Hi ThilinaC,
first of all...congratulations, great rom, i really love it and thank you for doing a great job.
I just flashed your rom as written in the instructions and everything works fine except that i cannot get the xloud enabled. After i exit the sound setting panel it disables itself. Is there something that i can do to permanently enable it?
thank you in advance

I don't have problem with mine. I use with Alliance v1.4 kernel on my neo. Just for sure you have factory reset, wipe cache partition, wipe dalvik cache and format /system (under mount and storage menu) before you flash it. Hope will help you.

Hi, i made the factory reset, wiped cache partition, dalvik cache and format/system before i flashed the Pureness Rom. I will flash today the Alliance kernel 1.4 because i'm now on the Suave Kernel. Maybe it will make a diference. Anyway thank you for your quick reply and keep up the good work.

Woops sorry
Connect with your computer to the phone using "adb shell" and check with "dmesg" why it fails...
ill recommend a full wipe again and reflash the rom, i used to have a similar problem with both Resurrection and Wanamlite roms, usually after another wipe/clear dalvik it worked like a charm

go into CWM mode and theres an option
wipe data/factory reset
advanced -> wipe dalvik cache
reflash the rom if you are still inside CWM
and test it again
or with a simple wipe on both data and dalvik, without reflashing the rom
try that

What does a modded hulu plus do?
Another day another ROM, I love the amount of dev support this thing has.
Does it support HD video?

Yes, it does.
Switching from CN to CM9
I am running CN ICS v3 and want to flash CM9 A2. Can I just wipe dalvik, cache and factory reset and flash the zip from CWM or do I have to do a complete uninstall and then install because of the different kernals? Thanks

I think you can just CWM the new CM9 A2 over your current ICS install. It will overwrite your current kernel.
Just make sure you do full wipe, cache and Dalvik cache wipe before you do the flash within CWM.
I just flashed mine from CM9 A.6 and so far so good... Have not tested the Netflix but it seems nice so far and no SODs for the last 4 hours since the flash... I hope never but will see...

Did you have Classicnerd loaded? I heard that if you don't do an uninstall it will leave parts of the kernal. I was hoping to do a very good wipe, wipe, wipe and wipe... and wipe some more. Or I can wait for CN to catch up. I do like Leo and the gang.
Thanks for your help.

I just did
Wipe factory data, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache each twice. Reboot. Wipe again. Then flash
Do not restore data inky case, YouTube does not work when I tried to restore from CWM. Restore from TB selectively.
Sound seems to be broken. I get no sound from keyboard and the volume rocker cannot control volume. The volume is either mute or maximum.

Never mind, a reboot fix the sound problem.

Do a full wipe then flash uImage remover zip found on classic nerd site, under ics betas folder, then flash cm9 and gapps.
That is exactly what I did and it works great. I wiped three time of each Dalvik, cache and factory reset, flashed the moboot kernal remover, flashed CM9 v2, gapps and rebooted. Went very smooth. From what I understand is that if you don't get rid if the old kernals and you flash over them they cause problems and that is why you flash the moboot kernal remover.
After I logged in I used TB to reinstall my apps and all is well. Very well. The CM team did an outstanding job.
Thank you all for your advice.

hello everybody,
I just flashed the cm9 by supermaster34 and everything works fine except the usb storage is not working!!
I wiped the cache and dalvik in recovery ,but I dont know what else to do. Is this a bug with the rom or am I just doing something wrong?
Any help is appreciated.

not all of the funtionality is in many cm9 roms. give him some time to fix it and roll out another update and all will be well
wiping cache and resetting data are going to have no effect on it.

have you considered doing a full wipe and flashing the rom again, and fixing permissions or flashing a different rom to see if the audio works?

if the audio worked on one rom and not another, then the system files arent flashing properly.. what recovery are you using.. and like i said have you tried flashing the rom over.. and if so what steps do you take when doing a "full wipe" to flash the rom?

okay, ill say this once again.. *then i think ill add it to my signature*... if you take the proper steps to flash a rom.. make sure that rom is working properly before you do any additional mods to the rom and then say something like the rom is broken or something isn't working../ and also what recovery are you using.. because if your s-on and using any other recovery other than 4EXT your kernel might not flash properly...

try flashing speed rom 7.8 by doing the following...
wipe data/factory
format system
wipe cache partition
wipe delvik cache partition
flash rom
wipe delvik cache
boot rom
sit and wait till screen off and boot back into recovery
fix permissions and wipe delvik cache one more time
enjoy rom... do nandroid backup before applying all tweaks
make sure smart flash in 4ext is enabled-ed

i just downloaded fourth bar and its great i love it and everything is working fine i just want to give you a big thanks for everything and for helping me :good:
it's no problem man, i look out for people having issues that i might have had before, or that i already read about somewhere... and yes fourthbar is one of my fav rom's for the amaze so far since its built on cm9 .. but its cool that everythings working once again.. don't forget to make nandroid backups after you flash a rom successfully and before you try and flash another rom
