what would be the best ROM
what ones are compatible
is it possable to get a list in tread just for virgin or something along them lines.. with a sticky or something im sure theres tons of virgin users by now and yet theres no love on here at all
Try howardforums.com
They have an active Virgin sub forum.
Activate communities in both android forums and vmroms. Both have custom roms built specifically for the evo v, android forums has more butt I am currently using harmonia from vmroms.

I was thinking since our phone is so similar wouldn't it be possible once we have s-off to flash roms for the sensation also?

no..............
Never. Never would you ever be able to flash a ROM from another phone onto yours without porting.
FAIL.....10chars
Even though they are similar, I believe the major thing is the GSM radio vs CDMA radio. It would mean that porting a sensation rom would be much easier than say porting a Moto droid rom.
Hopefully a Hero guy will chime in here with tons more info. They had a GSM counterpart too.
By the way FAIL and No........ is of no help to anybody and just means wasted scrolling to find any real info.
We had a some gsm stuff on the heroc but also a great deal from the eris (verizons heroc clone)

Not sure if it's the same, but I remember when I had my Inspire 4G, I flashed several ROMs from the Desire HD forums
I was wondering if the Evo V 4G (aka Evo 3D) would get a development forum once it releases on Virgin Mobile USA. I would like to see a root method, and custom roms after its release.

Ladies and Gents,
Does anyone know who I can contact to request the addition of s sub forum under HTC Evo 3d for Virgin Mobile Android Development? I have thested the Sprint roms (which work) without MMS, and would like to spur the community to create VM specific versions.

Might not be necessary considering it's already a CDMA model, and that's where you're currently posting.

Yes and no. The software is that odd mix of Sense 3.6 and ICS that's in the leak ROM. But otherwise development for the Sprint phone is based on HC and Sense 3.whatever. So anything that modifies existing /system files has a good chance of not working properly on the new VM phone. OTOH, mods that add to /system work just fine.

Hey guys,
I am on virgin mobile and thinking about getting the Evo V. I believe the Evo V is the same as the Evo 3d but not sure. I tried looking around the forum but it is so large so I thought I would just ask.
Is the Evo V the same as the CDMA Evo 3d and are there good roms out there for it. Right now I have the HTC One V running AOKP JB. I would like the Evo V for 4G, but I see alot of Roms don't have the 4G working. So my question would be, is the Evo V work with CDMA Evo 3d Roms and clockwork recoveries and if I switch are there good Rom (hopefully AOKP JB) out there for it, with working 4G?
Thanks
There are a few good VM ROMs. Unfortunately, they aren't on XDA. I'm Sprint, but I think one is called Midnight ROM. There are other forums out there for Virgin Mobile users.

Thanks
I'm new to flashing ROM's but have had success so far. Currently I am running Cyanogenmod 10.1 Android 4.2.2 jellybean on a Virgin Mobile HTC Evo 3d and love it.....Really the only thing that i am wondering is, when i look thru the list of ROM's here in the EVO 3D CDMA Android Development section can i run any of these that are for cdma or does it have to be specific to Virgin Mobile. I know some Sprint users have had issues running a ROM i seen that was Virgin only. Any help would be much appreciated.
Below are a few ROM's i was looking at trying but wasnt sure if i could.
