[Q] Volume Skip Song - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all,
I've been away from the android scene for a while (I turned to iPhone)
I remember on my last Android phone, and my iPhone with tweaks I was able to change song by holding the volume buttons (up = next song, down = prev song)
Is there a tweak to do this on the S3 yet? I have had searched but can't find anything relating to the S3 and this tweak.
Thanks

Monster Beats Control Talk feature

Is there someone out there who has used these headphones with a Hero? Does the Control Talk feature work?
Can't find your particular model that quick but -->
Used to have V-Moda Vibe Duo with a single control button.
A lot of music players (at least cube, htc player, I assume DoubleTwist...) are able to interpret clicks on that button:
- single click = play/pause
- Double click = next song
- triple click might have been something, although I am unsure...
And while listening music -> incoming call --> Push button to answer, hold button to hang.
It was very comfortable to be able to have decent quality music + be able to have some control over the phone, but the double clicking was rather annoying, didn't always work (paused the song instead of skipping)
Nice looking brand by the way

[Q] Adjust Volume When Locked

Hey Folks,
I'm not able to adjust my volume or long press the up volume button to skip songs when I have the screen locked. Is this the way it is or is it just me?
The apps in question are Google Music Beta & Doggcatcher. I know for a fact that Music Beta allows for song skipping (not too important in doggcatcher). I just "upgraded" from an N1 running CM7 so that may be it and I may be spoiled. I thought that, at the very least, I'd be able to adjust the volume while the phone's in my pocket.
My X2 is the same way. I have to turn the screen on to adjust the volume. I hope it's a software issue that can be fixed.
I just found an acceptable work around. I installed Widget Locker and enabled any hardware button to wake the device. The screen wakes (but doesn't unlock) and the volume can be adjusted by just pushing the rocker.

[Q] Headset volume control

Hello everyone,
I'm using a custom ROM on my Galaxy S II > Resurrection Remix v1.0 pro.
Before that i used stock gingerbread and my headset VolumeUP and VolumeDown buttons by default have been used for changing songs (Next/Prev). Now that's changed and its by default used to control volume (As it is supposed to do) but i want to use it like on old Android for changing songs because my volume is always at 100% .
If there is any way i can change it again please, tell me how. Its kinda annoying to take my phone out and in a pocket every time i need to change a song.
Thanks.
I have the same problem on stock ICS.
I prefer Next/Prev instead of Volume up/down.
Wait for JKAY mod
That supported the change songs like that on stock
Nothing yet ...

[Q] - Youtube link, volume steps and button control

Hi guys!
After using Android for some months now, I'm having some questions (that google coudn't answer).
1) How can we copy links in the new YouTube app? I can only share them on Twitter/Facebook/Dropbox/etc...
2) Is an app/tweak available to increace the amounts of steps of the volume bar?
Sometimes it happens that the lowest volume is still kinda loud. So it would be helpfull if I could reduce the volume even more, without muting it.
3) Aren't there any apps that can emulate the control of the Apple earphones control thing? The only button that works is the play/pause button.
The only apps I can find, can only use 1 button (like press the button 5 times to go to the next track). That's kinda unhandy.
Tips/Solutions are appreciated!
Matt

question about butons

Hey there, I don't know if I should post this in other subforum, probably yes, but I don't know where so here I go.
I was wondering if there is any way to assign to a fisical butom this specific action, I would love if I could mark as "Liked" or add to a playlist a song in poweramp(or any other player) with the screen off holding volume down(or any other buttom). The thing is that I have tons of music, and I mostly listen it when in my bike, so I cant pull the phone out of my pocket to check wich song I liked, to skip tracks I press volume up in Temaseks CM13 and its quite usefull. I checked online and I cant find anything related so I asume its not posible but maybe you know a way.
Thank you in advance and sorry for my 5 year old english
