There is a thread in the general section. This isn't the right place for questions like yours.
We know as much as you, it's on the way.
If you are bored play around with custom roms, otherwise you will just have to be patient like the rest of us

I've read on several sites, that the JB will be rolled out by the end of this month or early september, the new rom is in his testing fase by Samsung.
i rooted my phone but found lost calls and freezing of screen so i reflashed via odin stock firmware. but reading the posts not much is going on a few jelly bean ports , my question is when offical jelly bean arrives (october) when rooted what could we be instore for or does standard stock offer stability and safe usuage ,

Latest news is November. And even then I guess it will be in the last week. Certainly not in the first. But I like your positive thinking

I was very reluctant at first, but, my answer to you now would be YES!
yeah go for it, there is no gurantee it will be Nov anyway !!
Root it, have a play and then you can try some of the Unofficial JB roms now :good:
Official JB for i9100 will be released in November, not earlier.
So, try CM10. It's stable and smooth.

Maybe we should dream your dream, mate. It's a good one.
Root root root
Just root your phone! Even the Galaxy S3 hasn't received the update in most regions... The S2 is lower priority for Samsung. When all S3s get the update we should expect the update a week from then. JUST ROOT IT FOR NOW.
Next month, the new Samsung Galaxy S3, its predecessor the Galaxy S2, and the original Galaxy Note, are set to get their much awaited Android Jelly Bean OS update (October). Good news is that the Jelly Bean OS is the answer to security flaw of the TouchWiz UI.
This month of September, Samsung have started to rollout the latest Android update from the Ice Cream Sandwich to the Jelly Bean OS. Please note that the Kies-supported Android rollout is limited to the country Poland only. Samsung recently said in an e-mail that the company claims that more countries will start getting the Android Jelly Bean update soon and schedules may vary by market and wireless carriers.
So other than being able to use the latest Android flavor on the Samsung Galaxy S3, Galaxy S2 and the Galaxy Note, this Jelly Bean rollout to fix issued related to the phone’s TouchWiz. According to some reports, a hacker has confirmed that Samsung’s custom skin under the Ice Cream Sandwich update has added risk in allowing hackers to remotely wipe clean or disable any data on the Samsung Galaxy S3, Galaxy Note and the Galaxy S2.
Maybe it is because of this that Samsung already started the rollout to their new Galaxy S3’s to simply fix the said security flaw? The sad part is that not all devices are included in the list of phones to receive the Jelly Bean update. Samsung also urges their Galaxy S3 customers to download and install the said software.
Again, a post made by the Android Police stated that the Jelly Bean alone can fix the current security flaw. The said site also explained that “We have confirmation that this exploit is also fixed in Jelly Bean, as well, so any device running Android 4.1 should be safe.”

we will never get jellybean !! where talking about samsung here they talk out of there arseholes s3 will get it but i highly doubt whatever they say we wont get it. just flash a nice jellbean custom rom, i reccomend so far jellybam.
During Google I/O, Google announced a Nexus-flavored I9305 that would run a pure unmodified version of JB 4.2.2 and come with an unlocked bootloader.
If all else about these I9305 are the same, would it be possible to just run this new Google-published 4.2.2 ROM on existing I9305? I've been trying to "un-Samsung" my I9305 since day one (big reason why I'm using CM-based custom ROMs now). Presumably this would make life easier for devs working on 4.2.2 custom ROMs?
I thought the announced was galaxy S4, the 9505 ?

Its been a week since MD3 is out. Ive been using it since. It has best ram management compared to other JB roms (as mentioned by Deadsol in his review)
I am just curious like many other out there, that why there are no custom roms based on MD3. Does this update has any development issues ?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
Presume devs prefer newer build E over build D and 4.2.2 over 4.1.2 .
Build 4.2.2 being the future releases .
jje
Agreed !
But ME3 is still a leaked firmware. So MD3 still rocks
