Frequent reboots on st15i - Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini, Mini Pro, Xperia Pro, A

I'm a noob, pls help me, pls pls.,
I was on krsh kernel v3 n minicmsandwich v4 lite, I had frequent reboots like 10 times a day,. While using the phne n also on standby..
I cudn't find the problm., initially thought kernel,- changed to mesa 1.1 ,,, omg nw the frequency increasd like 20 times.. Cudn't bear even a day...
Did a complete format sdcard., flashed stock ics using flashtool 0.8.0.0,,, then v3 krsh kernel, was on stock for a day- no prob...
Then flashd rom flush78 ics,- prob reappeard.. thought rom prob, changed to real ics, prob persisted..
I always do a full wipe data/cache/dalvik..
Also tried format system/data/cache, then flashing rom, no use.
Nw again, flashd stock ics- same method, nothing else.. just im on stock..
2 reboots while typing this., pls help me., pls
OMG, I just enterd safemode after this weird reboot nw, what s happening, pls guys, Help

Rage Kernel
I also had the same problem. It is with stock kernel or some other kernel you are using. Try Rage Kernel. 3.0 for Gingerbread and 3.2 for ICS.
Hit thanks if I helped

If Ur OverClock Ur CPU, That Might Be The Problem...!
I Had That Problem Only On Official ICS (I Guess With All Kernals)...!
Nw Im On MIUI, Everything Is Working Gud But It Kinds Of Lack At Performance...!
Might Revert Back To GingerBread or MiniCMSandwich...!

Thank u very much fr d replies,
I just reverted back to gingerbread baseband 64, wil check fr couple of days,
If no reboots, I wil check with baseband,

Better yet, the OP could try underclocking. Nothing like running an Intel i7 at 386SX speeds. Global warming, eat your heart out!

The answers posted thus far are wrong.
I'm order to overclock you need to flash a custom kernel that supports it.
I recommend trying one of dooms kernels.
You then use set CPU to control the freq.
I would recommend leaving it around 1100 mhz, that is fine and won't harm your device at all.
You also will notice big performance gain but very little battery change!
I tried using CPU Manager.. SETCPU..But I cannot overclock my x10..
I flashed miui on my custom Wolf v6 rom..
Can someone guide me in this. I might be doing something wrong..
Pls help..

Like I just said you can't overclock the stock kernel!
Go to the dev forum and flash doomskernel for locked bootloaders!
Then you'll be able to overclock

Need Help ,problem install JJ's HYBRID ROM v4 (Hotfixv5)

Hi all,
I'm new user for xperia ray , my phone is 4.0.2.A.0.62 version and rooted.
i tried to install JJ's HYBRID ROM v4 (Hotfixv5) and do all wipe data but i forgot flash Hotfixv5 (12-4-2012) .then I rebooted my phone ,it's stuck with sony Ericsson logo, could you please help me ?
in CWM recovery, you choose advanced/fix permissions.
you should have attached your post on JJ's post
did you flashed a new kernel, if not get one from sirkay's post then reflash rom.
if you already have the kernel, the boot up after v4 takes about 2 to 3 minutes. be patient and it will boot up
if not, reflash again
just one thing, 'wrong kernel'. shouldnt have sony ericsson logo, its sony logo if u flashed the right kernel

maybe thard should use/abuse his phone first before posting. it looks like he didn't even touched wifi itself, and he should have read the features and changes on ICS
poor guy, didn't bother to research
I think i have the same problem. wifi is not working at all in my Arc S.
Tried ArcKnight RC 3.5.1_OC kernel and currently with MooDed V1 and still no luck.
ROM JJ Hybrid 3.2 Stable + Hot Update and nothing...
Am I missing something?

Doomkernel is also good and all of here knows that.. its up to you buddy what will you use.. to compare two kernels and their differences.. go to their respective threads and read a lot there to know exactly what im referring to and why i chose thkernel as my kernel for stock based roms..
Im also using doomkernel for other roms such as my first rom.. in flashing stock based roms.. my first option as a kernel will be dooms oc version..

[Q] Adreno Libs+Icecream pureness[14]+Alliance kernel(night elf)-Should I go for it?

I really like the above combination and think my phone will work smooth and zippy, also no problem with moderate gaming and battery life, but i'm not too sure cause this is my first time reverting from stock rom....Few questions---->
1.Will the adreno libs work with the rom, cause in the thread it was written they work only with stock rom, maybe it should have been stock based rom.....
2.Should i first flash the kernel and then the rom or the order dosen't matter.....
I would like all of your opinions of personal use of the rom, over time,if anyone has this combination please let me know how this works for you, should I or should i not go for this...,
Anything and everything you have in your thoughts about this please let me know and please answer my questions...{on a Neo V not a Neo}
always thankful:good:
Icecream pureness already have the new adreno libs. You dont need to flash it.And the combination is good.

Thanks dude!
i am using pureness build 14.
smooth and good battery life. adreno libs is included in the rom. no need to flash it.
the only way to know how good a custom rom is to try it .
you can always revert back to stock fimware or whatever rom you were using before it.
xperia ultimate hd rom - suave v 6 kernel .
I was using Ice Cream Pureness build 14 with adreno libs ( have in the build ), it's very smooth and very good battery life, but when changed my kernel for Lupus Kernel, rom stopped work. :crying:
Only was bootlooping.
PS: My english is bad, sorry for that.
Ofcourse.. because as far as i know lupus kernel is jb based.. how will it work on ics?? U cannot have a jb kernel and ics rom
Hope this fulfilled your need.. hit thanks if i did..

Search for any thread about rooting the phone you will find the kernel there (can't give you the link I'm using Tapatalk)
For flashing the kernel
Download and install Flashtool
Switch off your phone
Press the Back button and connect the phone to your computer
Run flashtool
Click on the thunder icon
Select flash mode
Select the kernel ftf
Press ok
Wait for few secs
When flashing is done
Disconnect the phone
And restart
Enjoy

Yup..when you update..both OS nd Kernel are installed...
I take it that you've not rooted your phone...SUS should've solved it if it was a software problem..
So im guessing..it might be a hardware one...but you could try to flash the latest firmware using flashtool...try both ICS..nd GB..nd hope.
I think u r facing bluetooth bootloop problem... Root ur phone, & install cwm.. Then if u face the same problem goto cwm, wipe delvik cache & cache partition, now reboot & ur phone will boot..
If u dont wanna root then u have to reflash the whole firmware again via flashtool or repair using SUS if u face the problem again.. Hope this helps...
