Was just wondering how do you have the phone contacts use the facebook pictures? Right now my contacts are only using the google pictures.
I do have facebook account setup and click sync contacts.

There could be an easier way then how i do it, but I just go into my contacts then delete the contact picture and facebook replaces it with the most current one.
I had all my contacts set up and their facebook pictures were on their phone number. Now I let my friend sign into his facebook on my phone and then after all my contacts lost their facebook pictures. I then logged back in and synced and their pictures are not back. I removed the account and then resynced it and their pictures are in contacts under facebook, but not under address book. How can I sync them all from facebook to contacts without doing it individually? And is there a way that I can have it setup so that if other people login to facebook on my phone that it doesn't erase all my stuff?

Do you want to sync Facebook contacts to your phone and then merge with Gmail contacts on your phone? If yes then do the following...
1. Sync Gmail contacts to phone.
2. Sync Facebook contacts using haxsync.
3. Download contact remover root to merge Facebook contacts to Gmail.

Could anybody say what is happening with the GMail account. I have my contacts in Outlook and synced them with my phone, then added the gmail account. After deleting gmail account from accounts in settings all my contacts are gone. What the ...???
A also noticed that when I have an existing gmail account I cannot set individual ringtone to a contact. When it's gone everything works. Anyway I don't want this gmail to sync everything, especially my contacts. Does anybody know why the hell on earth this crap is going on? Why can't I just use my contacts without gmail sync and other strange effects.

Yes happened with me too.
Totally idiotic.
And the worst part?
When I synced back the Google account... The contacts didn't come back properly.
All messed up and duplicates.
Idiotic.
Luckily I had taken a backup few days back and deleted all contacts and restored the backup.
I have totally disabled my contacts sync up with Google.

The only way that helped me is to sync my contacts with my outlook without creating gmail account, then set up all personal contact ringtones and only after that create gmail account in the phone without sync options.

Just let your Facebook manage your contacts in the Facebook app settings menu. Imho.
settings, accounts, facebook, sync might work?
Just go to your sync settings. You'll find it there.
in settings/account/facebook and sync
