[Q] Screen making clicking noise

Has anybody noticed a clicking noise...maybe like the screen adhesive or whatnot coming off of the case? The location for me is top right corner right above the right speaker. I don't know if it is the case or the screen but I definitely feel some movement....This along with my previous question of not being able to click on certain pop ups...maybe I have a defective unit?
I have a similar issue near my left speaker. However, it is only an issue if I press too hard. My guess is that its difficult to get a perfect glue job on a unit this thin.

Mic and understanding on the phone..

I'm having a problem talking to people on my razr. They alsways complain about barely understanding me although I'm talking slow and clear, not screaming of course but normal talking.
So I took a look at the razr: the mic hole is not in the middle of the phone and I usually hold the phone with left hand to left ear and then the mic is more far away from the mouth than the other way round. Can this really be a problem? Doeas anyone else (favorable in europe or even switzerland) regonize such a problem?
I also hold my Razr in the left hand to the left ear and it`s no problem. Seems that something is wrong with your mic.

I Agree... mic problem most likely
To be safe, you might want to check and make sure that your noise canceling microphone ports (the little hole in the back bottom right and the little slit top center near the flash) aren't being obstructed, either by a case or your hand.
The distance of the mic from your mouth is not a problem. If you've ever put your ear to someone's cheek while they were talking you'd find it to be pretty loud
I have the same problem, however not always, seems to me that rebooting the phone helps, have you tried that? (I am in Sweden)

Like marsonist said, the distance between MIC and mouth doesn't matter (well, not when the phone is on your face... obviously if you talk at 100 meters of distance, well... hehm..) but anyway other than checking if the noise cancellation MIC is obstructed, check that the MIC isn't being obstructed by YOUR FACE when using it.
If it isn't being obstructed by your face and there isn't any visual problem, try a factory reset. If the problem persists, this is an hardware problem: I haven't got any problem with it and the person on the other part that is listening to my voice says that it is crystal clear and exactly perfect.
Obviously, if it turns to be an hardware problem you have the right to use your warranty.

[Q] cracking sound?

Dear Users,
I have a problem with my SGSIII white which I received this morning.
When I tap a bit stronger on the upper half of the screen the frame makes a quiet but audible cracking sound creaking/squeak sound. When I squeeze the top part of the frame tightly with both fingers and tap again the noise is gone. It seems that the frame is a bit loose.
This is very annoying when working with the phone. Please can you tap a bit harder on the top part of the screen and listen closely if you hear a difference between tapping on the lower part of the screen.
I am bummed out that such a premium phone fails on such basic criteria.
Would be delighted to hear your thoughts.
Would you return the unit
Return it straight away. You have a duff handset. When you do get a new one you will love it.

have you tried simulating my problem with your unit? I suspect that all units have this problem for some reason. It's a mild 'clicking' sound it makes

can you make a video and show us?
Why do you assume since you have the problem everyone else does?

As I said you have a faulty handset. Implying that no such problem exists on my unit.

PS: The name of this thread makes no sense at all, you seem to have some anger issues just by reading the name of this thread
No such defect in my phone.

You sure you bought the S3 and not the One X by mistake?
Like the others have said you have definitely got a faulty handset. If you pop the back battery cover, just double check all the screws are tight.

Fabulous
My S3 is great. Post very misleading, we can only guess why.Last post on this lost leader.

[Q] Speakrphone issues [SOLVED]

Everyone says it is very difficult to hear me on the speakerphone and that I sound distant or garbled. Anyone else experiencing issues with using the speakerphone? I have a silver One from launch day on AT&T.
I'm not sure if it is my phone or a common problem. A friend of mine has a black HTC one and his speakerphone sounds fine.
I have no issue when not using the speakerphone.
Thanks
I got the same complaint when new with the phone. I researched and it seems the noise cancelling mic on the back can make this occur when lying on a flat surface (face up, back on surface). I make sure I don't have it lying flat and speak into the mic on the bottom. Usually I hold it. Haven't had any complaints since. YMMV.

Other Possibility
Then there is this thread in the Sprint HTC One forum. Hmmmm.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2262648
For some reason, I feel like my old Galaxy Note had better call quality than my One. I never had to repeat and raise my voice as much as I do now. I don't like the microphone placement because my left pinky tends to cover it when I take calls. It would've made more sense if the Mic was in the center since the charging port is more to the side.

My issue was the ZAG Invisible shield on the back of the phone was covering the Noise cancellation mic. Even though it looked like the the little square cut out and removed it was not. Apparently this can caused the problem as well. Hope this helps. You can test this by covering the noise cancellation mic while on speaker phone.

Call Sound

Anybody else having issues with you sound muffled when talking to somebody? I get randomly people telling me I sound muffled and not clear but other times the sound is clear.
Many times people say they can't hear me at all. I think I may have to look at how I hold the phone. I usually have my pinky finger under the bottom of the phone. When holding the phone in my left hand, this covers the small pinhole on the bottom. For some reason I thought the Mic was in the speaker grill.

From what I see its the ambient noise pinhole next to the camera. Whenever I use my shoulders to hold the phone so I can use my hands to lets say... surf the internet and check email on my computer the person on the other line keeps saying they cannot hear me.
