[Q] Team Perfection ICS ROM - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note I717

I realize this question should go in the Developer's forum but I don't have enough posts to post there.
Its a relatively simple question for anyone that knows.
I download and installed this Team Perfection's very good ROM and it works seemingly very well.
Originally , the ROM was 2 files.
TeamPerfection UCLE2 Objection2.zip,
Team_PerfectionS_UCLE2_Objection2RC1.zip (to get S-Voice)
Then with the new release,
TeamPerfection UCLE2 Objection2.zip,
Team Perfection's ICS Objection UCLF5 RC 1.zip
Were the two files. The UCLE2_Objection2RC1 file was over 100M and the UCLF RC1 file was only 50MB or so.. Am I missing something?
DO I need to still install the UCLE2_Objection2RC1 file or is that moot?
Thank you so much.

This has been covered
But ill explain
Forget about the files you have..
Just keep UCLF5 RC1
But there is a file within the OP that you need to flash first that is 600mb ...its within the wording so you have to read the op
Than flash the 50mb file..UCLF5 RC1
Just read next time
And this is in the wrong section as well
Next time you have ha question
Use the Q n A thread

You may not be able to post in there but you are able to read the same question answered 3 or 4 times in that thread.
Sorry not trying to sound harsh but the info was covered in that thread.

I understand but at the same time this forum has over 10000 threads.. so its a bit mind boggling to try to find it but anyway, thank you for the answer.

Doesn't matter how many threads xda has.....it was covered in team perfections very own thread....no other thread matters.....
Go to his newest thread and read....their you will find your answer

Just a tip. Its in the instructions list. Just go to the op and read every word in the instructions list. It is hidden for a reason.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda app-developers app

This is the exact reason he hide the file ..so you would read....

Thanks. I thought only the 600MB is enough. Now flashing the RC1 file.

There is a post on the Litepro ROM thread which leads to the Rarity site.

new thread has opened up... he hadn't reserved enough space for the ROM so had to close it and open a new one, which is up now and it seems a new release is upon us!!

Flash the stock 2.3.4 with root and then flash siyah or entropy's kernel for CWM. There's your spoon feeding for the day
Sent from team Pirate! Using Tapatalk 2
Questions belong in the Q&A forum, not general.
Many of the methods will not work. You can flash a custom kernel which injects root (increments the flash counter.) There is a rooted stock ICS in the original development section (does not increment the flash counter.)
No no no! Creepy, they don't want the EASY way dude. Have u learned nothing? They want to update with kies. So they can make a thread about not being able to update with kies. Then make another about the correct drivers and how kies sucks in general. Then they wanna use that for 2 days , find out how bad it sucks, then try and flash back to something else with Odin. Except they can't get Odin to work. New thread time again! Then once they get that spoon feeding goodness they wanna Odin back to stock and flash a new ROM. Except....wait for it....they're getting status 7 errors cause they're trying to flash a ported i9100 rom! New thread baby!!!

@Phalanx: you missed the part where they use galaxys2root.com and brick their phone, so they create a thread, but since they don't have time to read or search they try to fix the problems by using rom manager, leading to another brick and another thread

You gotta learn to have a thicker skin around here dude, plus I answered your question even though the answer is out there and easy to find (hint: the stickies are full of good info).

You have to understand that these people have learned from hard work and research.. The answers are out there. It doesnt take long to find out. They arent "being dicks". If you think about it, they are helping you because you are obviously are going to have more issues(small or big, still an issue) and if you read these stickies and posts, you wouldnt have any problem fixing them. And that just debloats these threads

No man no I wasn't directing anything at u when I was saying what I said about people not wanting to take the easy way and creating a bunch of threads. I was talking about the loads of people who are already / have done that. Most of us here have inside jokes with one another cause we see each other on here a lot. I would never want anyone to think I don't like them or purposefully hurt someone. Like Nick said u gotta have a thick skin around here, and most of us aren't trying to hurt anyone. Just jabbing each other.

ICS Kernels?

Why the hell do you have to be Sherlock Holmes to find downloads around here? Is it that hard to find a simple ics kernel? Then when you find a thread or file its redirected to another 3 sites just to download it etc. What ever happen to just leaving the most up to date file in the OP of the thread to keep it simple. I understand bandwidth and blah blah but sheesh man. All I'm asking for is a link to a kernel I can run on CM9.1 other than the stock ? Any one care to help?

any real solid jb roms yet?

a month or two ago I tried a whole bunch of jb roms and I couldn't stand a single one for daily use. so buggy. I've been back to ics.. pretty smooth, not exactly great either. are there any truly solid jb roms yet or not really compared to ics?

I suggest taking a look at the thread by flappjaxxx about jb and it will answer a lot of your questions. I do believe it is in the general section
I went to find you a link and it appears to be gone. Sorry answer is they won't be without a few issues here and there until we get an official jb update

[HUMOUR] You know you're rooted when...

I saw this thread in one of the forums and could relate to most of them.. so just post and complete this sentence "You know you're rooted when.."..
had a hearty laugh at some ones.. so thought I should share em with you guys..
Examples:
wscott9903: You know you're rooted when 1/2 of your apps require superuser permission.
feralicious: You know you're rooted when your spouse tells you they're leaving you and taking the kids and you think "perfect timing, (insert dev name here) just released a new ICS ROM".
jayochs: you know you're rooted when your phones buggy as hell lol
putney1477: You know you're rooted when, you husband, wife, significant other gets a new phone and says, don't you dare come near this phone, it works fine!
jackpot08: You know your rooted when when spend more time flashing roms than using your phone..
Add more if you have some good ones. .
Hit the thanks button if you all like it..

You know you're rooted when someone asks you to take a picture, and laugh because the camera isn't working in this nightly.
You know your rooted when your favorite dev hasn't released an update recently and your having flash withdrawl symptoms.

This doesn't really relate to our device. More so a general root thread. Which I think may fit more appropriately in the general forum (not our general forum, the main one not phone specific).
