Yes I'm sure, and I was trying to do the d101 update, and this also shows up when I try and do a backup
If you havent already download Rom Manager and reflash CWM. Soemtimes people tell you to flash an older version then reflash the newest version.

Whenever I try to install an older version, I get a message saying "An error occurred while downloading your recovery" I've tried it on 3G and Wifi, and I can download other things just fine.
Do you have the update.zip for CWM still on your sdcard? If so reboot into recovery using the power and volume key, it should take you to the Samsung recovery, then go to apply update.zip.

I just get sent back to CWM and I get the same error. Would removing ROM Manager remove CWM?
In order to have a fully working rom manager, you have to flash the clockworkmod.tar kernal. I was having the exact same issues, I couldn't do a backup or restore. You will have to do odin on your phone.

Exactly.
You cannot install CWM without odin / redbend / etc. There are no shortcuts. Just downloading ROM Manager and hoping that you're special or lucky is not enough to make this work.
Follow the instructions.
I guess I had assumes he had already done that.
Hey, I downloaded One click root and followed the instructions that were given and when i get into the system recovery mode and click "reinstall package" i get this message......"E:signature verification failed Installation aborted. I currently flashed KA7 on my phone using Odin, any help plz?

delete "update.zip" from your sdcard......try using "z4root" or "oclf" from the market to root....it sounds like one click root is not generating a healthy update.zip for you
Yet again following this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1239821
I did every step in order, but when i get into TWRP, then choose "Install Zip". After i choose "Choose Zip To Flash" i select "su-2.3.6.3.zip"
I get this:
Code:
Mounting SYSTEM...
Deleting SYSTEM:bin/su...
Deleting SYSTEM:xbin/su...
Extracting files to SYSTEM...
Setting SYSTEM:bin/su permissions to 6755...
Creating SYSTEM:xbin/su symbolic link...
E:Error in /tmp/sideload/package.zip
(Status 0)
Why did i get that error and is there anyway i can fix it?
When i reboot my phone it says it just had an "abnormal reset"

I would use cwm as recovery twrp 2.0 has issues. Abnormal reset is normal on stock roms click it tell it not to send . Then go to about phone in menu click it on the top click tell HTC click it shut off the bug report and send thing . This will stop the abnormal reset message .
