Didn't see a thread for this even though I saw some discussions floating around.
http://www.filefactory.com/f/4ef0ef536face67a (Evo3D RUU repository) has the Rogers ICS update available in the RUU format.
RUU_SHOOTER_U_ICS_35_S_Rogers_WWE_3.28.631.1_Radio_11.77.3504... is the file you are looking for. You end up with the Rogers ICS update after installing this.
Installing this wiped my Android install, but my internal memory (SD FAT) was untouched.
I updated from Gingerbread with S-OFF 1.49.1007 to this ROM successfully by renaming rom.zip to PG86IMG.zip into the internal 'SD' memory's root directory.
My CID was ROGERS001 to begin with, so I didn't have to make any changes for the RUU to install itself.
You can get this file by running the exe file from Windows and by looking in the temporary directory created by the setup utility.
If you type "%tmp%" into your 'Run' prompt from Windows, you will open the parent directory of the temporary directory where you can find this file.
I started from S-OFF and ended up with S-OFF but 'locked'. I finally did HTCDEV unlock after this, and ended up with S-OFF unlocked without having to do anything else.
This should be in general

Ok so I'm trying to flash Clean Rom ICS 1/22 version
I did all the steps they said to in the instructions "I also made sure I had no PH files or I made sure I already deleted them"
I keep getting this
Main version is older!
update fail
press <power to rebot>
I then have to take the sd card out, get into recovery, put sd card back in and then USB mount the sd card to erase the ph file that the rom installed..
I'm so frustrated by this.
I was currently running the rom below with a custom kernal

I did the same thing... What I've done is downloaded a few ROMs to my SDcard, but I've edited the .zip before putting them on. I went into the kernel folder, and edited the android-info.txt to match that leaked mainver number. After I saved that file, i went into the PH98IMG.zip and edited the android-info.txt file in there. Now I don't have to worry about getting stuck if I don't have a computer handy to do a fastboot
The next OTA update will fix this big mess, and hopefully we all learn from this lol. I sure have!

Make sure to copy the PH85IMG to your external sdcard before you do the relock bootloader or else you will have to use a usb adapter to copy it to your external sdcard because you cant access the micro sdcard from hboot menu

How to Relock bootloader win/linux (required to restore back to stock)

Thanks for the explanation and files xboarder56.
I have a problem here with an Amaze T-mobile, Hboot 1.90.004, it was bootloader unlocked and came with custom recovery. I flashed stock recovery using hasoon's all in one toolkit, and flashed stock 1.43 kernel before i relocked the bootloader. Now, the hboot checks the PH85IMG.zip on the sdcard but it doesn't ask whether if i want to update. I've triple downloaded files to sd card, changed sd cards thinking they might be corrupted but that wasn't the case.
What should i do to this Amaze to ask me if i want to update using PH85IMG.zip.
I tried both 1.36 and 1.43 ph85imgs, but no go...
Try 1.36 again

Any idea where I can find the OTA update?
If I understand this correct, I flash the stock rom, then apply the update to relock bootloader?
Closed at OP request
Could anyone run the following RUU
RUU_Flyer_HC_S_HTC_WWE_3.55.405.1_Radio_20.4801.30.0822U_3822.10.08.07_M_release_226690_signed
and extract the .zip files for me? My flyer is stuck in hboot and fastboot, cant detect it in adb to flash new boot/recovery.img so am trying to force the flash from an external sd.
I cant run the ruu long enough to get at the .zip files as it stops after detecting my flyer, doesnt like the state it is in.
I have attached a process monitor app, in the filters tab create one called rom.zip and as the RUU runs, the .zip files should appear in the process monitor window, hit jump to and you should be able to access and copy the files.
Hopefully once i can copy the files to my sd, hboot should flash them and bobs your proverbial.
I realise most devs would use adb but it just isnt happening for me, a bit of reading some threads and suggestions from devs has got me thus far, so i will let you know how i get on if someone can post these zip files for me.
Does anybody have the 3.14.605.12_PH98IMG.zip i locked my device and planning on flashing it or is there a newer file android police files say they are deleted
Also when i downloaded the one from shipped roms it says bad zip file on my tablet and on the pc
When i download witchever PH98IMG file on my pc it says windows cannot open file bad file
Android Police still has the 3.14.605.12 RUU available for download...
http://www.androidpolice.com/2012/08/02/exclusive-download-htc-rezound-ice-cream-sandwich-ruu-for-final-ota-3-14-605-12/
And you don't need to open the file from within Windows, only rename it to PH98IMG.zip and place it on the root of your SD card.

Thank you guys
Hello all, I have a Rooted, S-Off Sprint HTC Evo 4g LTE. I just updated the firmware to latest, then wiped the phones cache/dalvik cache/system/etc and tried installing 3.16.651.3 (latest afaik) which is stock/odexed/rooted. Phone will not boot past the "HTC Quietly Brilliant" screen. What do i do?
also just updated to TWRP 2.5.0.0
OK so I have TWRP 2.5.0.0 with both the latest firmware package and the latest software package on the root of my SD card. When I mount the sd card I can change the name of the packages to PJ75IMG.zip. Once I do that, I unmount the storage and reboot into bootloader and it says "no image or wrong image" for both the firmware package and the software package when they're clear as day properly named and in the proper location. IDK what to do to restore this phone. Its been wiped clean and as of now is as good as a paperweight. PLEASE HELP QUICKLY!
Do you have two PJ75IMG's on your external SD? You can only do one at a time.
Also, make sure you're not renaming them to PJ75IMG.zip.zip... Windows will sometimes hide extensions for known file types. So if windows knows its a .zip file, it won't show the .zip, and you'll rename it with a .zip at the end, and then windows will add another .zip....
Just a few things to consider...
What two files are you trying to install? I'm guessing firmware is one, but what's the other?
Also, are you sure your phone is S-off?
+1 to what was stated above. You can only install one PJ75IMG from the root of your SD card at a time, otherwise the installation will fail.
