Good day people!
Last week I was having troubles with my camera on my HTC Titan and now the camera is, sort of "dead".
Exactly a week ago I wanted to use my camera to take a picture and when I turned it on the screen was black and when I tried to take a picture the phone was focusing for a long time and nothing happened, nevertheless I was able to see the pictures I have made previously. After I switched the camera on and off for a few times everything returned to normal state till today! I wanted to take another great picture and had the same problem - black screen. I turned the camera on and off a couple of times and then it just started auto-closing. I turned the phone off and then on - same thing. Switched the phone off and took out the battery - no changes! Now, when I push the camera shutter button - the app just auto-closes and I cant take pictures...
I am frustrated with this issue! The phone is great and this is my first major issue since I bought it in February.
I would appreciate any advice that You guys might have!
OS version: 7.10.8107.79
Best wishes,
Renars.
Forced the update on my Titan and camera is working again!

Hi, ive had my Lumia 800 for a week now and must say im loving it. I switched from an iPhone and it was the Metro Interface that did it for me. I got the Lumia 800 but im having the following issues:
Touch Screen Issues
Ive noticed when scrolling around the screen launches things without me clicking. Simply moving my finer over clicks a link on web pages for example. At first i thought it was me and my fat fingers. But then ive noticed that if i press the back button the phone vibrates 2-3 times. If i then press and hold the back button the seems to be pressing it over and over again. Its very strange, If i press really hard it doesnt happen. Anyone else having this problem? Im hoping the recent firmware update resolves this but its not available for me yet.
Camera "PINK" Spot
Ive also noticed that the camera has a "Pink Spot" right on the centre of the screen, Its hard to notice when taking normal picture, but then when i hold up to white background its very clear. Anyone else having this issue.
Battery (resolved)
When i first got the phone my battery performance was very poor. After a full charge i only got 10 hours use. But it got better each day and after 1 week im now getting about 35 hours on general usage. This includes Wifi always on, 1 gmail account using push, bluetooth off, loads of txts and few calls a day.
Anyway, those are my issues, if anyone else has any thoughts on this it would be much appreciated.
Yes the capacitve screen is a bit too sensitive, can probably be fixed in the same way as other phones that have had this issue with software.
Pink spot isnt that bad on here, seems all camera phones suffer from this in certain lighting the iPhone 4 being the worst with its massive blue blob in the middle of photos
So I got the V10 on T-Mobile the day it was announced that the bootloader was factory unlockable. I love it so far with one somewhat concerning exception (apart from the laughable battery life but *shrug*): the majority of the time when I try to use the back camera, I'm not able to focus it. In auto mode tapping to focus does nothing. In manual mode sliding the focus dial also does nothing. Third party camera apps won't focus either. I have to pull the battery and reboot and it *might* work then, and if it does it'll only work the first time I open the camera. Front cameras work fine and the focus on the back camera when it works is excellent. Has anybody else run into this or know if it's worth messing with or if I should just exchange it?
Also for clarification I was running the stock rom (rooted) but with very little frozen. Switched to black hole yesterday (triple wipe) which has been lightning fast so far but having the same issue.
Thanks!
Same
Got it last week and Ive been having the same problem. I dont have many apps but I do let my battery drain due to laziness. Thats the only bad thing I do. I'm thinking of exchanging it because ive also messed with all the settings in the manual camera and nothing. Its set to a very close 1 inch distance to focus well. Front camera works marvelous.

Yeah close focus is exactly the problem. I can take passable pictures of stuff right in front of me by physically moving the phone closer and further until it's in focus but that's useless. I'm going to go by the T-Mobile store this evening or tomorrow and see what they say.
Hi, my "great" z5 compact camera broke like 1 week ago without any actual problem, the app were crashing all the time, any other app said the camera is already used, the diagnostics said that camera is "not available", and even the flashlight button on quick settings menu didnt work, lovely. I waited for some time and woke up today to working camera and no longer shy flashlight button, but the camera doesnt switch to any mode else than 5 mp "superior" auto, just crashes. When it crashed the flashlight disappeared again, but still works in the auto mode and i cant even disable it. Funny part is when i moved when making a photo, the autofocus started buzzing like crazy, vibrating the whole phone with it. i would love some help with my "premium high quality" smartphone. Thanks
Now after my autofocus got heart attack it went to the starting point, when the camera will decide to work again(and after this incident im not sure if it will) im not going to use my camera and let it sit for some time

I'd try a software repair using Xperia companion. This should at least determine if it's software or hardware. If you do this, I'd recommend a complete wipe.

I forgot to mention that once i tried opening the app, it showed like a fountain of rainbow pixels sliding across my screen ( as the camera view, it didnt cover the buttons) i dont know i this makes it easier to distinguish if its software or hardware but just mentioning, also when i went to messenger app and tried to make a photo it was alright.
Hi, iv'e been a reader on Xda for some time but since i haven't seen any solved forum about this, i had to do it.
The problem is that in the front camera of my Xperoa X, f5121, Android 7.1.1 (I have it from a long time ago, but i just started using the front camera), no matter how i change the settings, the soft skin effect still on even if i turn it off. I compared it with my brother's Xperoa M5 and that one i jjust normal.
To be precise, the problem is in the process of taking the photo, because when the camera is showing the image it looks just fine, but after it takes it, the final picture on the album has the soft skin on it.
Ps: My phone is not rooted or anything, but if there's any non-dangerous root, i'd like to know
Thanks
I got this phone today, and am having a weird issue with the camera. I take a picture, go to review it by tapping the image when it pops up at the bottom right, but I can only view it for a few seconds before it automatically takes me back to the camera. This happens every time, and I'm not sure if this is how it's supposed to work?
I bought the phone a few days ago too and it doesn't happen to me. Couldn't find any setting that may be causing it either, sorry
