I've searched and can't seem to find the definitive answer. Is 3.11.605.22 the latest ICS RUU?
Also, being less than familiar with HTC, is installing the latest ICS RUU what I have to do to get on the latest radios? That seems to be the case, but I want to verify.

The "latest" leaked RUU is: 3.14.605.10 There is a .12 ROM around but I don't think the RUU ever got posted. It said to contain only a couple minor changes. You can get the .10 in the 3rd post here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1757357 They have the current radios.
Your bootloader should be locked.

One more quick question...I noticed there isn't a version of controlbear for 3.14.605.10 on the juopunutbear website. Will one of the other versions work, or do I need to do that while I'm still on GB?

Use the one for 3.14.605.5 ... the hboot and radios are the same as in .10 .:good:

If I was to have hboot version 1.50 (S-ON) and the lastest firmwire/software update (Stock) and ran a Older RUU.exe, will that revert me back to older version of HBOOT and firmwire/software.

Nope. Can't revert back.
there is no current way to revert for you. there probably won't ever be. unless someone figures it out when ics is finally here. sorry buddy.

Nothing wrong with hboot 1.5 other then htc dev not to much of a big issue..
Flashing roms and kernels arn't hard...
I am currently running Nils Business ICS Sense 3.6 v3.3 and I am not sure if I am running the new RUU leak. In settings, under build number, it says "3.11.605.22 CL339740 release-keys"
Would flashing the patch that was posted in Nil's OP for the ROM make my phone think i am running 3.11.605.22 even though I am running the old firmware? Or does this mean I installed this new firmware when I recently unlocked my bootloader?

First way to tell is in your bootloader it will say "Tampered" at the top. Second is the version is 2.21.0000. If your phone is working fine then don't worry about flashing the new firmware. Wait for the update.

did you remember ever going into hboot and installing the RUU?
Easiest ways to tell;
Tampered and hboot version as stated above. Also the new radios are 1.xxx, old ones are 0.9xx. All of this info is found in hboot.

i hate to ask this but I just can't get it figured out for sure. I am on Clean Rom 4.3, my build number is: 3.11.605.22. I dont think I've ever done an RUU. I rooted / unlocked with the All in One Toolkit, and then installed CR 4.3, and then did the patch and kernel.
So if I wanna try something else, like BAMF, can I just flash it or is there still the RUU that I need to do?

Just the patch. BAMF is based on the leaked firmware, so just make sure you flash the patch with it. That one will have a special PH img also. It's called PH98IMGoldfirmwarepeople.zip.
EDIT: And if that's your true firmware, you already flashed the RUU. I think that's just the build of the ROM. Go into HBoot and you'll know for sure if you flashed any kind of RUU on your phone. Your HBoot number will be higher.

Perfect. Then you're on the old (official) firmware so you just need to flash the ROM in recovery, the patch, and the PH98IMGoldfirmwarepeople (in bootloader).
EDIT: And just so you know in the future, your HBoot would be 2.21 if you were on the new firmware.
ok cool. is the alternative to just do that entire ruu leaked ics process, and then I'm updated and can just flash roms w/out patches. Is that the better way to go?

Well, that would be an easy way to do things, but because you can use ROMs without it, I would just not do it yet and wait for the official OTA. I updated, but that's just me.

Ok so this is something basic, and so far I keep running into dead ends and dead links while trying to find the latest ICS RUU. Long story short, my resound died, got another one, performed S-Off and Dev Unlocked, now I want my ICS goodness back, could someone link me to the latest working RUU? Thanks in advance!!!
Also BTw I didn't think doing all that would be so quick, did everything except RUU in about 30 min!!

I have been running NILS Business sense 3.6 for a long time. I would like to move to the newest firmware and roms. I really can't remember if I'm using the GB firmware patch or not. I'm on hboot 2.25 with radio 1.22.10.042 and build 3.14.605.10. Could someone please tell me the best method to get this working. Currently S-on with dev unlock. Thanks for any assistance.

You're basically on the previous OTA. If you're s-on I would stay there, since youre more than compatible with 99.9999% of the current roms.
