You may have froze something that wasn't bloatware, check again just to be sure.
Don't freeze more than a couple apps at a time, then use the phone as you normally would & see if everything works. That way if something goes wrong, it's much easier to figure out which is the essential app

the lte switch has nothing to do with phone calls since calls arent made over data. my advice? switch to a rom that is already debloated. save yourself the trouble
Can you list the apps you froze here?

If you are still having connection problems
1. Unfreeze everything
2. Reboot
3. Turn on airplane mode
4. Turn off airplane mode
Sent from my ADR6400L using XDA App
Unfreeze half the apps you froze, see if the problem goes away. If it doesn't, freeze them again and unfreeze the other half.
Keep freezing half at a time, switching to the other half when you cause the problem again and you will very quickly identify which app is causing your issue when frozen.
If you start with 32 apps that you frozen and you freeze the wrong half every time following this process, you will track down the problem in just 10 steps.
Focus on one issue at at time, ie X either works or it doesn't.
If you have more than one issue just repeat the same procedure. You could try and track more than one issue at a time, but that makes a very simple process more complex.
Here is a list of confirmed bloatware that is safe to freeze/remove, just in case: http://forum.androidcentral.com/thu...afe-remove-once-rooted-how-put-them-back.html
Basically do not remove VZW Backup and Friend Stream

Did you do a backup before freezing any apps? If so, load the backup and start again by freezing a few at a time. Or you could just unfreeze all the apps you froze.
When I first rooted my phone I actually moved the apps off my phone onto my sdcard and renamed them. Now I'm running a custom rom and that is working great.
It started when i was shooting a video clip.
When I pressed stop record it stalled. Then Force close message on camera app came up.
When trying to restart camera it "could not connect to camera", so I rebooted the phone.
During boot, right at the place where I enter pin code I get a Force close on process com.android.phone.
Can´t get passed this point, it skips pin code part into UI, but com.android.phone crash loops as soon as I press force close, can´t really operate anything else.
I thought it was SD card that had died, but it behaves the same with it pulled out. And I can reach it and download data from it via USB to PC
Anyone have any ideas what to do?
I´m on a HD2 using nand BOYPPC MIUI V26 (09.Nov)
Thanks for any replies

Doesnt help with airplane mode.
Its really hard to browse around with the crash message constantly popping up. I have ms to push buttons.
Where is this "clear SMS data"? no result even with Search.

was hoping to not have to loose all my added apps and settings...
Will see if I can manage a magldr backup then restore selected parts perhaps?
Doing a backup now.
what part will com.android.phone be in? System?
if so is it possible to restore all but System? will my previous apps work after reflash?
Edit: Well, I tried it and actually it seems to work to restore /Data
Got all my apps and messages etc back.
Thanks for your time.

I was also wondering if there was some sort of reset. Although, powering down and back up is fairly quick, so it's not that much of a problem for me.
Titanium backup and Chainfire is what I probably like best from rooting.

Backing up is a pretty damn good use Especially when an app update causes crashes, I can revert to a previous working backup.
Freezing apps is also awesome. I can disable bloat without having to physically delete apps, and I can re-enable them when I want to do OTA updates.
Those two things alone make the premium license worth the price.

i got a response on the transformer forums.
"Keep holding the power button (about 10-12 seconds) and the screen will go black, and then start back up. "
back to titanium, freezing apps essentially stops the apps from running in the background?

Thanks for that piece of info!
Yes, freezing apps stops them from running in the background 99% of the time. The 1% of the time they don't stop running is when another app that isn't frozen opens them.
Freezing an app basically makes the system think it's not there, even though they are not physically deleted. Then OTA updating is as simple as unfreezing the apps.
I have installed Street Fighter IV on my device. Want to download game data on device itself. problem is that it needs to keep screen awake for doing so. I am afraid I will get a burn in, keeping it awake overnight. Any solution. ?

Suppose I download game data on torrent and just copy it to my device in appropriate folder, will it work ? I saw a description which used Titanium Backup. Mine is not rooted. do I need to use Titanium App?

No your screen will not get burned if you let it awake but it'll drain your battery so you'll have to connect to a power source.

If you copy it to the correct destination, it should work... They might mentioned the TB mod, cause it's much easier just to tap restore, and you dont have to google for the destination, it takes it to the correct place
Don't do that.
Use torrent or something else.
Coz one I was on YouTube in portrait mode for at least 1/2 hour... half of my screen got burnt with a blue shade. Thankfully it has gone now after a week (it ideally can't go... but I might have reversed burned it without knowing). Try your best not to burn it, it will look ugly and might need to be replaced.

Screen burn occurs when you take a photo of the sun at a specific angle. According to my knowledge. Correct me if I am wrong.
Couldn't you just use this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nkahoang.screenstandby it puts the display off and keeps the phone on. Also i have done this loads of times and no sign of burn in. Oops sorry just read you're not rooted it may not work

Wifi Sleep

I keep getting a notification that tells me about unauthorized access to part of my phone and I need to update to the latest security. I try to update and it tells me I don't need to update because I have already installed the latest security. I keep getting the notification over and over... anyone else having this issue?
Yep, been getting it all day. Seems to be coming from KNOX app that cannot be uninstalled. I have notifications turned off, too. Doesn't matter that I did the "update" or hit cancel. Google+ posters are saying its' a known bug.

Yeah i got rid of it with wanam xposed. You need to have preserved root and install xposed framework, which works perfectly so far by the way.
Edit: in security hacks section, disable know notifications.

This. I lost my root a couple updates ago and I'm still getting the security notification all the time. It's annoying and I don't want to install whatever software it's pushing on me because I don't know what it is and don't think I need it.
From what I have been reading, if you try to install what it's pushing, it will tell you that it's already up to date. If posts I have seen can be believed, Samsung knows there is a problem and is supposedly working on a fix. Seems to be tied to connecting to different WiFi networks. I don't have the problem, but my wife does, strangely enough.

Fixes and Question
I second the Wanam disable notifications method. However, I am a bit concerned that KNOX is actually preventing some system actions. For instance, Greenify was not able to hibernate a couple of apps on boot. Aside from the Wanam method there are several other options:
Play Store Option: Here
Terminal Emulator Option: Here
Titanium Back-up Option: From Driod Views
Open TB when it is installed and freeze the following apps:
com.sec.enterprise.knox.attestation
com.sec.knox.eventsmanager
KLMS Agent
KNOX
Knox Notification Manager
KNOX Store
My question is, what are the disadvantages to the methods that actually disable KNOX and not just notifications? Am I putting data at risk, and will I lose any other functionality?
Cheers!

As far as I know, this only happens if you still have partial root files or root-using apps or their data left on your phone after flashing a data-preserving wipe file with Odin.
To clarify, if you had ME7, for example, and had root, BusyBox/Terminal Emulator, and the like, and used a Odin image modded to not wipe data, then youd be left without root, but with apps still trying to get root. SuperSU would still have these apps in its list, and theyd query it for root access, and could not get it. The notification says its trying to access system, because the root file would be in system.
Also, if you had Triangle Away and had it set to periodically try and reset the flash counter to say Official, it would keep trying to access system, but SELinux wouldnt let it.
The only fix Ive found is to do a factory reset.

Well, if you dont mind doing another wipe, try the emergency recovery ODIN file, found here
If you never had root before on that device, maybe you had some app that can utilize root, or maybe you have an app using device admin rights? Lookout Antivirus requires admin or root access for some features, do you have any apps like that?

I'm not going to wipe it again. Samsung said this is a known bug and they are pushing through a fix, so I'll try to be patient. The only app I have is Avast Antivirus. This seems to be related to Knox that Samsung included in the update. So that is on here too and cannot be disabled.

Avast is not related to Knox at all. No apps are related to Knox unless they have the small yellow lock icon on the bottom right corner. However, if Avast has that lock icon, it will only work in Knox mode, and will only scan files created while in Knox mode.
I cant make you do anything, but I strongly recommend that you wipe the phone again, especially since the only app you have is Avast so far. I only factory resetted, and while that did stop the notifications for me, it didnt fix the bug itself. Now my phone shows a counter of 2 in the bootloader, even though I never flashed any unofficial ROMs.
Just because Samsung says its a bug and will send out a fix doesnt mean you can rest easy. Thats like having a gas leak, and the company tells you dont worry, we will send you a patch to plug the hole. Yeah, youll have it plugged eventually, but for now your house is gonna fill with gas, and then its gonna explode. Im just looking out for you in the future. I doubt you would want to lose your warranty so soon.

I appreciate your concern. For some reason, I stopped getting the notifications, for now. I've done some further research. Avast has no lock icon. I went into download mode and determined that I have not lost my warranty. I don't want to factory reset because I don't believe it will resolve the issue as it is a bug within Knox, and because it takes me way too much time to customize my phone. I have approximately 100 apps, Avast just happens to be the only one under administrator. When I factory reset it after the ota, I did it multiple times anyway. From what I've been reading, this is happening on both rooted and stock devices.
