1.22.10.0421r, 1.22.10.0424r are the radios in the latest leak. (.10) If I recall correctly, no changes from what you have.

Yes and no. No, you can just run one of the new ROMs with the patch that is posted. Yes, you should just update and run the RUU because things will be, in general, much smoother for you. Your choice, though.
What are some of the bugs of the new radio?
Bugs? I've got none. It runs incredibly well. And I'm on the Dev edition of CleanROM.
Or just flash an older ics rom. Cleanrom 3 is based off the old leaks, so you don't have to flash leaked firmware.
i asked because usually you do not have to be on a specific radio to run a rom. i don't really like running leaked radios.

I hear you on the radio part, that's part of the reason I haven't played with the leak yet. I'm always leery of flashing radios.

I've been pretty jittery to flash it but I'm leaning towards the official ota as well.

Unable to update 2.08.651.3 to 2.17 (1.4 s-off)

Hey guys I have 1.4 and S-off, I have no issues running Freezas AIO update. But when I check my software version its stuck on 2.08. I'm also running Mean two three Rom right now. Not sure why its not taking. I'm loading the new radios and what not through bootloader, it all passes, but yeah. Anyway, help? OH yes its also CDMA.

What ROM are you trying to flash after you did the Freeza AIO?
The AIO will only get the phone ready to be flashed to a 2.17 ROM.
So I run bootloader, flash the freeza. Power off, remove my microSD so I can take the PG86IMG off, button combo to bootloader, from their go to recovery, then flash say mean 3.92?
I'm running WarmTwoPointThree right now.

Check in about phone , what PRI and baseband version does it says ?
Also you should flash a ROM based on the latest base 2.17, if you flash old ROMs it will show the old version...
Ok, I'm superwipe and install mean 3.92, I was having a lot of heat issues and reboots with it. Give it another try. I'll report back at least to report what version it says.
Ok, with mean 3.92, it reports as 2.17.615.5 CL245066 release-keys

[FIX]Lost 4G After Radio/HBOOT Change

I'm just seeing how many people are affected by this if they lost their 4G connection and their phone refuses to connect to any 4G or it drops after a minute after connecting?
Option A:
Flash stock recovery (Download Here) and do a factory reset in HBOOT.
Option B:
Now Flash any RUU, GB or ICS. LEAVE EVERYTHING STOCK!. Don't flash anything yet! Now in HBOOT, do a factory reset. Do not factory reset inside of recovery! Thank you. And do not mix hboots and radios
Stuff:
GB RUU: http://goo.im/stock/vigor/ruu
ICS RUU: http://www.androidpolice.com/2012/0...5-brings-a-handful-of-fixes-and-newer-radios/
GB Radio: http://www.mediafire.com/?6s86jwmers710o5
ICS Radio: http://www.mediafire.com/?xvu8g3ucfwzit48

I was able to get my 4G back up after flashing the original RUU_Vigor_VERIZON_WWE_1.02.605.6_Radio_RS_0.95.00.1013r_3161E_9K_NV_8k_1.12_9k_1.83_V_APT_release_221502_signed

yes, the old HBOOT and the New Radios don't work well together. Go back to the GB OTA Radios and it will be solved.
I'm on the latest ICS leak with the newest HBOOT and newest Radios HBOOT 2.21
For those with over heating issues and 4G not stable here is what I did to fix my phone running Newts XxX Sense 4 RC 2.1 Rom:
I flashed the ENG HBOOT, then the old firmware patch as it is required for your ICS rom to work after flashing the ENG HBOOT.
Link to where I downloaded the ENG HBOOT and Old Firmware Patch:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1614366
After I flashed the GB Radios from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1612555
Now my phone is averaging 90-95 degrees Fahrenheit when not charging and the rom is running so much better and I have 4G back and its stable as is WiFi and 3G. So it looks like once you have S-Off this is the solution by flashing the ENG HBOOT and the old firmware patch. The overheating issues everyone is having with the ICS Radios is fixed with downgrading the radios back to GB. Hope this helps

Then you should be fine. But if you just installed "RUU_Vigor_VERIZON_WWE_1.02.605.6_Radio_RS_0.95.00. 1013r_3161E_9K_NV_8k_1.12_9k_1.83_V_APT_release_22 1502_signed" then you're actually on the latest GB HBOOT and Radios, not the ICS leak... In which case you should also now be fine. Its when mixing HBOOT 2.10/2.11 with the latest ICS Leak Radios that you have the problem
you originally described in your first post with regards to 4G connectivity.
I have not installed HBOOT 2.21 and tried them without the old radios yet - but I don't think it would work well either.

Yes It was working with that first RUU. but then I flashed the leaked RUU and now just 3G
EDIT: But I don't get this. 4G was working this morning then I changed the radio and then back and now 4G works no where besides on the GB RUU

You must still be on HBOOT 2.11 somehow. Can you boot into the bootloader and verify the HBOOT version number?

Craziness! I suppose its not beyond the realm of possibility that 4G is having issues in your area...
Can't think of any other issue - unless its literally something that just requires a full wipe to fix. If you can make a nandroid backup, it may be worthwhile to do a wipe and see if that fixes it.

Yeah. My friend has the Charge and her 4G is up. So IDK. I just flashed the GB RUU again and 4G is up and now flashing the Leaked ICS ruu but I'm going to flash it twice
Will the GB radio work on the 2.21 HBOOT possibly?

Not sure.. As I've mentioned I haven't ever loaded the 2.21 HBOOT on my phone. All I've seen are people posting problems so I've avoided it like the plague. Given that like 90% of the people with problems on the forum I've noticed are on HBOOT 2.21, I don't know why'd you keep flashing it...
Got my 4G back up! I am still on the 2.21 HBOOT but I am running the 2.01.605.11 Radios

Yeah I just went through all possible combinations of HBOOT 2.10, 2.11 and all radios... but I still haven't tried HBOOT 2.21 yet. Pretty much all of the combinations I tried worked fine unless it involved the latest ICS leaked radios with any non ICS leak HBOOT, in which case it didn't work well or at all.

where'd you get the 2.21 hboot? I'm with a 4g issue as well since I'm on ics 3.x firmware on CR dev edition with 2.x gb radios on 2.11 hboot

[Q] new ics cdma radio???

I was just wondering if the ics leaks came with a new radio? I'm still on 1.06.00.1216 but I noticed that came with the 2.17 update so did a newer radio come out with the 1.13 build and did it improve anything. Thanks.

the ICS leak came with new firmware, but at this time, it's advised to NOT flash them. you can safely update to the 2.1 firmware, though

[Q] Latest ICS RUU?

I've searched and can't seem to find the definitive answer. Is 3.11.605.22 the latest ICS RUU?
Also, being less than familiar with HTC, is installing the latest ICS RUU what I have to do to get on the latest radios? That seems to be the case, but I want to verify.
Thanks in advance.

The "latest" leaked RUU is: 3.14.605.10 There is a .12 ROM around but I don't think the RUU ever got posted. It said to contain only a couple minor changes. You can get the .10 in the 3rd post here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1757357 They have the current radios.
Your bootloader should be locked.
Thanks.
One more quick question...I noticed there isn't a version of controlbear for 3.14.605.10 on the juopunutbear website. Will one of the other versions work, or do I need to do that while I'm still on GB?
