Want to flash modem. - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have narrowed down my battery drain to my wifi/mobile data connection. When they are on and then phone is left to rest its always using up juice by awakening the phone.
When I turn both wifi and mobile data off there's zero wakelocks.
So it was suggested I flash a new modem as people have reported way less wifi drain afterwards.
Here's my details of my phone and I'm also rooted.

I'm a noob when it comes to understanding these names/kernels.
Could you tell me/link me to where I can find out about these baseband and build?
Did it fix the wifi drain issue for you?

For me, le8 was quicker and drained less battery than lf2.

WiFi is kernel not modem .

Yet another battery drain issue

Hi,
I bought a new Atrix from Personal Argentina. Ever since I bought it and change it to CM the battery drains as 3% or more per hour when the phone is idle (no data or wifi on, neither screen). I changed to Neutrino 2.2 EE rom as it is supposed to be optimized for battery life and the issue still persists.
I tried to check if some up was running in background using high CPU with WatchDog but I didn't find anything.
I also tried the process these guy describes on the first thread but my Atrix already measures around 4200 mAh http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1198333
Not sure what to do next.. Maybe change the radio, but I am not sure which one should I use for Personal Argentina.
Please Advice
Just changing ROMs is not enough, you'll have to experiment with different Kernel, ROM and Basebands (radios) until you find the best combo.
For me Wetdream 1.4.3 ROM, FAUX 1Ghz Kernel and 77.36P radio seem to do the trick. (see screenie)

[Q] [HELP] Radios

So I've done some searches and can't seem to find this. I thought I was running the latest firmware and radios, but now I'm not so sure.
Baseband version
2.22.10.0801r, 2.2210.0803r
If that isn't the latest, where/how can I update my radios?
Thanks!

Is there a way to update radios without RUU???
I've had nothing but serious battery issues with the latest global ruu and yes ive flashed it right multiple times. so im considering S'ing-Off my phone since i heard you can go back to a previous kernel... but I need to keep my global radio as I use the phone overseas often...
Thanks for any tips to put on the right track...

[Q] phone won't start ?

Hello ,
Today I thought it was a good day to update my GT-I9100 to jelly bean
apparently I was wrong
I searched for a stock ROM that would work for my GT-I9100 and I found one and installed it using Odin
this is what happened when I turn my phone on

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
as you can see the ROM was not for GT-I9100 it is for GT-I9100G
the model number has changed
what can I do to fix this problem ??
thank you .
Can you still get into download mode? If you can, download the correct JB firmware from Samfirmware and flash that instead. Hopefully that'll work, flashing the wrong firmware can be nasty.
Edit : And why does it have the yellow triangle? Have you tried to flash a custom kernel via Odin or something, after flashing the wrong rom?
Sent from a galaxy far, far away
I downloaded the ROM from a blog that clearly said that ROM was for GT-I9100
I can still get to download mode but I'm really angry that the model name changed to GT-I9100G
currently I downloading a JB ROM from sammobile and I'll see how things gonna work out
thank you for your reply

now you have to know about the device gonna be upgraded to determine the right firmware suggestion.
thanks so much for your time.
I have flash all (7) 4.4.2 kk firmwares from the sammobile website for the gt-i9200, and i can say for sure that you can use any of them without any problem at all. I also have flash philz touch recovery and root all 7 firmwares after flashing them with odin.

I have the same problem but samsung service centre fixed it by changing the main board and battery.
I had one reboot (for now)
probably Samsung set it auto restart if device is stressed too much
