do i call sprint to return this thing or do i go back to radio shack? it just isn't what i thought it was gonna be and i feel we are gonna be stuck in the same hole as the rest of the new phones unrooted i miss wifi tether and i am having withdrawls
No disrespect, but have you tried calling Radio Shack and asking?
yeah got to wait on manager and the tech said i most likely will be stuck with the phone unless it was defective. i just didn't know if anyone had any luck with returning to sprint a phone you got at radio shack.
You should have 30 days to return the phone to RS if you are not happy with it. Has nothing to due with defects.
I don't see why you can't return a device you don't want within 30 days. I'm sure you would have to pay a restocking fee though.
Try reading the receipt? Not trying to be rude but this is kind of silly.
Any and all phones purchased anywhere have a 30 day return policy. Its even in your sprint upgrade contract. Sprint 30 day guarantee.
If they try telling you some bullcrap about it needing to be defective , its a lie.
Its written in your contract, its on their receipt. Long as the phone is still in like-new condition there is no doubt about it.
MAKE SURE THEY CALL SPRINT FOR YOU TO REVERSE YOUR UPGRADE BEFORE YOU LEAVE!
This is the number one issue I see with Radioshack stores and returns. The employees are already pissed for the return, but they are the only ones who can reverse your upgrade. Sprint can not.
My prime has some pretty bad wifi problems I have 50 up 50 down and I'm only getting like 6 up 6 down on my device from like 20 ft away from my router, it's a brand new router its not the routers fault, wireless N and that great stuff. So the question is do I have to send it in to get a new one and wait who knows how long or can I wait till they have them instore and then just bring it in and get handed a new one?
From what I understand you can return it in a store, but you won't get an exchange until they have them in stock. I believe BB return policy is 14 days from purchase. So you might be able to get your money back and then either wait to get one in stock or depending how they return the money, go back on line and order another one. I'm pretty sure if you return it in stores now you will have a little time in between before you receive your new one.
This is one reason I am waiting. Actually the biggest reason is because I want BB to have champagne online, but also if it has issue, I would hope to exchange it in the store. The key is the 14 day return policy though!

With the announcement of the tf700t it feels like Asus is forking me over does anyone know if is possible to get my moneyback from gamestop?
I just came back from GS to return mine. As long as you have the recept and it is still within the return policy then you should be good. Just explain that GPS doesn't work and one of the main selling points was the stand alone GPS. That's what I explained and the fact that it will randomly shut down and not turn on until after several attempts. The employee called someone on the phone and when she got off she asked for my Visa card that I used to purchase it. Cool thing about this is that not only I was able to return it, I still somehow have the points that I earned for purchasing it. I guess it's also good that they know nothing about the product that they sold because they weren't a tablet store.
I'm still within the 30 day window but they had told me their return policy was exchange only.

Don't except that. Your not returning a preowned game. This is a PC hardware that is defective. If you have to speak to the store manager. Selling a defective product is legitimate and calls for a refund.
Hello everybody,
I wanted to ask if anybody has had success in giving their german Prime back to the vendor or to ASUS for a full refund?
I'm quite sick of waiting for updates when this product is actually supposed to work right from the start.
What are you asking? Is there a difference between refunding a German device compared to other countries.
If you have a return window still open, there should not be any problem.
Yes, it is uncommon for german companies to issue refunds without having the ability to try to repair the device three times. So if you want to get your money back you'd first have to RMA it three times, which is ridiculous.
German law grants you a period of 14 days from purchase no matter at which german vendor you bought your device to return it free of charge and no-questions-asked. That period has long expired for my Prime unfortunately.
Advertised they GPS on your box or on the Site/Shop?
If yes then you can use this as a reason for a refund. Asus said that they will not repair GPS.
I ordered via amazon.de and returned it within the 30day window. I just checked my mails and received full refund.

This is maybe if you have issues, they try to repair, same here in DK.
BUT, as another person wrote, GPS "issue" can open a window for you for refund.
Will Sprint handle warranty issues for the first 90 days on the LTE? I am 3 days past the 30 day exchange with Best Buy and they are estimating 30 days to "fix" mine. If I go to Sprint will they honor the 90 day manufacturer warranty and replace or repair it in a more timely manner?
I purchase devices from bestbuy and always have Sprint service them.

Wait. I thought that best buy had adopted a replacement policy with phones that needed repair?

Sprint has a 14 day return policy on phones they sold. If there is a manufacture warrenty of 90 day that would have to go through HTC. What's wrong with the phone? A repair store will fix/replace it for $35 as long as it is not broken or liquid damage
Cell phone providers are not like normal retail outlets. If the manufacturer offers a longer warranty, you must go through them, not the carrier.
Just got back from the Sprint Store. have to either go through manufacturer or can leave it with them, if they can duplicate the problem they can order a replacement for $35.00

I shattered my screen and took to to Best Buy and I was given 3-5 days, 30 days, and then a couple days. Eventually I dropped it off at a Best Buy Mobile in Portland, they had a NEW phone for me in 22 hours.
What they told me is that there is 2 repair processed. Rapid exchange, when they send out a new or refurb unit the minute the broken phone is put into the system. The other is repair, that is the 3-5 day one, which can take up to 30 days.
So ask them to do a repaid exchange.
