I am trying upload a 3d video to Facebook but I want to upload it in 2d. Does anyone know how to do this? For 3d photo's it converts it to 2d, but not for video.
Can this be done directly from the phone or do I need to convert the file on my computer?
Hi all,
I have this movie Avatar which carries the MIME type of video/mp4-3d (refer attachment picture). I'm looking for a tool which can do the same for my other plain MP4 videos.
Why ?
The standard EVO 3D video player can switch to 3D mode when playing a plain MP4 videos on the local disk. But when I'm using the app called "Connected Media" or "Skifta" which allows to stream movies through DLNA servers, I would had lost the option to switch to 3D mode already. However any videos which carries the video/mp4-3d MIME type (Like my Avatar movie) would be successfully streamed via the default player as 3D beautifully.
So here's my question:-
1) Anyone knows of a tool or way to change the MP4 MIME type to MP4-3D ?
Otherwise
2) Anyone knows of a player which allows to stream plain MP4 movies as 3D from DLNA servers ?
Thanks, hopefully its not too complicated to understand what was I posting above.

Solution
So far the only solution was given to me is to RE-ENCODE the movie back to MP4 using handbrake and adding additional settings frame-packing=3) under the ADVANCED tab. With this encoding method, your 3D movies will now be played as 3D mode automatically. Refer screenshot for more details...

I use Xilisoft to convert movies to MP4. I have done a few for this device. They look smooth most of the time but if the movie has alot of action in a scene the picture gets somewhat pixelated.
I have converted to the correct screen size and aspect ratio. Bit rate at 1200 and FPS at 29.97.
Any idea what the optimum settings would be for this device?
im not convert videos...
I use MX Video and i watch all formats (avi, mpeg, rmvb).
Last movie (yesteday), i see Farenheint 9-11, bitrate was 720 and very good image.
Hello guuys i wanted to know the settings that you guys use for HD video full screen for htc radar..... NOTE : i downloaded HD videos converted them into mp4 1080p and it worked awesome in radar but a normal 4 minute song was 250mb video file so wanted to ask if anyone knows any settings HD video less than 100mb?
Randomly searching 1080p mp4 size, I got this torrent file:
ht tp:// kat. ph/chris-brown-sweet-love-official-video-1080p-mp4-t6422728 .html
(I don't like this kind of music, I think that video could be even unlegit)
but as you can see, you should use that bitrate when encoding your videos, firstly download that one and try it...
To which format I should convert my 2k and 4k videos to make them playable on Galaxy S3 Neo, any idea?
I get unplayable videos also after automatic mfpmp conversion to WMV.
I tried all these players and several formats, still no luck:
360VR
AAA VR Cinema
VaR's VR Video Player
Homido
Video Player for Android
VLC
VRTV Free
I had some success with lower resolution 3d 360° videos, but I need at least 1440 lines, because such videos are in Under/Over format, which means vertical resolution is actually half of video resolution, so 2K (1440) becomes HD Ready (720) and 4K (2160) becomes FullHD (1080), and when your eyes are 5 cm from display, you really need the highest possible resolution!
NOTE:
is it possible to edit forum engine limitatins about length of tags? "VR" and "3d" are useful tags but not allowed because shorter than 3 chars.
