Has anybody tried one of these cases for the Note? It is a belt clip/kickstand holster. I was wondering if the belt clip is durable or if it feels really cheap or loose. Also curious if the phone will fit this case with the glas.t installed on the screen.

many users have brought this. Very good one. Build quality is not very high class but sturdy and maintains the phone well.
Thanks for the info. Trying to get a few accessories ordered ahead of time so when I get the phone I will have them already.
I have this case, here are a few pix,
I also have Moshi iVisor screen protector and no issue with case.
Stand/belt clip sturdy so far.
I have this case, too. Works as advertised. Very decent, especially for the price. I also have the Seidio Active Combo. Seidio is nicer. More of a Cadilac while this one is more of a Ford.
Yes But Minimal Protection

If you drop it top and bottom of the phone is vulnerable.:crying:
I've have this exact case that I've bought from Cellphoneshop.com for the same price(9.00) when I just bought my phone 2 months ago. I"m just waiting for the otterbox comes out!! ATT doesn't know when they will be released!!!
This will just be a case to tide me over until I get the seidio combo with holster.

The Otterbox's, both Defender and Commuter have been out for awhile now. Hit up eBay or the web. I love my Defender! Also, there are threads about these too. Don't buy from AT&T though... Priced too high.

I am wondering if an one has tried both cases? I checked different sites and most have different measurements for the commuter. Currently I own the tough case but would like to try the commuter if it's not any larger. I have a Nite Ize holster and the Case Mate fits perfect.
Thanks

I have the commuter series outerbox for the i9100 and it fits my i777 perfectly.
Ordered mine yesterday on amazon for dirt cheap.... Can't wait to get it!
Is the noise cancelling mic next to the headphone jack covered with the i9100 commuter case?

I have the commuter series case. It fits excellent. It does cover the noise mic, however I did not modify the case yet. But I have not noticed any issues to date. I use my phone daily and a lot.

There is a fairly large hole right next to the headphone jack cover. It may not be a 100% aligned but its a decent size hole which should serve the purpose.
Thanks for the replies but I'm trying to figure out if the commuter is similar in size to the Tough Case. It will be in a holster while I work and the Tough case fits perfectly. A customer posted a video on amazon showing that the commuter does have the holes for both mics. I love my tough case but like how the commuter covers all the ports.
I have the case mate pop and its just a tad smaller than my wifes Iphone 4 Otterbox Defender. Otterbox puts it at 16.77 mm thick. From the pictures it looks like the tough case is also a bit thinner than the pop because its form fitting. The cate mate pop is not form fitting, the back is completely flat. The Otterbox commuter is 14.80 mm thick so i'm guessing my case mate pop will be thicker.
i'm looking forward to the commuter because it protects the front a bit. So when it falls it will luckily strike that first and the raised sides. Its a given that otterboxs are lint magnet, i'm surprised because my caste mate is not. The shiny back does however drive me nuts, ITS UGLY!
Nevermind Found pictures on Amazon
I am hoping that mine comes in today. The only bad thing about cheap sellers with free shipping can be the delivery.
I hate not having any type of tracking.

I decided to up and order one of these myself. I don't make enough calls to care about that stupid mic anyways...lol
I just got mine I in today and I'm wondering if there's a hip case that this would fight on?
If you guys do care about the second mic, Otterbox does make an I777-specific Commuter case. I have one. Here's the link. Might be more expensive since you'd be buying it from them directly at full price and because it's hard to find, but I think it's worth every penny anyway, over a year and still going strong.
Bought my otterbox commuter case off of Amazon about a month ago for 20usd and am very happy with it. Have had no problems with any functionality from it.

I just bought the Mobo Carrera slim Horizontal case (for the Galaxy Nexus) and I have to say that I'm very happy with it. It fits the LTEvo nice and snug. The phone doesn't budge at all, especially when shaken vigorously. Also magnet doesn't come off when turned upside and shaken hard. The case is nice and slim to complement the slimness of the LTEvo. The interior is outlined in red leather (sort of complements the phone as well). The belt clip is made of metal (but covered in leather) and swivels but the swivel is rigid and doesn't move with little force with is good to me; stays in the position it is set to. Has the opening at the bottom to allow you to push the phone up to easily remove it.
If you are interested in a horizontal case, then this might be the one for you. Just google Mobo Carrera Horizontal case Galaxy Nexus; amazon has it here Mobo Carrera Horizontal Carrying Case. Other site sell it as well.
I bought 2 more slim cases and I'll write about them here as well when they come in this coming week.

Well I didn't keep the other two cases. One was too big for the LTEvo that the phone flopped around in the case. That was a killer for me, so I didn't even bother to give it another thought.
The other one is the one pictured below. It was a case for the Galaxy Nexus so it didn't really fit all that well. Don't get me wrong the case was well designed but the dimensions were just short of fitting the LTEvo. The LTEvo was hanging out of the case. If they make one specifically for the LTEvo, it would be worth investing in it.

If you don't mind my asking, what cases were the ones that were too big? Also do you think they'd fit the Evo with a silicone or TPU case on? Thanks!
Ditto to the above I like a gorm fitting holster but I never go out without a case. For work I use the Otterbox commuter with the seido active holster but for regular use, I use a thin TPU case. I have yet to find a holster that is thin and long enough to fit the phone with a TPU case.
Any suggestions?

I bought my dad a side clip holster from siedioonline and he was ecstatic with it.
Even I loved it, and I really dislike holsters in general.
has anyone seen this Seidio SURFACE Holster at shopandroid. http://www.shopandroid.com/seidio-surface-holster/4AA15693.htm
Thanks for the link that's the case holster setup I had on my s4 I'll be buying it for sure

I've been using the Seido Surface since the HTC PPC6700 lol, though I think it was called something else back then.
I ordered one today, hopefully will get it by Thursday. Simple (and thin), yet effective
Love the setup but I have owned 3 of their holsters, they always break for me. I am buying their active or their version of s-view when it comes out. Love their cases.

Seido was my #1 case for a long time... Until the came out with kickstand only cases for the note 2. And now the same thing with the Note 3.
QUALITY wise you wont be disappointed.
A bummer, I know..
I love the Seidio Surface holsters, and they do work with many cases other that the Surface case. I've used them with several cases on my Galaxy Nexus, from Diztronic up to a case over a Zero Lemon battery (what I'm using now). The only problem I've found with them, and it's a major problem, is that the plastic clip holding the holster to your belt is easy to pop off, ruining the holster. My car, an Evo X, has high side bolsters on the front seats, and if I don't remember to slide the holster toward my middle when I sit down it will pop the plastic clip. Even with this issue I still like this holster better than any other I've found, and especially like the way the holster can be rotated to different angles for comfort.
In a little less than two years with my GNex I'm now on my fourth Surface holster, and I always keep a spare since I know I'll soon break another clip. I still keep buying them!
Same issue with me. So frustrating because I love their cases.

I picked up the Platinum branded version of this at my local best buy mobile. See if they have one, I got lucky because they just had the one.

Seidio has finally started selling there surface and dilex pro cases for the Nexus 6 if anyone is interested.

I already have the Seidio spring clip holster for the naked Nexus 6. I really like Seidio products and so for the spring clip holster is what I expect from Seidio. I know there a little expensive but I also know that it will last a long time. I just ordered the Surface combo. I'll try and post some pix of the spring clip holster for the naked Nexus 6 later.

How did you get the holster so quickly? They only started taking orders two days ago on their website. I have to agree that Seidio products are top quality. If you wait a little bit, you can usually save a few bucks when they start Amazon fufillment.
Just the holster for the naked Nexus 6 started shipping on 1/09/15. Yeah!!! I really like there products. One thing I notice with this holster is that the back of the phone does touch the surface that you lay it on. There is noway to slide a piece of paper underneath it.
I took these pix really quick. There not that good.

Anyone planning on trying the Dilex? Part of me wants to just cuz I've liked Seidio products in the past.
It probably won't help you, but I had the Dilex for the Nexus 5 and it was nice. I ordered the Surface combo because the power and volume buttons are not covered up by the case. I placed my order yesterday with the cheapest shipping so it should be here towards the end of the week. I really like either one because they are so easy to put on and off.
Interested to see pictures of the dilex. The pics on the website suck
i ordered the dilex pro with holster. should be here by next week. i had the dilex for the nexus 4 and nexus 5. really like there cases.
curious to check out the new dilex with the tpu instead of soft silicone. i know with the previous dilex it would stretch and get flabby after awhile.
although pricey looking forward to this case. will post pics when i get it.

Ordered my surface yesterday. Finally
just received my dilex pro today for my wife and myself. have attached some pictures. problem may be worth the headphone port. should of made it bigger. the stock charger causes a little bit of a bulge when charging on the case.
overall seems like a good case but expected better cutouts with the amount of time it took seidio to release this. especially on the headphone port. charging port is tolerable.
Thank you for the pictures.. Convinced me not to buy this case
It looks nice and protected, but also kinda plain. How are the buttons?
I just got the Surface with the holster. I will only use this setup at work. I do not like to use cases. Charger fits fine and wireless charger works (TYLT VÜ Wireless Charger). I don't use headphones, but it looks tight. The holster clip is much bigger on the Surface then the Naked holster. I use the holster only on the sun visor in the vehicles, so this bigger one will be nicer to use. The case does not sit flat, but it better then without the case. Overall the case is nice, so far and I really like the 2 piece case.......easy on easy off.
I am so bummed. Saw these online and thought they were perfect. But the kickstand bump out totally ruins it for me.

as for the buttons they are clicky. what i don't like is that there US only a small area to press on the power and volume buttons. with the tpu and hard Shell you are feeling just only the tip of the buttons. different from if you are touching the naked button.
as much as i hate to say it. seidio disappointed me this time and i will be sending it back. can't see myself using this case on a regular basis.
Just got my Seidio Surface today!
I've owned Seidio products for 5 of my last 8 phones and the only reason I didn't get their products for the other 3 was because they didn't make a case for those products. I have to say that Seidio is perhaps one of the best case makers I've ever come across and absolutely the best case/holster combo maker there is! I've not had a chance to use in in my daily routine yet, but I will tomorrow! I am a DM with Target Mobile and I have 3 phones that I carry with my most if not all of the time. I haven't had a Seidio case/holster combo for any of my current phones and having my main go to phone (Nexus 6) on my hip and not in my pocket will be a welcome change.
I'll follow up in the coming days and let you all know my impressions if you care to hear.

Do you have any other Nexus 6 cases to test with that Surface holster? If so, pics please?
I'm looking for suggestions for a thin case for my Pixel that will fit in a belt holster. I'm currently using this one:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MG4BBX1/
but the case is pretty thick, around 3.5mm. All of the ones in that style have a kickstand on the back, which adds to the thickness.
I see Seidio makes a Surface which they say is 2mm thick, quite a bit thinner. I've never had one, and am not sure about the TPU inner part covering the buttons, wondering if it messes up the feel.
https://www.seidioonline.com/product/google-pixel-surface-case/
Any comments on the Surface for this (or other) phones, or suggestions for a thin case/belt holster set?
I use a Google Live Case with a vertical leather belt pouch like this one. Works well for me.
I thought about the Seidio Surface, but don't like kickstands.
I can recommend the Supcase that comes with a belt clip but it's not the thinnest thing in the world - definitely a thicker heavy duty case. No kickstand though.
On that note, I'd be happy to mail you the belt clip if you wanted it if you paid for shipping, as well as test my various cases first to see if any are compatible with it. Just let me know. (My wife uses the case but not the belt clip.)

Thanks, but I have a belt clip for it without a case (think it's encased brand, ironically).
I decided to order a Surface and give it a try. Showed up today. The TPU part is a lot thinner than I was expecting. I'll post some thoughts on it after I've had it a few days.

That's the holster I was using when I didn't have it in a case. I liked it, but decided to stick with a case. Phone was a little too slippery for me without one.
I ended up returning the Seidio case/holster. For one thing, it was more difficult to get in and out of the holster, although it probably would have loosened up over time. Some of the headphones I have didn't fit the jack with it on, and the lip around the front made it more awkward to use. A lot of it came down to I just didn't think it was anywhere near being worth the price. For me anyhow. I see Amazon has a like new one right now for $21 though.
I'm still using the case/holster combo I linked to in the first post, and it's protected the phone from a few fumbles drops just fine.
