AOKP webOS Theme Request - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Can anyone put together a theme for AOKP's built-in theme engine that uses stock webOS icons & status bar images/colors and maybe even theme the dialer to look more webOS like. There is a theme in MIUI called we80s that is a good reference. I'm not sure if it can be ported.

Any theme can be ported, someone just needs to know how. I recommend posting this again in Android General section. Better yet, I'll just get kenny to move it there.

NookColor CM7 and Themes

I have been playing around and have been downloading a few themes that seem to run well on the Nook Color running CM7. What others have you all found that work?
The one I'm using is:
Honeycomb by Haxzamatic
but I'm looking into others as well.
That theme is really nice! Thanks for the heads up...works great. Sorry, I have none to contribute, but I would love to see more themes for CM.
Working nice...thanks for the heads up...
Swyped from a CM7 Wimax EVO using the Xda app
I'm running Honeybread too. There are a few themes in the market. Search CM7 or theme engine
I was curious if the themes worked. glad somebody tried it
Most of them are for HPDI and I believe the Nook uses MPDI images but they still work.
Can confirm that Red Remix, Blue Bionic, Orange Octane, and mau5 also work for me. Install from the market, as mentioned above...
I think I'm going to stick with Honeybread, though Red Remix is pretty sexy too...nice to have so many options already
I really like Honeybread, but it doesn't look or feel optimized for large screens at all.
The notification bar is especially messed up while using the theme.
Maybe I've just been spoiled by the honeycomb preview image
Like I said its for HPDI devices and the Nook draws from MDPI so of course there are gonna be issues. It even says so when you select the theme.
I pulled cyanbread from my droid and it works great
The nook will use hdpi if you remove all traces of the mdpi sources. You can also mix the two so a theme will look good for people on both low and high dpi settings.

It will now be using HPDI as they made the change in CM, should be in tonights nightly I believe.
provided they fixed the statusbar crash from nightly 6...

really beautiful~thanks 2your introduction~
Ice Cream Sandwich [Tablet Tweaked]
Honeybread [Tablet Tweaked]
TransformerBread [Tablet Tweaked]
These are optimized for the Nook Color and in my opinion the best. I personally use Honeybread.

[Q] Making themes for Theme Chooser (CM7)

Does any one know how to make a theme (apk) that will work with theme chooser? Or does any one knows for some nice themes? Any links would be great. I found some nice themes on EVO section, but they are onl for HDPI devices.
Have you checked the XDA-developers forum?
Thanks Jules! Ofcourse I've been searching on xda, but silly me haven't search under T-mobile theme engine, only Theme chooser.

Some HDPI themes can be used on our MDPI device.
I have the following themes installed:
Rover
T-MO ENGINE Themes
You can find more on the Android Development and Hacking [Android Themes] forum.
Thanks for the links, themes under first link are awsome . I just want you to ask if you have orginal DPI settings (which is 160), or you have modified it on a lower number?

I didn't anything. I installed the Theme and apply this with the Theme Manager.
Only the right side of the notification area is not correct (small black rectangle)

Cm7 themes?

I know we have the 3 themes that come with cm7 and I love the cyanbread but it would be cool to have some more themes at our disposal. Are they device specific on cm7, and if not where do we look to find different themes?

freaking love minimal magic.
the theme engine is nice...but having actually flashed cm7 because omj and i had considered doing a theme for it...it has annoying limitations
*cant theme the lockscreen
*cant theme shutdown popups
*cant touch boot ani
*cant change progress_horizontal (volume, system progress)
amongst others....dont really understand why these limitations exist...but kinda lame imo

(REQ) A complete pure AOSP / Gingerbread Theme!!

Hello I just wanted to make a request for any of you themers who would like to make a pure aosp / gingerbread theme. I'm currently using senseless rom 1.2 because I love the theming done to it! I love gingerbread and aosp! But I also love the performance of viperROM! What Im trying to get at is a complete gingerbread theme to flash on viperROM to get the best pure gb/aosp experience! Id really like the theme to look like the visual of senseless rom 1.2! If anyone is interested, just reply! Id really appreciate it! Id love to learn how to make this theme myself but don't know how, if anyone could provide help id do it by myself! But anyways, thank you!

You would probly have more luck with your request in the themes section. Ask a mod to move the thread for you.
I would agree though, a pure AOSP theme would be great.

*redrum is basically how it sounds tons of dark black and grays with red poured all over it
Also big thanks to Ed and Loki for answering all my questions and helping me
Thank you guys
So far so good on Imperium Initiative v1.0.3. I wonder if I'm going to miss the red at all.
Looks nice. Everybody knows we really could use more themes. Low level theming via the kitchen is really easy but we still don't have a lot of themes for the mopho. Full themes are a bit harder as they require individual apk edits and take time.
If you are up to it I have something planned but it will have to wait (family emergency). I'll PM you with details.
Ugh..was talking to qbking about theming ics to look like black infinitum (Google it)...we agreed that ics theming is a *****. Lots of 9pngs. I agree about the limited amount of themes...I'm just not that good..
Let me know if you need help....I can try...gb seems so much easier

Super dope job on the CM7 theme. I just flashed it and the bootloader is really nice. I LOVE the text and the size, that was a great modification and makes the menu's look awesome. Loaded up the them and so far so good, looks very nice. Now all I need is to find a nice wallpaper with some blue in it. FYI, I am using CM7.2. Thanks again and good job!!
