1.5 ghz as well.
Sent from my Xoom using Tapatalk
This has been discussed in Sebastians thread. It has to do w/ an issue with mpdecision. Besides benchmarks mean nothing!
All Day
I consistently get over 7000 when I run Antutu. Overclocked to 1.834 on cleanrom 4.3
I get close to 3000 with Quadrant...but I only really use it to see if new tweaks help or hurt.

[Q] S3 Benchmark Test

I done benchmark test in my new SGS3 I9300, As previously i have seen in many videos that after test S3 is winner but after my test My Device was on second Place.. Why So? Is there any problem in my device???
What benchmark test did you run?
Benchmarks are really just numbers dude, if your device performs well in day to day use then it's fine

Benchmark in S3
I run Quadrant Standard Edition & AnTuTu Benchmark both..its was 20 to 40 fps..

I run my s3 on three different benchmark apps. In quadratn the score was 5340
In antutu 13567
In geekbench 2 1876
What wer your scores??
And obviously s3 will not be first because htc one x+ , note 2, nexus 4 will score higher cause of the 2gigs of ram and they are overclocked

I found using shiyah kernel my benchmark was higher than stock kernel also the benchmark differs whether you have power saving on or off as with off it gives a higher score as on limits the cpu.
Also depends on what you have running in the background or if you've overclocked etc etc

Benchmarks don't really mean anything!! And most of the time benchmarks are software manipulated....
You should judge your phone by its behavior, if it lags, stutters or drains battery you have a problem. If not it's okay!!!
my benchmark
mine were, In quadratn the score was 9334
In antutu 11025....

Quadrant 9334? Looks like you made a world record !
Well I get 14.9 k in antutu & 7k in quadrant the biggest thing which effects Is the temperature of phone if its hot then scores will reduce because cpu throttles and underclocks too 800mhz
But benchmarks don't matter much

2nd rom cm 10 4.1.2-4.2
Mine:
Quadrant: 6464

I used to worry about quadrant scores, until I realized that they truly mean nothing compared to other devices. The only times the scores are handy for is comparing runs OF YOUR OWN PHONE. That's it, nothing else.

Bench marked score

I flashed some of chaotic weaponry stweaks profile and did this benchmark to see what I get. Is my phone fast ? Can it be faster? Just wondering
Sent from my SCH-I605 using xda app-developers app
What was the score prior to flashing the tweaks, and does your phone feel faster after flashing the tweaks?
The note 2 can benchmark way higher than that. However I prefer smoothness and battery efficiency..
People actually care about benchmark scores?

Lol my thought exactly. These days, it's all about the software. Worrying about hardware speed is a thing of the past.
