So i was playing with my phone and i noticed that the facebook app changed for me is still 1.6.0 but it changed i have different options now and i didn't even update the app, am i the only one? it looks like the iphones verison now i have way more options and it looks a lot better.
Mine has been on 1.6.0 since it was available, but it is different from now and before. For better.

How did it change? When you updated? Or was the original one different..? I updated to 1.6.0 already and it looks the same minus the new features added with 1.6.0 (video upload) Are you guys talking about the facebook for sense..? I didn't even notice if the stock FB app was pre-installed. I just installed from the market. I wanna say it was NOT..?
Yeah it wasn't. When I first got my 3D I went to activate Facebook and it wasn't there so I downloaded from the market

More changes. The like/comment buttons on the right side are now different. Wonder how they're pushing these changes. Too bad the phone didn't come with Facebook app or that would be a possible exploit.

I've searched around looking for an answer to this problem for a while, but can't find it anywhere.
I have the 3vo GSM and when I got it out of the box it had 3 audio choices in the music/video players. It had standard stereo, virtual Surround and HTC Virtual Surround sound.
I rooted my phone but decided to flash back the stock ROM. After flashing the ROM back, I lost the HTC surround sound option.
Is there a way to get it back? Would it be a simple apk or is it a file that needs to be flashed?

I'm a CDMA evo 3d user. As far as i remember it had :
1:No effects
2.SRS
3.Equalisers(headphones only)
And i think it is same for stock rom on gsm evo 3d...
Your Evo might had another ROM not stock one if you purchased from somewhere else.....
Have you restored a nandroid backup or downloaded a stock rom from somewhere?

I purchased it directly from Rogers, a cellular company in Canada.
I downloaded the stock Rogers ROM from a post in the GSM section here. For some reason I couldn't get my phone to make a nandroid, it would freeze up. Everything is there on the ROM I downloaded except the HTC Surround Sound.

Mine is a 3.0 ROM, stock. So it should have it. I don't feel like flashing a custom ROM on here again, cause it only gave me problems.
So, anyone have any idea how to get it back?
Did you see it when your headphones are plugged in or out? I would only see htc surround when my headphones are plugged in...

Nope, tried with headphones, it's still not there. I get the equalizer option and SRS Enhancement, but no HTC Surround Sound..
Any other ideas?

My video player only has the 2 default ones, SRS and No Audio Effects.
I liked the HTC one the most for some reason.

Have you checked under the battery to see if it had fell out? Also, there may be some chip creep going on, have you tried shaking the phone in a up and down motion with the head phones plugged in while browsing the gallery with a movie paused? This always worked for me!
Edit: forgot to mention you may have a blown sub, which is why your not seeing the 5.1 surround your talking about so it is defaulting back to stereo//

Have others seen the EVO ad on tv? If so what do you think. Also it says 7 million people love EVO do you think that is og EVO sales or they managed to push out the new ones.... Or that 7 mill is for the total brand name so to speak.

During the NASCAR race today it was featured a couple times and once the Announcer called it the HTC EVO 4G Lite... uh yea...
Next time he got it right, but funny the stuff I see on tv...
Yeah it is some what of a Boring ad but I'm lost on the 7mil people I wonder if that's og evos sold.... Or whole EVO line or what.

I'm just curious and wanted to know if I'm the only person who is annoyed by sprint and htc in their design of Evo 4g lte. I was with T-Mobile and i had the freedom to merge two calls regardless if I'm the one who initiated the call or not. Also i had the option to drop any of the merged calles and keep in line with the other one without dropping the call. And finally i had the ability to end a held call if I'm talking with another person.
By the way htc one x and one s have these options, i checked the user manual already.
I just wanted to know your opinion and if there is anything that we can do about it.

I think sprint doesn't want ti provide these options, i don't know why. I thought what if any of the developers would port the htc one x rom and adopt it to work on evo lte. At least i want to have the ability to end the held call.

Zedge is not playing any of the ring tones I downloaded... Or my phone(htc evo 4g lte) is not letting it work or sync or something... I searched around and tried to paste ringtones to my sd card and to internal under data,ringtones... IM lost on this and I know its going to be something stupid and easy..... (HTC evo 4g lte,rooted,s-on,mean bean ROM)

Have you tried restoring old downloads? Go to More... Settings, then Recover Old Downloads.
