[Q] Dualboot - Galaxy S III Q&A, (US Carriers)

Will a fully working dual boot be able to work on this phone? On the OG Epic i remember it was possible but since the phone did not have any internal storage the roms on the SD card would run very slow. Im wondering if there will be a fully working dual boot . Something like i could turn it off and switch to my other rom. And also off topic but anybody know when ubuntu is coming to android? (ubuntu.com)

[Q] Dual booting between two different roms

I know it isn't possible to dual boot with windows mobile and android on the eris but would it be possible two have two different roms installed on the same device? This could be done with nandroid backups I guess but I'm looking for something along the lines of booting into one rom shutting down selecting the other rom and booting to that.
This topic was made made 24 hours ago. The answer is yes but not on the Eris, which has too little internal storage space to dual boot anything. When phones start having 1GB of internal storage then we can talk about dual booting.

App2SD Was working now cannot mount?

Hello All,
So I was telling my co-worker how much better my HTC desire was after I rooted and loaded a custom ROM on. I setup mine with App2SD using the Noob proof Desire Guide with the AceSMod007 2.3.3 rom
He asked me if the device can still boot if you take out the Micro SD card, So i tried it an the phone would not boot and seemed to loop. I put the Micro SD card back in and upon booting up again alot of my app's are not working. And i get low storage messages.
I'm guessing booting it up without the partition there has stuffed up the mounting...? How do i resolve it, do I use CWM-AlphaRev Recovery to fix it up and remount the card? (just guessing)
thanks very much
I ended up just reloading the ROM, thanks anyway

[Q] Can't Flash a ROM from my EXTERNAL SD card...

Hey guys,
Had a question, i have downloaded several roms to my ext SD card, my phone sees them and everything while i'm in recovery. My problem however, is that when i try to install one of the roms it just freezes up and doesn't move past the psrogress bar. I was running Clockwork recovery, and thats where the problem started, I was curious if i might had disabled something there. I switched to TWRP and still the same thing is happening. I would love to see if anyone has had this issue and if so if someone could help me out. side note i can flash roms just flash roms from my internal memory just fine..
thanks in advance...

[Q] CM10.1 and internal memory

Hello,
ever since the official CM10.1 builds switched to KEXEC I've been trying to get it working properly. I'm able to flash it just fine but as it assumes the user has an SD card, which I don't I'm kinda screwed. I've swapped the mounts in the fstab file and that works in most cases, but pictures still wont show up in the gallery.
I will be able to get an SD card within the next month but I really don't want to use any stock based ROMs anymore
Anyways I'm wondering if anyone has a fix or can help me out
My RAZR is CDMA though Verizon if that helps. I would post in the original thread but I'm under 10 posts sadly

[Q] Custom ROM for Versus Touchtab 10.1" Tablet and Problems reading SD card

Tablet: VERSUS TOUCHTAB 10.1" DUAL CORE 16GB TABLET ANDROID 4.1 BLUETOOTH
I bought this tablet about a year ago, but I have not really used it because I have an iPad but recently I thought of using it and it was running slow. It was also complaining about memory. I bought a new microSD card but it is not allowing me to save apps to it. I have made sure device is rooted and can access card on PC so microSD card is. Anytime I move to SD always moving to NAND flash memory and not SD. I thought a change of ROM might help with SD issue and also increase speed of tablet. I am currently using jellybean 4.1 and will not let me upgrade through the normal process.
PS. If anyone could suggest a fast ROM compatible with my device would be grateful and also quick guide on how to put new ROM on tablet because not done it before.
