Hi All,
im trying to optimise the battery comsumtion on my galaxy s2.
From the battery panel i can see my phone is regularly woken up from power saving standby.
Is there any way to identify what apps are responsible for waking up the phone?
thanks in advance,
Lunex
Try better battery stats
thanks that seems to be exactly what i was searching for!

Hi all,
Is there any app to kill apps that are causing wakelocks above a certain amount of time?
I don't know if you experience this problem, but sometimes whatsapp goes into a wakelock called "fullsync" which basically knackers the battery. If I am lucky, I can detect this early and do a reboot
If I am not lucky, it just eats away the battery, major bummer.
Watchdog doesn't really kill apps if it is not using CPU power isn't it? This whatsapp wake lock doesn't use CPU power, it just sucks battery from nowhere
change Kernel mate.
Pls guys i need help..
If i stop all services (task manager/settings/stop services)...will it improve my battery performance....?

It'll improve battery life a little. But what drain battery is 3G and wifi and the service that prevent your phone to go to deep sleep mode while 3G/wifi is on. You can install CPU spy and wake lock detector to investigate what drain your phone battery and try to stop that service or remove it.

Thanks for ur reply...ok let me try with cpu spy and come back to u....but i have already installed wakelock detector...
I use Greenify to stop services from those apps that I am not currently using. When Greenify hibernates the app, it also hibernates the related service.
I did see a small increase in the amount of deep sleep and a small battery life improvement. Of course, your mileage may vary due to not all services waking the device.
Hello guyz,
First of all, I am sorry for my English, it's not my native language.
*
I have some questions on saving my battery life time.* So first of all,* would you please give me some tips on how to keep my battery alive for some time. For example, the settings i should toggle off or on. The apps i should install as battery savers or that i shouldnt. Any advice would be really appreciated.
And another thing what is the best battery saver app and speed booster app or shouldn't i install any of them?
And what is the sleep mode and when does my phone enters in that mode.
And will i get the notifications when i am in sleep mode? And if i let the wifi to turn off during sleep (keep wifi during sleep, on when plugged) will i still get my notifications?
And btw i am using samsung s6 edge and am kinda a heavy user and my phone is full of apps. And i really donno is it normal or not, my phone drops 1% every 6mins? And at night before i sleep the mob is always fully charged, when i wake up it decreases to 90%* and can wifi drain battery more than the data?
Thank you a lot in advance and i am sorry again for my English.
Hey everyone,
After playing a bit with my Honor battery this week, I realized that my phone barely goes into deep sleep mode.
I have few Power consuming apps running in the background such as Facebook, Google App, Google Play Store, Textra, Gmail or Pebble.
Using tasker I periodically turn on and off the Auto Sync parameter (1 min of auto sync every 30 minutes) and I always shut down all the applications running in the background.
In my previous Nexus 5, I didn't had much of a problem with the CPU Deep sleep but now that I'm on EMUI without Root on I feel like I can barely control anything that's happening on my phone anymore, especially on the battery.
Overall the battery is still correct but I'm just wondering whether I'm the only one noticing this.
Thanks !
If battery life is normal then it doesn't matter. All cpu operate differently, maybe its just how kirin is. If apps are consuming power in background , emui will tell you.
Have you gone through the power saving and background apps managers of EMUI itself ? Maybe there is conflict of that with Tasker.
I just create battery discussion thread, I appreciate if you can post info here , Thanks

Yeah, I'm spending a lot of time checking out the power saving in the background and after a few day it seems that the phone kinda got used to it.
Facebook and G+ are still coming up first in term of power consumption (I actually wonder why every time I kill them, they just come back... even though they're both not synchronized anyway)
I've gotta admit that the on screen time is pretty amazing! The one thing that's kinda scaring me is the background power consumption but I'll try harder to get this right if anything can be done about these app running in the background. (I'll try rooting and grenifying it)
Other than that, yeah the phone last me a good day with a good amount of on screen time!
Hi all, this question arises after I enabled an automation to set battery saver on while my screen is off. To see how effective this was I wanted to see what the default battery saver actually does and only a couple applied while screen is off- GPS and vibration (from memory). I know you can modify these feature by switching them on and off but is there any way you can add new features/actions while battery saver is on and if so what are the common battery training processes that occur while your screen is off?.
Thank you so much in advance, any response is appreciated!.
