I have seen that a number of people think that the genetic global is a better 2.1 firmware than the rest. Any truth in this?
I am in South Africa and still no update here. Flashed to nordic a week ago and stoked with the results. Just want some pros and cons of other 2.1 versions...

There's no differences between any of the firmwares except for the SO-01B doesn't have a couple of the "bugs" related to the LED not turning off. The build number on the majority is the same, which would mean that they're identical.

Well, I have been using Global Generic and I am quite happy with it since I am in the middle east and got the market.
I don't see any differences between except for a fact they were released at different times.
I have read that the Jellybean update began in Hongkong. So I think the others will get them , too . I hope this week.

At the moment, no news about latam jb. The most recent news are the french, turkish and the autralian ota.
I'm Brazilian, at the moment i have aokp 4.2.2 kexec, but i'm waiting for the latam jb.
I think that the latam jb is close, because us, europe, east-europe, asia and oceania has early received jb (basically), only latin america and africa have no news about jelly bean.
Why is LATAM taking so long? I'm dying to have JB! =(

Don't take their promises for granted. Motorola let down its customers by breaking its promises many times in the past.
Technically speaking, EU releases are still soak tests - they are not rolling across the supported countries, just a few people received it.

I have tried both roms. The concrete differences I observed were. ME3 had bootanimation and carrier apps for HOTMOBILE . Some apps have Hebrew writing. rom is branded middle east. the ME7 is carrier unbranded for Europe .also the home screen widget for the camera is available on ME3 but not for ME7.

If you hve XperiaFirm, 6.0.1 has been released all around the world. I'm downloading the firmware atm
Until now it is only for North America, Asia (excluding JP), and AU/NZ. I wonder when it will be release for the rest of the world and why the delay.
