So I installed ROM Manager and made an in-app purchase of CWM Touch.
Found out it couldn't see external SD card, so I removed it for an older non-touch CWM.
Rumor has it the latest Touch can see external SD's again, so I tried to re-install it through ROM Manager, but it's trying to charge me again.
Is there an easy way to get it back or do I have to contact the developer for that?
Go to the thread below. It has the IMG files that you can flash via mobile odin to go to a different version.

Hi,
I have two galaxy 5, one with original "TIM" rom and another with Cyanogen 7.1
How can i get the original rom that came in my phone?
I want do that cos i like the original one (modified by my carrier, TIM), and i have 2 phones, one still with the original.
I want to get the original to flash the other that i've modified with Cyanogen 7.1.
Install Clockworkmod - http://www.madteam.co/forum/development/(development)-ltsecret-projectgt/
Then, it will reboot into the new recovery mode.
Go down to Backup/restore > Backup. it will show a load of processes being done. when it has finished your rom will have been backed up onto your sdcard. Copy it, put it onto the phone with cyanogen's sdcard, flash clockworkmod onto that phone and this time go to Backup/restore > Restore from sdcard. go to the place you put the rom and select it. it will do a load of processes and you're all done
Simple : Install Clockworkmod. Backup. Move to other phones sdcard. install clockworkmod. restore. done
any problems, just ask
No, ClockworkMod can't backup stock roms yet. I don't recommend this.
You cannot safely extract the entire rom (including baseband, etc.), but you can download an official ROM update from the Kies server. This would be valid for sending the phone for warranty repair, etc.

Thanks
But for now i will stay in Cyanogen
Hi,
I've been using amon Ra ever since i got into modding. However, I do like the easy to get updates from rom manager. Is there any easy way to swap between the two recoveries?
I know rom manager allows to install both the recoveries, but for each install it downloads the required files. Is there a way to make it install from the files (recovery files of both cwm and amonra) directly from the sd card instead of freshly downloading them every single time?
Twlauncher problem, i get the loop of errors and force to close in my friends launcer unfortunatlly he is not rooted and we are trying to avoid hard reset because he ll loose all the data from the phone
this is a similar problem that i found in youtube and a way to solve it...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vmprlsmHFgw
so the guy installs a launcher from his pc to his phone through the markets site.
the thing is that although my friend has 3G open the new launchers wont download so i found a launcher here in XDA in zip file to install it from the recovery menu, i flashed CWM recovery through odin and placed the zip file in the sd card but i had no luck finding it from the recovery (install zip from sd card) it says tha there is no file there, also cant find the storage on the pc when i mount it from the recovery so i am guessing that the recovery is not reading the sd card.
So finally my question is there a way to install zip or apk files through odin? cause i am sure it works or if there is a total diffrent way to istall something to SGS2 without being able to get in the menu it has to be installed through the recovery or odin.
Every aswer will be appreciated
Thank you all very much and i love this forum
Come on guys even suggestions would be nice...:silly:
If you have USB debugging on, you can push one to it via adb.
Alternatively if on ICS and you have a microSD card, you could use http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1501719 to give you CWM recovery and create a simple CWM flashable update containing one.
ROM Manager asks to install a different version of CWM than team epic provides here forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=28113755
Anyone know what the difference is? The only reason I prefer to use ROM Manager is that its easy to name backup files so I can keep them organized when I go between different roms.
Speaking of ROM Manager, anyone having success using it on their GS3 for backups and such?

I had team epics Cwm & it was working fine & writing backups to my external storage as well as allowing me to install zips etc from external storage. I flashed the cwm from rom Manager & it says it can't find my external sd card, so I'm going back to team epics version myself. Some have said that Rom managers version worked for them, but a lot of ppl I've talked to said it hasn't. If you've got a working version, I'd stick with it for now. I hope I've helped you out some...
I just gave it another try.
My update: The CWM flashed from ROM manager seems to work fine on its own (identically to the team epic version, including ext sd backups), but the ROM manager app doesn't seem to function well. It wont initiate a backup from the app UI without an error message in CWM, and the app ui can't see backups on the external SD card.
So the CWM version is fine, but the ROM manager app is still non-working.
(this is on sprint gs3)
Hi everyone
I bought 3 tablets for Chrismas for my nephews
I have been able to root and install gapps (to have google store) on two of them using NABILAB FULL GUI.
However, the third one didn't work, even I was using the same tutorial....I think It was a UK version tablet
After rooting, the tablet didn't have the gopogle store, and didnt have the wifi as well , I have tried to delete evry thing to return to the factory setting but I ended up with a tablet with no OS, When I turn it on, I get a black screen with the table 'NabiSetup' on the top left.
I contacted NAbi support, But they said that it was an error if rooted tablet, so they don't give any support :crying:
Is their any way to reinstall NABI OS ??
Thanks
Anyway to install, or have you installed a custom recovery on the tablet?

If you are in the US you can try this --
1. Make sure TWRP 2.6.3.0 for Jellybean is on the Nabi. Otherwise, install it.
2. Download the stock 2.3.11 ROM from the Nabi wiki site and unzip it into a folder on your PC.
3. Next you need to copy the 4 recovery files from your PC to your SD card. I put the SD card into my PC and copied the files over putting them into a TWRP back up folder on the SD card. Now, in order for Jellybean TWRP to recognize the backup, I had to fool it into thinking I had a "good" existing Jellybean TWRP backup and rename the TWRP backup folders to something like this:
TWRP\BACKUPS\0f41000001000000\2014-01-24--09-54-07 JRO03C\
4. Put the SD card back into the Nabi and then boot into TWRP mode.
5. Do a restore from there.
It *should* install a clean fresh copy of Jellybean on the Nabi. It does take what seems like an eternity for it to get past the spinning circle with the NABI logo when it's loading for the first time so be patient.
