Super CID question - HTC Amaze 4G

Ok, My amaze is bootloader unlocked, s-off and rooted, i went through the super cid process successfully, i think. After doing so it appears there is no rom on my phone. I mistakenly lost my back up, phone goes to the android flying up and no further. Does doing the super CID erase the rom?

Changing your cid doesn't touch squat on the device other than the cid. The question is what did YOU do other than supercid the device.

Hmmmmm, those commands don't touch anything but your cid, it just bootlooped like that after super cid? You didn't try flashing a stock ruu or nothing?

ied and pasted the commands, and appered to work fine, it doesnt boot loop, just stays atthe splash screen after little android flies up.

Weird, um reboot into fastboot, use the fastboot command, fastboot getvar cid, let me know what your cid is.

Then dude, I am clueless as to why you're boot is stuck all of a sudden, go into recovery, then tools and fix permissions, go to format and wipe cache+dalvik, reboot and see if it works.

ok, so i just removed the super cid and now it boots. hmmm

Guess it just doesn't like it, been noticing that a lot lately, unless you plan to flash another carriers rom, super cid isn't needed anyway.

Possible file corruption. Download again from another source, and if it keeps happening then extract the .img files and flash from fastboot in this order:
boot, system, userdata, recovery
and see if that fixes it.
Still didn't work is there another way

i just did this 5 minutes ago. i ran the ruu.exe while my phone was in hboot and it didnt even check my current version, worked perfectly, you need to "fastboot oem lock" first though. i was getting errors when i tried to run the ruu while in the android system.
now im trying to figure out how to re-unlock it
edit... wow, that was so easy, i just typed "fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin"
unlocked again
i had the same problem but i got the ruu to run now im updated but now the unlocking is being a ***** (cannot load 'Unlock_code.bin') is what it keeps saying

Ok this might seem dumb but did you type it exactly as I have it in the post above yours, its case sensitive and it needs the _ between the unlock_code. And fastboot oem unlock isn't a valid fastboot command.
Also, which ruu did you use, I think this matters, I used the 2.17 from here http://www.filefactory.com/f/4ef0ef536face67a/
I think its the 7th one down.

[Q] Hboot won't unlock

Okay so I used the SuperCID apk and it converted my CID to a bunch of Twos and then I used the HTC unlock method to unlock my phone. But after I select root my phone I'll void the warranty it boots into Android mode where I reboot it into recovery it says locked. It doesn't say relocked or unlocked it simply says locked like it never unlocked my phone even though it had just said it unlocked it maybe 2 minutes prior. Has anyone else had this problem? How do I fix it?
Can you try to explain what's happening a little bit better.

Okay so I ran the SuperCID from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=36976137 and it changed my CID to 22222222.
I then do "fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin" that I got from HTC and then select Yes on the prompt.
It then boots into normal android mode and then it goes through the normal setup. I then enable the debuging mode and then do
"adb reboot-bootloader" it then reboots into bootloder locked.

If you do a factory reset first from bootloader then unlock, it will work first time every time.......it'll wipe your SD tho. Once you have a custom recovery flashed don't use that method anymore tho

For me. I had to turn phone completely off. Then boot into HBOOT/Fastboot in order for the unlock to work. Make sure fast boot is unchecked in the power options before turning off.
In about three minutes this video should show a HTC DNA not unlocking even with SuperCID change and the correct file to unlock the phone with.
Code:
youtu.be/6P7mQ0rP-ms
Just keep at the command. Keep redoing it until it sticks. Took me 5 tries. Now I'm S-OFF & unlocked...with the OTA. Just keep doing it. It'll stick...eventually.

Thanks a lot turning it completely off actually did the trick. Now my next question is since I had to put on a custom recovery to install Super User now do I install a stock recovery so that it can do over the air updates now that I have S-Off. If it updates my stock rom with OTA will I have to flash a custom rom to root it again or will SU still be there because its S-Off?

I'm not sure why'd you want to take the ota, but yes, you'll need the stock recovery if you want to take it. Then you'll need to install a custom recovery and install a superuser package.
Having s off has nothing to do with superuser or the ota.

OpenDSP-v31.1.0.45.0815

When I goto recovery I goto the TWRP Recovery screen with all the blue boxes.
Apparently I must have deleted my internal SDcard , I cant mount it. It shows 0mb. If I try to click restore it shows nothing on the internal card.
I do however see the Micro SD card.
For awhile, I was able to see the Cyanogen Mod splash screen just spinning, now is just black.
I can boot into Recovery mode.
Any helpful ideas to try. Im guessing I need to get my internal sdcard accessible again somehow?

Lol. I said to preform a wipe, install the Rom, fastboot the boot.img, and restart the phone.
Not sure why you did anything with a token and you don't need to keep flashing recovery. No clue what the other thing is that you're flashing. And you're going to want a much later version of TWRP. Preferably 2.3.3.0+.
So I'll run through this again even though there are guides to all of this.
1. Wipe Cache, Cache/Delvik, Data, and System.
2. Install your ROM.
3. fastboot flash boot boot.img (that's a ROM kernel).
4. Restart your phone.

You need to elaborate on nothing "responding." If touchscreen doesn't work then you need to downgrade using babyracun and S-OFF.

Like delakit said, you must have the 3.16 firmware with the new touch panel. Meaning, you can only use 3.16 based sense ROMs. If you get S-off, you can downgrade your firmware and use any ROM you like.

[Q] HELP. Stuck at HTC Boot Screen

Hi everyone,
I recently tried to flash a new ROM and had to upgrade my HBOOT. After i did so, I continued to flash the rom but probably made a noob move along the way because it got stuck at the HTC boot logo. I turned my phone off and then booted into recovery again but then got the error that 4ext was booting into safe mode because it could not mount the sd card. I did a bit of research and came across a thread that said to reflash 4ext and so I did. Now when I'm trying to boot into recovery, I get stuck at HTC boot logo again. At this point all I can boot into is HBOOT. Is there anything I can do or is my phone pretty much bricked?
My HBOOT version is currently 1.93.002.
Thanks.

Flash the lock boot loader zip as you would if flashing a ROM.
After that, do the RUU instructions, then s-on (fastboot OEM write secure flag 3). It is pretty simple.
