Hi I just wanted to compare my situation to others.
When the tablet is docked and I plug in an SD card (not micro) the tablet does regonise it until its undocked and redocked, reader physically reads and writes fine ao I figure its a software bug?
Anyone else got this?

This looks to be the best sd gps unit out there.. great reception and a mini sd slot.. but because of the sdio bug with the XDA IIS, the bloody thing isn't compatible...
It seems to be a software/ driver malfunction rather than a hardware limitation... I'd really love to see someone try to tackle this prob.

to use on blueangel, we would need one sd adapter
btw, is that bug with all units?
also, i think for gps, the best is one bt antenna, because for sure we will fill the sd slot with one memory card

Hmm, I don't think so.. it's fits in to the sd slot on top of the machine plus it has it's own mini sd slot so you can still use extenal storage.
But that being said, because of the o2 xda iis sdio bug it doesn't work for that model.
unless we try another rom to see if the problam persist.
maybe one original 9090 rom
Actually that's a point.. I didn't even consider that a change of rom might fix this issue... good catch.
Hi guys!
Just got a new 16GB SDHC (SANDISK) memory card for my HTC HD and although the card works perfectly well on my PC, the HD can't even recognize it! Basically, when I plug it in, the screen lights up, but when I go to settings, memory and then tap on the storage card tab, it says "Not Installed"!
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Riz.

Can not be .. I just bought one on ebay .. I hope it works the opposite of yours, if not just spend 30 pounds for nothing ..
My works really good... Fast and no problems.
Is there a way to connect the HTC Sensation (or any phone) to Transformer via USB? I have tried to put the phone into disk drive mode but the transformer does not see it. I really wanted to be able to transfer photos to my Transformer and use Photoshop to touch them up before uploading to my online accounts. Bluetooth transfer is far too tedius in my opinion.
I am presuming this a driver issue but I'm a bit miffed as disk drive mode is supposed to essentially make the phone a usb stick.

have you tried making the Sensation just a storage device?
just take out the micro sd card and put it in the transformer
I've successfully connected My Sensation over the custom recovery as microSD cardreader

Connect the Sensation to the USB of the Prime.
Select use as diskdrive.
On the Sensation go to settings/develop-option and toggle USB-debugging.
The prime will then auto-detect the mass storage device.
Don't ask me why.
It just works
It doesn't matter if you start with USB-debugging on or of.
It isn't auto-detected at connection.
The toggle is the initiator.
HTC Sensation / Leedroid 6.0.0
TF Prime + dock
How very odd, I tried what you said and for a split second when I toggle debugging mode the Transformer displays preparing external storage briefly but doesn't mount the card.

Anyone else having extremely slow transfer speeds?? Im seeing usb 1.0 speeds. I've tried switching cables, ports, everything. Here's a screen cap.
how big was the original file? the nook usb cable is known to be a usb 1.0.cable. I've used a usb 2.0 cable and I have noticed speeds increase. if u are tranferring a file that's 1+ GB then speeds will be more or less the same.

I've tried switching to my cable for my Evo but it didn't make much of a difference. The file is about 200mb, nothing huge... For now I'm ejecting the microsd and using a usb card reader but its pretty irritating.
I uploaded 60 Mb and 70 Mb video files fast, but when tried to transfer lot of pictures with all small size, the transfer almost took hours, so I guess the transfer of a big file will do fine, but for lot of small files, will take longer.
What I haven't tried is thru wifi transfer, will update later.
I find it hard to believe that everyone else has the same transfer speeds. Is it possible that its my nook?

You're not the only one - same goes for me 16GB rooted. I mean slow is putting it nicely. It would top out at 2/3 MB/s and fall way below 700kb - eventually settling in at 40-80kb/s. 5 days to transfer 10GB! Now I don't even bother. Just take the card out and put it in my card reader on the PC and transfer. I couldn't do this while I was on holiday however with a laptop with no SD card slot, so it was extremely frustrating.
Same here , but normaly my speed is about 40-80kbit. It takes ages to copy something

Yeah, I bought a usb sdcard reader and use that when I don't have access to my laptop. Or I transfer via wifi with ftp from my home server. It would be nice to find the problem though. Did anyone have this problem pre-rooting their device?
My numbers:
1.4.0 rooted
SanDisk Mobile Ultra 16GB Class 6
Two different "Nook" cables.
Large file (600MB video)
USB - 4.5 MB/sec
Wifi - 3.75 MB/sec
Small files (1-4MB jpg)
USB - 2.5 MB/sec
Wifi - 1.2 MB/sec
My experience has been that if something else is running on the Nook it can slow everything else down.

Define something else. Usually the only thing I have running in the background is andchat.
not sure if this will make a difference but there is an app on the market.. sd card speed booster (or something.. search it) i changed the value from 128 to 1024.. now getting write speed of ~10Mbps while transferring big files via stock cable..
btw i am on cm7.. and i also use teracopy for windows..
Oh yes forgot to mention i have 16gb class10 transcend microsd (ultimate) card
Haha, I only have a class 4 sd card. So that can be some of the issue. I also have started using SwiFTP. I get around 2-3 MB/s transfers with it and I don't have to unplug my nook cable from the wall. So it's a win win sort of thing now.
Same problem. Even if I use the Wifi transfer mode and put data in nook's internal memory or the sd card, the speed never goes beyond 3mbps. :-/
I recently got the HTC One X and am toying around with the NFC reader. As far as I've seen there is no app that can turn your phone into an external NFC reader for a PC. Is there any that someone knows of?
Hey! Im also interested in NFC nexus 7 drivers for linux. Someone know how to use nexus nfc on pc/linux?
